The madness has begun! The fall season is here, which means I'm playing hockey three mornings a week and I have dance classes twice a week after work.

I'm not sure if I'll make it to all of that, but I'll try. I should be fitting into my clothes better soon!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Got in a 3 mile walk at lunch yesterday. Did a 3 mile walk yesterday after work, then worked out with the weights at the gym for an hour.

Today is cardio day!

Hahaha. I noticed that once and it made me giggle.

I've been continuing the biking to/from class and work. Averaging about 5 miles a day. Sometimes I take the bus and other days I ride more, so it balances out.

Work and school have me super stressed out now, so I'm glad I have a little bit of a workout everyday, though nothing would be nicer than the elliptical or running at full speed for an hour. I WILL make it to the gym on Friday. Perhaps even Thursday . . .

Oh! And I just bought a yummy pile of fruit from the fruit stand downtown. Mmmm. Can't wait to eat it.

NICODEMUS

In my explorations of the threads here (being still new and easily confused by the abundance of posting), I came across this one and it intrigues me. I'd like to think I could fit in here, since I'm trying to get into better shape for the upcoming state CFS (country fire service) competitions.

So, my workout today involved running back and forth in a firemans uniform, wielding large hoses (some full of water, some empty) and generally just doing stuff other than my usual effort of sitting at a computer all day.

If you find yourself getting too worked up about stuff that isn't real (RP Threads etc), then go outside, breathe in some fresh air and try feeding the ducks. (Because ducks don't care about your politics, religion, skin colour, choice of music or even your haircut. They like everyone, provided you bring them food.)

Welcome to the fun - fit thread Nicodemus!

Did my 3 mile walk at lunch yesterday. The weather has been sunny and mid to low 70s for the last week here in Richmond, so it is very condusive to walking and hiking.

Hit the gym for cardio yesterday. Got in a full hour workout between the stationary bike, the crosstrainer machine, and the treadmill.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Class and work.

Was going to go for a run after work, but ended up forgetting my running shoes at work.

Spent most of the day bingeing and it felt great. I'll probably regret it tomorrow though. Oh well.

Biked 5 miles for the sole purpose of going to a drag show. It was AWESOME! And the proceeds were going to a primary school in Uganda.

Did the 3 mile walk at lunch yesterday.

Went to the gym and put in 50 minutes of cardio. Had to cut it short as we had a dinner date last night.

I'll be back at it again today.

Men dressing up as women (though one had recently had a sex change to a woman) and performing to fabulous diva music! Headresses and sequins all around!!! There was even a pair of twins!

Biked another 5 miles today. Was going to go play softball at this potluck, but I'm exhausted. Naptime instead.

LOL! I wasn't sure if you meant that kind of drag or like drag racing! I haven't seen either, but I think the stage show sound much more fun!

It's way more fun. I've been to the car races as well. It's just LOUD and makes my head hurt. Though the people watching a car races is pretty hilarious.

Being the AFL grand final today, I spent a lot of it sitting around watching the game on the big screen using the projector we have at the CFS station. But I did get some exercise in the form of kicking the ball around during the breaks. Unfortunately I don't think that makes up for all the BBQ'd food we ate.

Not my best day for consumption/output ratios or the like, but I'll make up for it tomorrow. Going to dust off my bike and see if it's still roadworthy. If so, I'll be seeing how big a ride I can manage without doing myself more harm than good.

Yah, I've sucked lately... *sigh*

But, I got in a set today and forgot to report 3 a little while back.

Here's hoping that I can get back on that horse.

I had planned to get on my bike and go riding today (as mentioned earlier), but mother nature's decided to intervene by bringing on the rain. Well, the day's not even halfway through yet, so I may still get a chance to go riding.

Yesterday I slept until 2 in the afternoon and then continued to be a bum. Today I did way too much homework, which isn't exercise.

But I did finally obtain a pedometer and I'm super excited to wear it during tomorrow's long work shift.

So according to the pedometer that I put on 2.5 hours after my work shift started, I walked 15,094 steps, burned 450 cals doing this, and it amounted to 6.49 miles.

I knew there was a reason for work!
