Hey. You know how Werzbowski's dad got sick and we kinda pitched in with our best wishes, prayers and support? Well, one of our best fanfic writer's, KaySky, husband is in the hospital. I don't know what for, but this is part of the e-mail she sent me.

"I know it has been ten years since I've had a chance to write back. At first it was just the crunch time of finals week, but now it's my
husband. He's been in the hospital, so I've been by his side. Tonight is the first night I've been home since...umm hell, I don't know what
day it is. Anyways, I'm exhausted and only came home because my mother-in-law flew into town and she can stay with him at the hospital tonight so I can get some sleep...I'm so damn tired I actually drove to my old house, parked in the driveway, and went to the door before realizing I didn't live
there anymore. I haven't lived in that house for over a year now. That is really, really bad. My brain is totally out of order. My husband will be fine eventually, maybe in another week or so he'll
be able to come home. He went in....umm...crap I don't know anymore. He's been there at least a week already. I need to hit the hay. It'll be nice to sleep in a real bed tonight, but I've got to get up early so I can help him wash and whatnot.

I don't know if this is really serious, or if it's just routine and he'll all be better by next week. But I think it would really boost her spirits if we sent her some condolences and best wishes and prayers for her and her husband. You can either post on this thread or you can click on her profile, or send her an e-mail to emailkaysky@gmail.com

Peace for her and her husband.

And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ... ow ... ound ... round ... ground! That's it! That's a good name - ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me?

I have often enjoyed the humor and heart displayed in KaySky's work. By extension, her husband must be an extraordinary person to be blessed with such genius in his life. My thoughts and prayers are with them both. Please post if she needs any assistance.

The Man They Call Soul...

Let me send my prayers, too!

I really miss her work. I was wondering where she had dissapeared to. I'll keep her and her husband in my prayers.

They are in my thoughts and prayers, also.

Please, if you get an update from her, let us know!

Hey. I just wanted to give an update on the situation with KaySky and her husband. She sent this to me just now.

"I just wanted to jump on really quickly and give you an update. My hubby came home from the hospital today. He's still in a lot of pain, but hopefully he'll get better soon. The doctor's estimate about 2 weeks.

Basically, to make a long story short, he went to the emergency room because he was in severe pain. After a few tests, they decided it was his gallbladder. That would have been an in and out surgery, but a stone had gotten stuck in his bile duct and he needed to be transported to a different hospital with a specialist that would be able to do another surgery and remove it. This wouldn't have been that bad either except he developed a case of Pankrititas (I have no clue how to spell that) and got an inflamed liver, a urniary tract infection, respitory problems, and a few other things. The most brutual was the Pankrititas. Right now he's on narcotics trying to help with the pain, they aren't doing a very good job, but I'm hoping now that he is at home, he'll feel a little better and hopefully can start getting back on his feet.

I really appreciate your concern. Towards the end when he kept getting worse for awhile I became a neverous wreck, but it was nice to know you cared. =o) It made me feel better. As for Noah, don't worry, he'll be back to himself in a few weeks hopefully. I probably won't be back online until he is doing okay though. He's really weak and stressed and I just don't want to leave his side.

Thanks so much again for caring."

So he's somewhat in the clear, but is still in pain. So please post your support here. Show her that we all want Noah to get better.

Peace

Oh goodness, poor him! I can't imagine the pain. I had gallstones and inflamed gallbladder that they had to remove last year and I didn't think anything could get worse than that (they say it's worse than childbirth-man I hope they're right.) But to add an inflamed liver and pankriwhatsis and respitory problems...poor guy!

KaySky and her husband continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Swift healing!!!

And ditto from me....

Its always horrific when someone you love is in pain and them being in hospital just kinda stops real life and makes everything seem so drawn out and strange!

Hope he's home soon!

KAYSKY

Hey everyone,

I was just reading this, and it made me cry (the good kind). It means a lot to me that you all kept us in your prayers.

Anyways, my hubby is nearly 100%. He still has an elevated liver level (what the heck that means, I don't know), but he's back at work and fullfilling all his husbandly duties.

What was supposed to have been a two week recovery turned into an over a month recovery. That had to be the longest month of my life (not including the two weeks he spent in the hospital). But it's over, and I couldn't be more relieved. We even just celebrated our three year anniversary a few weeks ago.

When someone you love loses 60% of their lung capacity and is in critical care because they can barely breath or move, it really scares the hell out of a person and makes them think. It's partly why I wrote my latest post in the Blue Sun Room, "Appreciation". Ever since I was a kid I've always expressed my feelings through writing. It's much easier than saying them out loud somehow.

And for those of you wondering about "The Unexpected", don't worry. I sort of have major writer's block and don't really even know how to pick up where I left off, but I just started thinking about so many fanfics I've read and so gotten into only to never read the end because there isn't one. For those of you that have enjoyed my stories, I can't bring myself to do that. So I will try and finish it somewhat soon.

Again, thank you all for caring.

I wrote the following before I read this post. I hope and pray that you and your husband are doing well and are happy and healthy

I'm a fan. I've resently found Serenity sites on the net and have read fanfic almost everyday.

I just want to let you know that i'm a fan of your works. They are imaginative and exciting. I really like the Kaylee/Simon relationship, there are so many possibilities. Anything to see her glowing smile. I also like the Mal as father relationship with River.

I have two questions.

1. May I archive your stories?

-and-

2. When is Simon and River getting away from the gorram Alliance. That cell must be pretty rank about now.;)

Till later.

Zucht
