Yeah, I'm best at editing pictures to make them what I want. Or writing things. But mostly it seems to be editing pictures.
That particular glorious phoenix had a weird pillar in front of it when I found it, which I had to edit out. I improve most phoenix pictures I find, in fact. There are a few I love when I find, but mostly I go "this would be really great if it were like this, if it were on a black background, if the wings were bigger..." etc etc.
This is a particularly popular one; I've expanded the wings as much as I could. They looked so tiny when I found it!

I have way too many phoenix pictures...

'Kay, so what I would like is a picture of Tyler Cobb. He's Jayne's nephew, and wants to be just like his uncle when he grows up. I saw a picture of AB in 'My Bodyguard', and there was another screenshot of him from something else, all truculent and longer hair and leather jacket. Of course, if you could find a way of putting them together, it would be fun.

PREGNANCY SPELL
Start facing the East (the direction of the rising sun, symbolic of New Beginnings) and turn clockwise in the Northern hemisphere, and counter-clockwise if you are in the Southern hemisphere. Repeat to each direction...
"To you my child, my body is open.
To you my child, my mind is open.
To you my child, my heart is open.
By Earth, Fire, Wind, and Sea,
Into my arms you will be."
(Last two lines are said while looking at your cradled arms)

The Full Moon is symbolic of the Goddess in the Mother aspect (Maiden, Mother, Crone) and DesktopHippie is quite correct about this tradition. Try the spell above in the light of a Full Moon for maximum potency. (FYI: the Full "Woodcutter's" Moon is tomorrow, August 9th. Here in Washington DC it will "officially" be full at 6:56 am, but any time late tonight or early tomorrow morning will be sufficient)

Once you have become pregnant...

BIRTH HERBS

Red Raspberry Leaf This is an herb rich in numerous vitamins and minerals, especially iron. It also nourishes the uterus, soothes nausea, helps prevent miscarriage, eases labor pains and builds a healthy breast milk supply.

Nettles This contains high levels of calcium, iron and protein, and is an excellent herb for nourishing mothers who are feeling depleted.

Oatstraw This is high in calcium and magnesium. It also calms nervous stress and tension, and is an effective remedy for yeast infections.

Alfalfa This is one of the few plant sources of vitamin K (necessary for blood clotting). It also contains eight digestive enzymes, numerous trace minerals and high quantities of vitamins A, D and E.

Chamomile This is a great calming agent and helps with digestive disorders including nausea. It also has some anti-inflammatory properties.

Rose Hips These are a great source of vitamin C and help fight infection and exhaustion.

Back in Buffalo, there was a couple named Cricket and Spider that had been trying to concieve for over 3 years, with no success. We got the entire Buffalo Pagan community together and did a pole dance... I mean a Maypole ceremony, for them.

They sat at the center at the base of the pole while 80 people danced around them, intertwining the ribbons, with the goal of sending them their energy to help them conceive.

Cricket was confirmed pregnant less than a week later.

FORSAKEN, can we get a virtual Maypole going for MSG?

Something I found....

Oh, do not tell the Priest our plight, Or he would call it a sin;
But we have been out in the woods all night, A-conjuring Summer in!
- Kipling

Also known as: May Day, Walpurgisnacht

DATE: Traditionally May 1st. Astrologically, 15 degrees into taurus, near May 5th.

A Spring Rite celebrating the fertility of animals, people, plants, ideas, etc. The
Goddess turns theWheel again. This is the midpoint of the year. The God relinquishes
power to the Goddess and begins his summer slumber. Power moves from the male
back to the female. The Goddess begins here reign as the Maiden.

This is a joyouse happy time....very much the opposite of Samhain.
The phallus of the God, (represented by the May Pole) is reverently plunged into the earth.
This is done to show the earth what we desire (sympathetic magick).
It is a time for planting of seeds and new beginnings.

It is traditional to dance the May Pole, representing the God impregnating the
Earth Goddess, and by weaving the ribbons, we join two substances to form a third
(representative of the creation of life). The Beltane Fire (a fire of passion) is lit in a
cauldron or pit. It is traditional to jump over the Beltane fire for fertility or “good luck”
in the coming growing season. A woman is highly blessed if impregnated on Beltane.
Women wear circlets of flowers. Men wear green circlets. All weaving/plaiting-type
activities are very much appropriate (anything that takes two or more items and
creates a separate thing unto itself).

TRADITIONAL FOODS: dairy items, oatmeal cakes

HERBS: hawthorne, honeysuckle, St. John’s Wort, woodruff, all flowers

Unfortunately, we are nowhere near Beltane, which is technically April 30, not May 1st.

Beltane
April 30
Celebrated as May Day

Marks the emergence of the young God into manhood. Nature flourishes and He is stirred by the abundance of energy. The God desires the Goddess. They fall in love and unite. The Goddess becomes pregnant, which ensures new life after the harvest. Beltane celebrates vitality, passion, love, and desires consummated.

Right now we are between Lammas and Mabon.

Lammas or Lughnasadh
August 1

Is the time of the first harvest, when the plants of Spring drop their fruits or seeds. Summer is waning; the nights grow longer. So too the God begins to lose His strength. He becomes the God of sacrifice, being cut down in the fields. The Goddess watches in sorrow and joy as She realizes the God is dying, yet lives on inside Her as Her child. Lammas is a time for giving thanks for what we have and making offerings of gratitude. It is a reminder that nothing in the universe is constant.

Mabon
circa September 21
Autumn Equinox

Once again day and night are equal. The God prepares to take His journey into the unseen, towards death. This is the completion of the harvest begun at Lammas, when the fields are cleared of their bounty. Nature draws back, readying for winter and its time of rest. The Goddess nods in the weakening Sun, though fire burns within Her womb. She feels the presence of the God even as He wanes.

Well, I came into work today, and we take messages and stuff, right? And sometimes messages need to be held until the next day, so I sit on them and page them out in the morning. Simple, right? Well I got in today and there was a message that needed to be paged out in the morning, only it hadn't been saved properly so I could actually do that, and after asking the supposed "expert veteran" employee for help (only to find out it was her instructions that had muddied it up in the first place) and getting nowhere I re-entered it and she was getting all pissy at this point, when I asked "Hey, why isn't it supposed to go to the on call? Shouldn't we give it to the doctor on call and not a doctor who isn't on call? I thought we weren't allowed to do that."
So she... SCREAMS at me, no kidding starts screeching her stupid head off, swearing and tearing into me, calling me a bitch, accusing me of constantly fighting with her, calling me a bitch again, and she storms out before I've even gotten past the shock. I'm upset, I'm appalled, and I was very tempted to call my boss right then and there and telling her I quit. But I can't do that because if I do I might lose my car. So I wrote her a big-ass note and told her what happened and that I wouldn't put up with that kind of behavior and you had better believe I am turning in a whole huge slew of applications in the morning because I... cannot... stay here. I wanted to leave anyway, but I was going to take my time about it, find a good job and then give notice here all nice and polite. I'm thinking not so much anymore. Damn, seriously, WTF?
And I actually get to use this finally:
Know what the worst thing is? I'm not even supposed to BE here today!

Ouch! I probably would have quit on the first day of that job! Data entry isn't one of my strong suits. But we're not here to talk about me, Personally I would have put her in her place, and subsequently gotten myself fired. That, doesn't seem like something you would do though. I've never had a problem like the one you're having at work, otherwise I'd give better advise! I may suggest McD's for a while until you hear back from your other applications. It ain't the best job in the 'verse, but it's money in your pocket.

Edit: than again, ANYTHING has got to be better than the work(calling it work, cause, it's hard!) your doing now!
