John, DUDE... the Rover kicked up dust, which floated & settled (1/6 grav, you know); footprints just pressed in don't get covered that way. Think, man- use your intelligence.
Oh, and before you say it, stars are only visible if you crank open the aperture, but that would white-out the foreground (no atmo, y'know).

TANG?!?!?!?! Wasn't he a scientist at NASA before selling us out to the Chinese?!?!?!?! I smell a conspiracy...
Oh, and look ma, no wires!
Quite a feat in the pre-digital age. Hey, maybe the WHOLE SET is above the camera to hide the wires... oh, but there's that pesky lunar dust frakking that theory.
Quote: Ages greater than four billion years have even been measured for some moon rocks and meteorites. These rocks are about a billion years older than the oldest rocks found on earth. This shows that the moon has changed very little since it formed.
Yes, as that article confesses, even in 2009, the only technology NASA has to reach the Moon is to smash into it at 6,000 mph. It appears NASA has never even landed a robot successfully on the surface of the Moon, and probably not Mars either. Orbital robots are infinitely easier.
Quote: Surprisingly, the Moon is a moderately bright gamma-ray source. The only part of the electromagnetic spectrum where the Moon is brighter than the Sun is gamma rays. The surface of the Moon is baldly exposed to cosmic rays and solar flares. When cosmic rays hit the ground, they produce a dangerous spray of secondary particles right at your feet, and trigger little nuclear reactions that release yet more radiation in the form of neutrons. The lunar surface itself is radioactive!" -Dr Robert Naeye PhD, NASA GLAST Fermi Gamma Ray Space Telescope, Solar System: Sun, Moon, and Earth, 23 August 2007 www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/GLAST/science/solar_system.html

I like when astronots keep falling down without fear of ripping their pressure suits and dying a horrifyin death, then defy lunar center of gravity by jumping back up while hanging from wires. When the drop small objects (without wires) they fall at normal Earth gravity.
Funny how the hammer and feather fall at the same speed on Earth as they do on the "moon":
Funny how you never actually SEE the hammer and feather HIT the ground in Apollo. FAIL!
Yes, this is why I find the water thing so curious, because it does shed doubt on our moon mission. I don't doubt that we landed on the moon, I don't know if we'll even know if man walked, but the US and USSR certainly landed probes and found no water.
No water indicated no hydrogen, which is what you would expect from a planet within the initial sphere that made up the sun, big hydrohog that it is. But the dark side patterns are so radically different.
Also, note the cataclysmic resurfacing aged 3.3 billion, close to the age of the Earth. Anyone can see where I'm going with this...
The lack of tracks means that the whole thing was faked.
You see, when faking the moon landings, it's much easier to deposit the fake rover into the shot via a crane than it is to roll it onto the set. This is true even though the rover is demonstrably functional as a vehicle.
Also, the radioactivity in space and on the moon is pretty conclusive. Human beings can not walk around in radioactive environments. They also can't survive in a vacuum. This is true in the same way that humans can't survive at deep ocean depths or breathe under water.
Also, you probably remember that the last time the local hospital used a gamma procedure, everyone in the building died. Except for that Banner asshole, who keeps troubling the military.
You may have heard rumors that Dr. Manhattan facilitated the whole venture. I'm looking into some recently discovered footage of the event, but I honestly don't expect to find any conclusive evidence.
In short, the whole thing was faked. And it was faked cleverly, in a way that seems counter-intuitive and explainable by ordinary logic and science. That's the brilliance of it, really.

My interest in Apollo et al is engineering and science, because USA cannot survive a lie, just like it cannot survive export of factories and jobs.
SciFi, er, SyFy, er, PsyFi, is no substitute for engineering, science and reality.
Actually walking on The Moon requires facing the facts of space physics, with gamma rays, x-rays, 6-million-mph charged particles, 250 deg F and -250 deg F AT THE SAME TIME. Which is quite a challenging equation.
It would require spaceraft design like nothing we've imagined before. Now THAT would make a great scifi story.
This whole idiotic theory coulda been avoided in the first place if them dimwits at NASA hadn't thrown in shots from the practice runs to bulk up the footage thinkin the american public would be too stupid to notice the difference.
Yes, SOME of the questionable shots ARE from the practice zone - so what, don't prove nothin neither way, and in order to get out into space in a major way we'd need both practice in deep space navigation and operations, and a way to get past the Governments of this world and their pathological fear of what folk would do the instant they got out of cannon range, if you know what I mean.
Cause threatening folk on the opposite end of the gravity well could have potentially disastrous consequences, don't ya know...

This is all 'cause you failed Spacecamp when you were a kid, isn't it?
