I missed most of the last floor...think I'll see if I can hang in this one a little better.

*sets up the coffee bar in the corner*

Should be ready in a minute or two.

Legal age...isn't it a bit lower in the European countries? I seem to remember 17 or 18 in most of Britain...please correct me if I am wrong.

*lowers himself to the squishy floor near the coffee bar*

*Finally figures out how stairs work. Apparently, the trick is in understanding that they don't, rather, you do. Huh.*

So, I go lurkitylike to Seryn's fine myspace page, and read, "you are in {Seryn's} extended network." Which is, y'know, groovy. The ironical part is, I don't ever remember creating a myspace account.

Which begs the question: How drunk was I that night?

So, Tristan, which one of these is 100% caffeine foating around in water and not too pleased about it brand?

Cozen, I always recommend the Jamaican Blue Mountain. It's good for a rapid wake-up, and is quite tasty on top of that. I used to have some Turkish coffee, but it escaped...now, THAT was coffee.

I hear ya. That Turkish coffee can be wicked hard to pin down.

Also, if it took me this long to figure out how stairs work, you might consider the elevators challenged bit.... All that sequential, linear thinking kinda trumps me.

It's definitely lower in Germany, haha. I'd almost go so far as to say if you can reach the bar, you can drink.

I was living over then when I turned 18. On American military bases overseas you can drink at the age of 18. I remember going out to eat on my 18th birthday and my parents forcing me to have a beer. I didn't even finish it (i was against alcohol until almost the age of 21...women).

ok, think what would be the most likely name for a profile made by a drunken Cozen?

we could search for it.

On the other had, do we really want to know what Cozen would put in a profile while drunk?

the words 'warping' and 'fragile little minds' come to mind.

Yup, in Britai the legal age is 18. I know in spain they have a legal age, but i don't think anyone much cares for it. probably like that in the reat of the continent.

Um, coffee, make mine a decaff irish latte (with Baileys in it) and um yes, headachy, going to join CMS on the squishy floor. If someone would like to be my pillow?

I don't like my head when is misbehaves like this.

'Sides I've some fragile little minds to warp in a bit. Won't take long. I've plenty of practice.

My head misbeaves too... a lot. But I like it.

Oh and I doubt cozen has a profile, The extended network thing shows up for anyone who views a profile. I got the same message before I had one.

Oh i don't know, I just went back and reread the first few threads. They weren't all bad. but I am much happier now than I was then, and a lot of that has to do with the people who are still here, and the absence of a few people who were around then.

Yeah, the first threads weren't all bad...just dramatic is all (and I'm certainly one to blame for it, haha).

YIM, I don't get on it so often lately...by the time I get done with work and having stared at a computer all day I tend to sort of stay away from it once I get home, to a point. I usually end up watching dvd's.

ah too bad. you shouldn't hide what you think and feel if you want people to know you. and the whips and chains.... well, don't knock it till you try it. I think far too many people have the wrong impression about such things.

From the album Radiation by Marillion

Born to Run

The quiet sadness of the people of the North
Echoes silently around the cold grey places
Ecstasies undared
Tremble upon the edge of the tightly, respectably unfulfilled
Who drink to excess in order to forget what never happened
Brave faces
Well dressed ordered minds on suicide's edge
Reflected in the rain-skimmed slate grey, battleship grey, hardship grey

[Blue grey]

And further South, and homeless
Here I am
Globally altered and dishevelled
Oh darling, I've done it all
An antithesis of sorts
And yet bound together and hopelessly in love
With the inevitable loss
And the end
How can we run from ourselves?

Anyway, I got to sleep in a big old king sized bed last night. I could stretch my arms out on both sides and not touch the ends. It was fantastic. And, I had lots of pillows.

I hope the pie hit Mai and not me, because I am no so fond of key lime. (Don't tell my brother. It's his speciality!)

You know what else we need?

*grabs a jar and starts flinging cherries at Mai. A few stick, adding to her "I'm a chocolate sundae" appearance."

Cozen, I do realize that...and I revel in the fact. I am merely providing a moving target for the ladies...better practice that way!

*runs to the kitchen, returns with a jar full of candy sprinkles*

Someone say sundae?

*throws sprinkles over all and sundry*

Holding until you get back, Captain.

I've been sundaed! You know this means war!

*steals the container of sprinkles and dumps the entire thing on Serenity's head*

*takes handfuls of key lime and sets to throw them back at Cozen*
