Isn't it great! I started off with the Jayne/Wash exchange from Objects in Space, "You wanna go, Little Man? Only if it's someplace with candle light," untill I looked up at the top quote one day and saw this Joss gem. I hurt myself laughing and after applying rudimentary first aid I proceeded to .sig it.

Nah, there's no need to leave. The only time I've ever left is on the eleventh floor when everyone was makin' me crazy jealous with convention talk. It was for my own safety.

I will, however, add that your mad kitchening skills are something to go gaga over, even if it happens very seldom. Thanks again for a yummy cyber, imaginary breakfast! Isn't that nook fridge GREAT?

Your scary ass puppet? What is that? I'd love to see it! I wonder if it would scare my little brother...

I've been itching to watch the movie Better Off Dead. Damn papers! When I finish I am SO going to curl up infront of my telly and watch it. You're all invited. It's a hi-larious movie. Ski jokes, John Cusak (the younger, slightly attractive John Cusak), and some of the funniest movie lines ever written.

"I've been going to this high school for seven years, Lane. I'm no dummy" is right up there with "I can stand here a little longer".

Hey maybe we could do a double feature with Bullets Over Broadway. Cusak's in that as well and I've never gotten arround to watching it. Frankly though I'm not sure it'll be that great. Sadly I don't see how a movie based on my life could be all that exciting.

oh hey! Cusack is always attractive, just watch the way he moves, every little twitch is intriguing. That little Pooh-bear Stare he has, just make you want to reach out and smooth his eyebrows out of poke his little chin dimple ever so gently.

I could join you and then you wouldn't need a scary-ass puppet, you'd have me. (I think I could be scary-ass enough--I sared the "aahh"'s out of my lttle bro with my Chucky impression--sorry, I couldn't resist.)

As for John Cusak always being attractive. I dunno. I kinda fell of that bandwagon when he got frumpier and frumpier with age--he was such a classy lookin' dude when he was younger, but now, with the wispy hair, the baggy clothes and the hiking boots in EVERY movie. Sorry, but I need a little class with my men. Casual is fine most of the time, but I like a bow tie every once-in-a-while, too.
As for other Cusak movies (ahh, the 80's were great). One Crazy Summer with Meatloaf, Demi Moore and John Cusak CLASSIC!

Wacky fun!

I like JC, as an actor.

Loved One Crazy Summer and Grosse Point Blank, High Fifelity, on the other hand... yuck.

Not nearly as bad as The Eternal Sunshine of The Vacant Mind or Envy, but close...

Too bad the "Poo-B-Gone" isn't real so I could spray it on Ben Stiller... and his dad for that matter.

I'd take a John Cusak bomb over a Ben Stiller hit any day.

Must remember to rent Serendipidy.

Oh, The Sure Thing was good too. I liked him in Con Air too.

So I guess you win some and you lose some.

Let's throw George of the Jungle on, I brought a couple of bags of Lays potato chips. Curry or Wasabi flavour? I have regular flavours for those less adventurous.

John Cusak movies I liked:
Better Off Dead--absolute favorite! If I ever meet John, I'll thank him for making that movie.
One Crazy Summer, Empire Records--oh wait, no that was the dude from Northern Exposure(good show)--Say Anything, Serendipity(kinda), Being John Malcovich--VERY strange movie--and this one about a lawer who visits New Orleans to suss out what happened between two gay guys (it's got Kevin Spacey in it, might have been made-for-tv. BTW, K-Pax is a pretty good film)

George of the Jungle, here I come. I can't eat popcorn, but I've got a microwave. I'll eat skittles and milk duds while you all eat the cursed beloved popcorn (gar!). CMS, would you pop this bag'o corn into the micro? Thanks!

Anyone got a blanket? I'd LOVE a blanket, especially on this uber comfy floor.

'crawls to the Braun'

you gotta love a man who's first priority in the morning is stubble rash prevention.

Dave, I think theres still breakfast around here somewhere...

I liked Pushing Tin too, even though I really don't like Jolies ex.

And the reason I still love JC is because my enduring memory is of him in Grosse Point Blank -all sharp and sexy black suits and twitchiness.

I haven't seen Serendipity, but I did see that one a few years ago, where all these seemingly unconnected people end up stuck in this motel with a killer on the loose

Select to view spoiler:

and it turns out all the people are all just the multiple personalities of this one guy

but I can't remember what its called.

I loved As Good As It Gets! and Oh Brother. Both of them, even though they didn't make big bucks, got rave reviews and are still held up as classics and 'ones to watch'

I'm sorry but I think I have to disabuse you of a notion you have. Although Braun does make a very fine electric shaver they also make a very fine coffee machine which was the appliance that I was desperately attempting to reach this morning. And while I'm no big fan of stubble rash it's third or maybe even fourth on my morning worry list.

Speaking of JC, A Sure Thing was on TV this afternoon. I watched it while I ate my malt-o-meal sans milk because my grandparents used up the last of my special organic milk to make hot cocoa. Grr.

Anyway, silly movie, but he's just so cute in it.

I think Serendipity is a cute movie, I just hate that the 2 of them both have fiances that they just randomly dump to be with each other. I always think "What about John Corbett? He was cute and funky and interesting!! What's going to happen to him!" I thought at the very least, they could have had a scene where the 2 dumped fiances meet and hit it off. Instead of leaving them hanging.

Movies where the fiances get dumped at the last minute and you don't ever find out what happens to them really bother me.

Mattie: I'm not such a big fan of microwavable popcorn. I prefer the air popper. Than you can add however much salt or butter or whatever you want. Micro-popcorn is too salty for me.

it's just a nation simulator more or less, they present you with issues every so often and you choose which course of action your government will take. it tells you what kind of government you have and what its focus is along with how it ranks in areas like civil or political rights and economy...just a fun little distraction kinda deal

I could try...

Okay I created a nation, Libertasterra (freeland):
Civil Rights:
Superb

Economy:
Fair

Political Freedoms:
Excellent

The Republic of Libertasterra is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its burgeoning eagle population. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Social Welfare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 37%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Pizza Delivery.

Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Libertasterra's national animal is the eagle, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the dollarpound.

I might make another one called DictatorLand or something...

Edit:
I think this is my favorite nation:
The Hateful Hating Hated Haters of Hatred
Corporate Police State

Moto:"We Hate You!"

very nice, citizen ;D

dollarpound, nice currency, haha...and The Hateful Hating Hated Haters of Hatred is a pretty intense nation, lol

I have two: Elemdee and Yhamez, Elemdee I tend to go with whatever I feel like picking (sometimes not, though) and Yhamez is all about civil and political freedoms ;)
