summer semesters much make the summer fly by and seem very unsummery! But, one does what one must do, right?

I could do what what must be done
Given a semester with Summer.
Intensive study:
I'll stay the course!
Then exams would be no bummer.
I'd apply my mind to every detail,
Concentrate with furrowed brow.
Welcome homework
And extra projects
To complete degrees of Glau.

Y'know, I thought I'd never see
Me taken with celebrity.

Precisely! That's why I took summer classes in the first place.

And, you know, it was the best possible way I could have spent my time this summer. I figured I would take classes and get ahead before I get really behind when I leave in January, but it's been such a blessing for me to have school as a distraction this summer!!

Wacky fun!

Who's making you grumpy? Who? I'll moidelize 'im. Yes I will.

So cheering of the up. We have puppys http://www.ratemypuppy.com/ and kittens http://www.ratemykitten.com/ and even a stray wombat http://www.wombatsound.com/wombat.html and if that doesn't help here is a coach class ticket to Hershey, PA. I'll bet you can find a vat or two of chocolate there. *hands CMS a ticket on a fly by night airline*

What kind of chocolate do you want? I hear there's a shop up the road where I can get all manner of imported chocolate. I can stop there before D*C.

That is a very cheery thought.

Oh, how I miss Hersey PA. Hershy park is great! They give you free chocolate if you ride the stupid tour that tells you how chocolate is made. Nice, cool, airconditioned ride in the dark and chocolate! It's awesome. The whole freakin' town smells chocolatey. Oh how I love Hershey PA!

Hershey, PA really is an awesome town, isn't it?! I'm sorry you're not feeling very happy today, CMS. Is that why I got to hear the "I hate Paris" ditty? Aww, it must be bad if you're singin' that!

I know what you mean. There is one particular chocolate factory here in Chicago that is just upwind of downtown. In the winter what with all the extra candy making for the hollidays and leading up to Valentines day they make lots of chocolatey things. On a good night when the wind is low and blowing out towards the lake the most fantastic smell envelopes the loop - the smell of brownies just begining to burn.

Wish I could take credit for the idea but it was a wiser person than me that discovered that pictures of small furry creatures are the best internet cure for depression.

I used to work at a bakery that was on the side of a hill. I'd come to work in the early early morning and the smell of cake baking would be drifting down the hill. People would always wander in telling us how good it smelled.

And then a sushi restaurant opened up next door and the smell of raw fish would waft down the hill towards us. Ooh, our owner was mad.

Sushi when it's presented well is really beautifull food. It's a pity I really dislike fish so I can't eat it. At least I can't eat it with any level of pleasure.
