Hey, I actually do know the date ;). It is November 4 - I e-mailed UIP some days ago and didn't get a response. However, they have since updated their site to include Serenity!

The widget is *highly* customizable. Run Konfabulator (link above). Run the widget. Right click the widget (WIN) and select "Widget Preferences...".

This opens a dialog box that allows you to alter the label "Big Damn Heroics in only..." to whatever message you want, and the label's text color as well. You can also enter a different countdown date (i.e. 'November 4, 2005') as well as the time of the premiere in your locality (e.g., 20:00:00 for an 8 o'clock showtime).

You can likewise select whether the window stays on top of other windows, on bottom, or pasted to your desktop like part of the wallpaper ('Floating') in a position of your choosing. Lastly, you can alter the opacity (transparency) of the entire widget. Click 'Save' and you're good to go.

The ability to alter these settings from within a dialog box was the main reason for choosing this code sample to adapt for FFFn denizens. Because it's fairly customizable, y'all can make the statement *y'all* want, if mine doesn't suit you...
