I think there's a reason there are no "Canadian resturants" much like there are no "Dutch Resturants".

You nearly have it. More correct is that there are no Canadians. Rather, there is a loose affiliation of folks from a vast array of nations who endlessly bemoan how they led culturally superior lives back in their old homelands. Not that any of 'em would ever consider returning!

In fact, I would appreciate it if you spiced me with paprika, eh, and witheld the maple syrup.

I've found that I really enjoy Garlic and Ginger. I use them a lot with teriyaki when I go to Crazy Fire. I don't go for the Paprika so much. I really just haven't tried it much though. Maybe next time I hit Crazy Fire, I'll throw some in.

I guess what I meant was, when deciding where to go eat we often think along the lines of "Do we want to go to a Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Thai, Greek, German, Indian, etc. resturant." There just aren't any Canadian resturants here.

From what I can tell, there are about 5 of these resturants, and they are all in Raleigh, or nearby. If there was one in Atlanta that would make D*C even Shinier.

My searches indicate that there is a BD's Mongolian Grill in Tampa, and a HuHot in Orlando. There's a place called "The Real Chow Baby" in Atlanta, not too far from the hotels by my judgement, but not "walking distance". It also looks a bit different, may not be the same kinda place.

Mongolian Grill is one of those japanese steak houses.

Dunno what this Real Chow place is.

If my friend Margaret ever calls me back, I'll ask her if she remembers the name of the restaurant. It's really bothering me now. I can tell you exactly where it is and I remember that there's a sign over the front door and a bar where we waiting for our table to be ready but I can't remember if it was definitely called Crazy Fire or not. This was probably 4 or 5 years ago now, though. Who knows what's changed since then.

Crazy Fire is a Mongolian Grill. You get a bowl and go up to the Buffet style table. You take stuff from the table and pile it into your bowl. Raw meat, Chicken, Shrimp, noodles, whole eggs, tofu, veges from Green pepper and onion and chives to baby corn . All sorts of stuff. Then you add oils and sauces to the bowl, then sprinkle spices over the top (this is where I go with Garlic powder and Ginger, but there are many to choose from including the really hot peppery stuff.
Then you take the bowl to the counter, the guys pick it up and dump it's contents on to a large round cooking surface (looks like a wheel) and they take two large flat blades (one in each hand) and chop it all up and mix it together. (if you put an egg in there they cook the other stuff first, come back and set the egg on top, scoop it up between the two blades, break it, and drip it onto the other stuff, then scramble the egg into the rest.
When it's all cooked, the scrape it onto a plate and add your choice of steamed white rice or fried rice.
Then you eat that. Then you get another bowl, and do it again... It's one price, so you can go back often, even trying small amounts in the bowl with various spices. Or if you're feeling froggy, fill up two bowls at a time and have them cook it all together. I've seen some folk fill one with the veges and oils/sauces and another with their meats/tofu. but it all gets mixed together anyway.

I just like to mix and match and enjoy.

Okay, well, then, the place I went to was different from Crazy Fire. The concept was the same, but they didn't just do rice, they did pastas, too. And they had all kinds of sauces. Asian, Thai, curry, marinara, alfredo. All of it. So, it was kind of more international than Crazy Fire.

Why is today going to be an interesting day?
