well, i didn't make it clear, mainly cause i was very tired and lazy last night, but i saw all the adverts on the busses but only heared the trailer - i was looking away from the tv, and recognised voices, but only looked over at the tv when it said 'white noise 2'. I could have been maybe making it up, i don't know - it was only my ears receiving it, thought to be honest the eyes and ears together ain't much more reliable.

But you are right - theres no net trailers, even thought it says its due out early jan for one or both sides of the pond... very strange.

Ah well, ones bound to hit youtube sooner or later.

As for the links i'll check them out in the morning - very weary from the epic battles and grave wounds recieved today. Christmas shopping! Joy!

And i must have wrapped most of the contents of the house by now.

i had a very productive day, now if you don't mind i'm going to go collapse... here.

"Auspicious"?

Speaking of collapsing, my rental SUV, a brand new Ford Explorer with 12 km. on the clock when I picked it up at Vancouver's airport, made it to 15 km. before inexplicably dieing in hellacious traffic. My best guess is that the fuel mapping chip blitzed straight to Alzheimer land, but, really, it could be any number of things that went wrong. Good news: against all odds, a parking spot right gorram there! Indifferent news: the effort required to convince angrily frustrated commuters that they could get on with their eerie-assed lives quicker if they'd only just help me push the car into the spot and out of the middle of the gorram street.

Good thing my ferry booking is for tomorrow.

The good folks at Budget Rent-a-car oughta find me easily enough, as I'm the only one in this internet cafe with luggage crammed into his cubicle.

I was a very good girl today, after only a day of my sister i've been dying to bang her head against something, preferably my mothers head, but i didn't, and was even only a little snarky with them.

I didn't yell, i didn't point out to them that they were gullible fools (my sister wants to go to a spiritualist for 'guidance' which is so funny cause the only thing you ever actually get from a spiritualist who sells their services is a much lighter wallet)and i didn't make pointed comments about her intelligence levels.

I was very very very good, through out their entire conversation, the whole hour, all of it.

I feel i've more than earned my christmas present this year.

Bring it on Santa!

Cozen - that so sucks, good luck with the rest of the journey. Isn't it wonderful how all this technology manages to both not solve the original problems, and create a whole new range of problems to entertain us? Bless.

Ah well, i'm feeling very christmassy, possibly because two of the big helpers through the religion discussion was lots of alcohol and Beethovens Ode to Joy.

But someone bought mistletoe this year, so kisses for you all - quick, get 'em before i'm sober...

I had a very nice day today! Went ice skating with my two friends from high school. The friends I've had the longest! It was much fun. We skated for about 4 hrs and I didn't fall once! We did our yearly catching up chit-chatting. And then we ran a few errands, met up with a husband and went to this wonderful Italian restaurant and had a fabulous meal. They brought us special bread and tasty wine and gave all three of us female-types roses and the waiter complimented me on my Italian (I know two words: please and thank you, but I can say them well) and I had this fantastic dessert that was just fruit and cream but oh so good!

I am full and tired and happy.

My day was not at all ruined by stalkery phone calls from the pacific north west.

stalkery phone calls? What, from the whole of the pacific northwest?

Am i missing something?

Ah, i like days like that, i'm glad you had fun.

I had yummy food yesterday too (well, yummy desert) it was a chocolate mousse with a chocolate sauce centre - i thought i was going to feel really ill by the end of it, but it was so light and just the right sweetness, so if you make it to England again, you and me are going to the nearest Thorntons coffee shop to have the nicest chocolate mousse in the known verse.

But not at christmas, because at christmas there are rather to many ignorant people getting stressed and imparing the chocolate appreciation.

Oh! That sounds like fun.
The playing Barbies with the niece.... not that the manhandling sounds un-fun...... But, I just got back from family time. I got to play Thomas the train with my Nephew. He loves Thomas. He has two Thomas tracks and two Thomas trains. He likes to put them both on the same track. Unfortunately, one runs faster than the other and always comes around and knocks the slower one off. Hey, at least he's not setting them up for head on collisions......yet.

but thats good, my faith in the media is somewhat restored.

Well, Tank engine does sound like the engine for a Tank, more than a train, but yeah we can catch on.
My Christmas? like most other days, some good, some bad. I got to play with my nephew though. He's 3 and I got him some stuff to help him learn, and he liked it. He took to it like nothing else, and he gave me hugs and told me he loved me. True, he doesn't know me well enough to know better, But it's nice to hear anyway. Also, I just this minute got the card and treats from you. you are far too kind. I hope you got all the happy you could stand, and maybe just a little bit more.

oh good, i'm glad it arrived - did the card survive? the gluing was a bit of a disaster - but at least it would have been a nice sparkly shower for you, and your carpet.

i had to go back to work today.

bleaurgh.

but i got back to my sisters tonight and my neice greats me with a great big hug and says 'I love you' 'i'll love you forever and ever' and then 'I really liked my christmas present you got me'

then, after many hugs and 'i love you too' and 'it was my pleasure' etc etc, she turns round and says 'I can't remeber what you got me'.

ain't kids great?

so i laughed and said i got her the my little pony petalhair twisty palace castle salon thing type bit, and she does this great big 'ooooh! Yes! *smacks forhead* of course, how could i forget? exactly like her mother does.

bless.

so yes, my christmas was full of ponys in castles having their hair done.
I was actually a grumpy cow the whole time though - i just felt like barking at people then apologising. I think its to do with something which i shall not go into here, but i went into a shop today and they were selling a temple balm or some kind of aromatherapy thing that's just for grumpy cows like me, to help them lighten up a bit, so hopefully i'll be slightly more chipper at new years.

fingers crossed.

Serenity dearest - is there something you'd like to share with us? (more importantly, is there something you'd like to share with Coz)

Nah, actually, to the girl who love cheesy wotsits with salad cream, that sound kind of appealing - will definetly give that a go!

My brothers left a big pot of jelly beans on the desk next to the computer, and it so hard to resist swiping a few. Infact the only thing stopping me is the fact that i stole two huge chunks of his toblerone (i can't help it! not toblerone!) and he's yet to discover.

I can't help it if he got all the nice sweets for christmas! He shouldn't leave them lying around... he knows i've no will power to speak of...

ah well, when you stop hearing from me you'll know he found out.

If he didn't want you to eat his toblerone, he shouldn't have left it laying around! That's Brother Common Sense 101!!

That reminds me: Sean! I gave my madre the toblerone you sent me (not cuz I didn't like it; I LOVE toblerone!) and she, as I predicted, LOVED it! THANKS!!

And I was nice and shared my wine gums and wagon wheels with my brother. In fact, I accidentally left ALL the rest of the jammie wheels with him. Which kinda made me sad. But I have a few non-jammies left, and 2 whole jars of black currant jam, so I'm still a winner!
