Glad to hear it. Someone actually sent me a review for someone's else fic because they got them confused. When I had finished rending their soul for said transgression, I checked said fic, and noted the dates compared to mine. Nuff said.

If I could really prove it, there would be pain. Much pain.

About 4 years ago, I wrote a Highlander piece that won some fanfic awards. 2 years later, I'm sitting chatting on-line with some friends when a newbie comes in talking about "her brand new" fic.

She posted her piece and my jaw is dropping lower and lower and lower ... she had lifted my entire 6 page story word for word. Actually, she made two changes. She changed the character's eye and hair color and everywhere where my character was mentioned as having silver jewelry (this was important to the plot) she had changed it to gold.

I told her flat out that she was a plagarist and a thief. She called me a liar. About that time, everyone else in the room pulled up the old records and pasted my original work with the dates presented.

Never saw the thief again. Sounds like she's found a new fandom to exploit.
