You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

I've never done two images for the same artist before. There's a first time for everything!

"Tears of Pearls" by Savage Garden.

It's nice to make another of these. I've been spending all my time making South Park characters of the BDH's.

Oh, and I figured out why my Photobucket album wouldn't display before, so if you're still interested in seeing other things I have done, this should work now: http://s63.photobucket.com/albums/h121/PhoenixRoseStar/

I took a look at your photobucket account, pretty shiny stuff. One suggestion though, you might want to put titles on your pictures that go with songs, just so people know. I really like your new addition, by the way.

How do I do that? Under description? Ok, I will do that.

If you ever get way to much time on your hands check out cowboy mouth, Home or The avenue . both songs have been very close to my heart since the storm.

I always have way too much time on my hands!
I can try to look up the titles, see what I get from them.

Cowboy Mouth lyrics seem particularly difficult to find...
Well, this suggestion was left in my blog:

Oooo, shiny. Whoever made the suggestion to you certainly has good taste.

Alot of great images already! My love for The Beatles has to come out here so I'm thinking either Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds or Yellow Submarine, pretty obvious choices but I've always thought great imagery. Also Dreamboat Annie by Heart might be a good song or Bungle in the Jungle by Jethro Tull.

As long as we're talking about Jethro Tull, may I suggest Beggar's Farm or Aqualung?

WOW! Posts!
OK, Ms G, here ya go:

Temptation Waits by Garbage

Was hard deciding which picture of the lovely Shirley Manson I should use. This won because of the dress, mostly.
I will work on "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" though I've never been sure who I should use as Lucy. Might just use the tangerine river; that'd be a departure from most image interpretations of the song! Of course, any others I've seen have been exclusively title representations, so maybe that's why.
Might work on Jethro Tull, too. I promise nothing.

Glad you like it, monkey

I'm glad you like it so much, Yukari!
I sure wish I could make photomosaics; I've got a great idea of how to do a song called "Scattered" but it would involve a mosaic and I just don't know how to do that. Ah well.

Anyway, happiness and joy I finally completed a picture I've been looking for all the right elements for for months!

I guess me crazily liking anything to do with classic rock would give it away. Huge fan of the oldies with only a few exceptions. And your shiny images definitly deserve the praise!

PR, I like this thing that you are doing, some very interesting subjects.

Might I suggest a couple of titles for you to work with. I now you said that you were not a big fan of female artists but:

There is a very good fan vid of Sia's "Breathe Me" I think that it would make a good subject for you.

Alanis Morrissette "Mary Jane" from Jagged Little Pill, especially the accoustic version.

One male for now,

Jonny Cash's version of "Hurt" the emotion in his voice should provide a little inspiration.

If nothing hits the mark no problem you probably have plenty to go with for now.

I enjoy your work.

Thank you for the suggestions, windie! I'll see about it, but I'll tell you that I mostly go by lyrics, so it doesn't matter if it's accoustic or done by a particular artist. Well, except that of course whoever sings it appears in the image.
And I love female artists, I'm just picky about them.

You are quite the artist PhoenixRose. Those are some mad skills you've got there. BTW, I can't believe you know who David Wilcox is. He got his start where I live. I guess he must be doing pretty well for himself.

These are all great PR!
If you still want to make more of these, and you need ideas, might I reccommend my screenname? A Sorta Fairytale by Tori Amos is definitely one of my favorite songs ever, and the lyrics are so pretty too...but really, they're all amazing, I wish I had some artistic talent!

Wow, haven't seen this thread in awhile

At one point I actually tinkered with making a picture with 'A Sort of Fairy Tale' and I could not make it work. Right after that I tried 'Liquid Diamonds' which worked very well and is still one of my favorites
