Daedalus Project: Set for release in June of 2010

This is to officially announce that Debello Animaiton Studios is creating a Feature Length Animate Movie. It is in a Space Opera Setting in the year 2505. The movie itself will be 1 hour and 45 minutes in length. It will then have 10 Episodes that are 30 minutes long each. They will be released on the internet as a free download later on. Our Story and Script is complete. Currently the Art Department is working on Concept art for Characters, Sets, Vehicles, props, and etc. Art work will be posted by April. I hope everyone can be patient with us. This is a project that is heavily influenced by the Firefly Universe, Isaac Asimov, Frederik Pohl and Piers Anthony. Official Trailer will be released in June of 2009. Currently there is 15 of us working on this project, so we are doing everything. The official title is yet to be announced, but feel free to announce ideas on the blog page of www.debellostudios.org. Or please respond here. I would like to thank everyone in the past that has helped me with story ideas from www.Fireflyfans.net. All we ask is to be patient with our project. Thank you for your time.

You guys might want to run a Google search on the name before you commit to it. "Daedalus Project" is actually already in use by a fairly famous ongoing study of the sociology of MMORPGs. http://www.nickyee.com/daedalus/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Yee At best you're likely to confuse people, and at worse you could actually face cease and desist letters or lawsuits, depending on if the name is a registered trademark.

Thank you for the response. We are aware of the Daedalus Project group that is out there. Thank you for your concern. Most people wouldn't say anything or would say something derogatory in response. Thanks for being nice.
We are aware of The Daedalus Project (Nick Yee), Project Daedalus (British Space Project), The Daedalus Encounter Game starring Tia Carrera, Daedalus (Music Group), Daedalus (A JISC Fair Project) in Glasgow, and the Daedalus Research group. I guess it was a bad choice of temp titles...
So, I guess it is time to announce the Title on the website along with the trailer to the film. It will be posted over the weekend when we update with the new site.
Thanks to CaliforniaKaylee, we did find out that Daedalus Project is Copyrighted to Kevin Liaw in 2005.

One of my good friends and old soaring buddies was a pilot on the Daedalus Project...
It was run out of MIT , and the goal was to fly from Crete to Santorini via a human-powered aircraft...
So my friend wasn't just the pilot , he was the 'engine' , also !
