I had a feeling you'd say that, so I made some cupcakes with the leftover batter!

They're the special kind with pudding inside! Did you ever get those when you were a kid? The mom who made the pudding cupcakes was always the most popular one.

Lunch? Isn't cake lunch? Maybe real food later. Right now an overdose of chocolate is in order. I have to say I have never had pudding cupcakes. Sounds absolutely yummy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAI!!!

Like those liquour filled bonbons, but cakey!

*runs off to kitchen and starts mixing ingredients. Flour flies, eggs crack, batter splatters. Soon a delicious aroma wafts under everyones' noses. There is much mixing and beating and frosting and then....*

TADA!!! I did it! Alcohol-filled cupcakes. Well, really, it's an alcohol flavoured filling. These are scotch, these are rum with the cinnamon, these are baileys (I like these), there lemony ones are tequila. See how the frosting's dipped in salt?

So, what do you think?

Do you mean this game? http://www.educationallearninggames.com/ungame.asp If so I know what you mean. Back in the day we used to call this, "just talking". Or if it involved our parents, "being interrogated".

Still it's probably better than playing the UN game. 6 people arguing loudly (each in a different language) about the wording of the rules of the game that everybody knows will never get resolved.

What the hell kinda psycopath turns THAT into a board game?!?!?!?!?!

and who would buy it?

Cripes, makes those swinging parties where partners are selected by car keys look like a healthsome diversion.

How about they make Ritual Sacrifice - The Game 'Come on! Spill your gut's! (literally!)'

Ok, that really freaks me out, really. Even more than the urinals in MacDonalds shaped like big mouths

As a therapy tool for people who are having communication problems and mediated by a trained professional it has some merit. I wouldn't try it at home on my own though. "We have to communicate more" isn't the answer to every question.

As long as everybody involved is a fully consenting adult I don't see the harm. People get up to much worse in the name of fun.

I should imagine in a thereputic situation they have much more effective methods of communicating than a board game though.

ok, maybe i should change that to 'what the hell kind of psychotic mass markets that'

and as for those swinging parties, its not the swinging htat i objects to (though, personally, eurgh.) but the fact that you don't know them and its just icky.

i mean even on a one night stand theres a certain amount of attraction and intimacy involved, plus, you never know where they've been - what nasties they have.

I'll maintain my earlier stance.

It's not as ominous as it sounds. It's a simple drinking game. Take 2-3 decks of cards and shuffle them together. spread them out in a circle face down. one person draws and puts their card in the middle. the next person does the same, low card drinks. You could do it with UNO cards too, the reverse would add an interesting dynamic, but I shudder at the thought of "drink four".

se, i prefer the basic drinking games.

The Buffy one for instance - watch one onf the shows - every time buffy slays a vamp, drink, every time girl scoobies slay, boys drink, everytime boy scoobies slay, girls drink, everytime buffy laments the single life, girls drink, so and so does something all drink, everytime Giles takes his glasses of and cleans them, down the whole lot.

tis fun.

which makes me think, maybe we should work out the firefly version - everytime Jayne mentions a weapon, drink, etc.

could be a mite amusing.
