Why do they call it a Trojan Horse?
Wednesday, November 19, 2008

Why do they call it a Trojan Horse if the Athenians were the ones that made it and hid inside of it? Granted, the Trojan Horse does sound better than the Athenian Horse or the Greek Horse, but still. Yeah, yeah, I know that the horse was Troy's symbol, but I don't think the Trojans would have wanted to be remembered for the horse that brought their great city to ruin, now would they?

Anyway, I did have an actual purpose for this log. I have a Trojan Horse. Yippee for me. Things might be slow until I get rid of it. Just letting everyone know that I'm still alive and kicking, and planning to kick that horse's freaking ass. lol.

I think it has something to do with the fact that it was given to the people of Troy, as a supposed gift, and therefore became a "Trojan Horse."
