Ooh, what a good day to wake up to!

Now I really want ice cream.

Guys, all I've been doing all weekend is sleeping! No lie. I slept from 10:30pm-8:30am and then from 10:30am-2:15pm. Must try to be awake for just a little bit.

Ice cream. I want ice cream....

Welcome to National Vanilla Ice Cream Day.
Howdy Hidey Peeps.
So what were we talking about?
Nice people, hiding, I'm not sure ...
If a nice person is occassionally overwhelmed by not nice thoughts/actions, are they still nice?
If someone remembers those actions with fondness and longs to repeat them, are they completely corrupt?
If a strong will is all that prevents action, are you nice? or just strong-willed?

"I have been here many times before In a life I used to live
But I have never seen these streets so fresh Washed with morning rain
I have seen this face a thousand times Every morning of my life
But I never saw these eyes so clear Free of doubt and pain
Like the whole world has been made again."

CMS! I'm glad to see you're back from your short absence. I will happily give you some ice cream!
*holds out a large bowl filled to brimming with large scoops of vanilla ice cream*
Would you like some toppings? I have chocolate syrup, caramel, sprinkles, whipped cream, even a cherry to put on top, not to mention all KINDS of mix-ins. Just lemme know.

I would answer in the affirmative. Yes, they are still nice.
Quote:

How often with fondness? Would you actually repeat them?
Quote:

Humm... philisophical, aren't we? I think it depends upon how often you desire to repeat those actions/thoughts. If you are more often than not overwhelmed by those thoughts/actions, then maybe you're just a strong willed person. However, if a person more often than not desires good will for themselves and those they interact with (or if you just don't care) then I think it can be assumed that you are a nice person.
Was this a rhetorical question session that i just messed up, though?
Humm...

Wacky fun!

the answer to all those questions is completely situational.

Just how not nice are the thoughts/actions?
Does repeating the not nice thoughts/actions have consequences attached to them?
Is not a strong will necessary to maintain niceness in an increasingly corrupt world?

I'm exceedingly ill, and its entirely too early and i'm damn sick of it.

so if nobody minds to much, i'm not going to eat the ice cream, but i will lie here with my hot water bottle and my baby bear and nibble contentedly on any viennese truffles that might be offered my way.

I really don't feel good.

But at least i'm still cheerful. What we need are dancing girls. or maybe dancing boys. or a mixture of the two. I could go for some soft hawian music and a dancer or two.

Hi, Tristan. Though you can't see me, I'm actually sitting on that couch. Come on in and have a seat!

Yesterday was a holiday here. Happy Pioneer Day everyone! I got to be in the big parade that went all over the down town. I dressed up as a pioneer and pulled a handcart about two miles. No big deal. The handcart was empty and the roads were relatively flat. (Much unlike my previous handcart pulling experience when I pulled a handcart filled with supplies and clothing for 10 people for 3 days--up hill. Wow, that was fun.) It was fun, but very, very hot.

Wacky fun!

Kahlua is a tricky thing. It has to be mixed right. See, it's a coffee flavoured liquor, and, well, I don't like coffee. But mix it right and the flavour can be good. Like with White Russians, it can come out tasting like chocolate milk.

Well, I'd offer to bring a blender but I don't actually own one. That's one of those strange contraptions people use in that weird room called a kitchen? I don't do kitchens. Though bringing a blender through airport security might be amusing.

I used to have a blender that ran on rechargable batteries. I can't remember if I still have it, if I gave it to my roomie when she got married, if it died or if I sold it at my yard sale.

It only cost about $30 when I bought it. It worked pretty well, it was designed for bringing to the beach or wherever to make drinks.

LMD: I'll bring my homemade kahlua with me. It's about 6 years old, so it's really good now. It's yummy on ice cream.

Mai: I don't see why bringing a blender would be weird. I lugged a sewing machine through airport security once. That was HEAVY. And my guitar has flown on more than one flight. But, you shouldn't have to lug housewares from Missouri, that's complicated.

I'd volunteer the one we have at our house, but of course (like everything else we own) it just broke and the grands can't be bothered to replace it. Remind me to buy them a new one for Christmas!

mmm, milkshakes. Tasty. Chocolate raspberry is one of my favourites.

There's this ice cream parlour in Maine called Giffords that makes my favouritestest flavour ever. Maine Black Bear, which is vanilla ice cream with raspberry swirls and then chocolate, raspberry filled truffles. Divine. I usually get it as a soda with raspberry flavoured soda. The only thing that stinks is that I can only get it when I'm in Maine and I haven't been there in over 2 years. Some serious jonesing, let me tell you!!!

Another good milkshake (which I always say I invented, but I'm sure I didn't) is strawberry ice cream with pineapple and vanilla syrup. Yum!
