I agree, we deserve a great day. I'm so glad it's Friday.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm incredibly simple.

I'm rather complex. Off to work. *Rolling dice*

what worries me is not that she played with it but that she sucked at it.....

ok! I can't help myself! I know i'm a bad person.
I've just been in that frame of mind since i heard about it (when my brother announced he was off round to his friends house to play with his wii)

Really, it is a very silly name.

Has anyone played that nintendogs game? Very silly too - my brothers girlfriend got one from him for christmas, and decided on a boxer called Bob, of course my brother neglects it when he's left to babysit, so the other day i washed, fed and watered Bob and played frisbee in the park (I like those dogs - no smelly gas attacks)I managed to hit a chiuahwa in the head with the frisbee.
But the silliest bit is they've programmed the dogs to do strange doggy things, like when you scratch their ears they lick their nose - its so cute!

But not as silly as the real thing - when you scratch a certain spot on Mollys neck she tries to scratch with her back legs - yup, both of them at the same time.

Big dumb dawg.

I think thats all of my computer type talk done - apart from going on about stuff i'm stalking online waiting for them to reduce so i can buy it, and as its mostly jewellrey, so thats rather more girly than computery wouldn't you say?

Serenity! I found and emerald ring that i actually like! (did i give you this complaint? Emeralds my birthstone, but i don't like it? even though its green, which really can't go wrong most of the time) well i found one that i love - now i'm just waiting for them to reduce it so i can go buy it. Really, they're being very slow in realising it...

oh look, all the boys are asleep... ah well.but hey yes, that was me saying - hey! i made it back at last! and celebrating my return with a bout of waffling on about nothing in particular.

That resurant sounds fun though, but not the Cozen special if you don't mind.
Disturbing Resturant and the End of the Universe type visions.

But everything else sounds grand.

And i was never chased in the playground! Apart from during chasing games etc, so many normal childhood experiences missed out on... I never had my pigtails pulled either, which is something to be grateful for i suppose.

I'm back! i missed you guys... *hugs*

I got to chase and be chased rather a lot at school, though really it tended to end in punching rather than pigtails, so I'm not sure how comparable it is.

No pulled pigtails, Seryn? That's a shame! I got my pigtails pulled all the time! Of course, my hair was alot like it is now, long and blonde, and I really did wear it in pigtails alot. With little ribbons and everything. So, I guess I was kinda asking for it.

I think part of the problem was i rarely had pigtails my mother used to braid my hair in two then tie it up with ribbons, or i just had a head band. Maybe having pigtails would have meant more pulling...

but there you go. Never done - just like i've never skinny dipped or been bought flowers.

Though i can definitely do without the skinny dipping and i realised at twenty i could just buy my own flowers, so nothing lost at all!

Snow! oh, i long for reall snow - we're not going to get any this year i don't think - all our temperatures are up in the 9 to 12's - virtually summer temperature! they were saying the other day that we're getting nights warmer than they were in july. but we did have record hot days and very cold nights in july. But the upshot is, we're getting storms (which are cool - thunderbolts and lightning) but I despair of getting real snow

Like some playground amazon - learning at an early age to go for the eyes!

My mums just got through her latest LOTR bender - all three extended editions over the last week or so, so we just finished the last part (all sixteen endings) and now i'm emotionally drained and my fingers are sore from chewing on them (movies just do that to me despite every effort, and it seems that the twelve hour long battle for middle earth is the worst)

why do our parents do this to us?

but i just feel depressed, really depressed, like i need to go and watch some reallyt stupid comedy to get over it - why do films do that to us? They're all great and beutifully made, and ok a little cheesy, but gorammit they make you care! And then they finish and where does that leave you? its just not right...

ah well, racking my brain for a film with a 100% upbeat ending, any suggestions? Or i might just fall back on gardenstate

*sigh*

I need a hug.

Oh by the way, i'm being mopey and dull (and sometimes very angry) a lot lately, I have reasons, but i'm not sharing them, but if it annoys anyone, just slap me, k?

Oh, so you're doing that thing that when others do it you get really mad at them? Fun! As one of the people who sometimes makes you mad by doing that sort of thing, I get it. No need to share if you don't want to. But you've friends here who will listen if you choose to share. I just hope you get what you need soon. yes i'm doing that thing - which is why i've given everyone permission to slap me as hard as they want ahead of time.
And I could tell you if you wanted me too - I very much doubt you'd like to know the grusome details, I mean, i've no issues any more talking about womens troubles, my mother steadily broke down any squeamishness I might have had during my teens, I could go on about it till your ears bleed. OK

the stuff i've just started using to sort out my, er, *insert euphemism here* is still settling down, and my hormones are a total mess and its turning me into a she-bitch from hell in a quiet subtle way. sadly its a five year thing, so if it doesn't improve its either put up with mopey me for all that time or get it undone and its back to square one... choices, choices...

Oh so that's what that show is about. Well then, I have suddenly decided it might be worth a watch after all. In fact, that makes for a much more interesting plot. Although from the sounds of it plot may not have much to do with it all...
Oh well you know anything to support such a wonderful actor (Cause Nathan Fillion or not a show about car races does not really interest me so much).

Oh well you know anything to support such a wonderful actor (Cause Nathan Fillion or not a show about car races does not really interest me so much).

I don't condone it I tells ya!

Well, I'm sure it will be a great chore for the womenfolk, but going with the self sacraficing theme I suppose I will have to volunteer for this one...
Chore, pah. You all want me, and if you don't I have a tent in your garden and a telephoto lens that says different...

I thought that was you! *waves*

It's a bit cold outside for a tent in the garden. And I don't have a garden to begin with... you could come inside you know. I have cookies!

But, I know that might ruin the fun of the stalking so you know whatever you decide I suppose... did I mention the cookies?

JADEHAND

Hey piratey peeps.

It's time. If you haven't done it, now is the time to get your Dragon*Con '07 arrangements made. I currently have confirmation of my membership (only $50 thru Feb 15th) and Hotel reservation confirmation for 2 bedroom 4 peeps, Thurs Aug 30th- Tues Sept 4th. Same location requirements as last year. LMD, Citizen, Ath spaces are secured if needed. please claim your spots.
5 nights @ $170 = $850 + taxes and such. 212.50 plus taxes for each of us. Plus parking(if you are driving)..which ran about $70 per car last year.
It's possible I may find a 5th person. reducing costs, but please confirm as soon as you can than you plan to attend.

Serenity, If you are arranging the ladies again and need any info, let me know. Also, as Ath likely doesn't read here, would you be kind enough to pass the information and request of his confirmation?

General note, less stressed this time, I'll be less of an @$$.

Cheers and Arrrrr!

I'll pass the info onto Ath, Jadehand, but I'm stepping down from organizing the womenfolk this year. On account of how I am not in need of roomies this time around.

Someone else will have to step up to that plate.

yeah, the car racing thing seems boring as hell to me, but I know with Tim and Nathan that it will be more about the characters than the action (though there'll certainly be that, i'm sure). It's also got that pinch of mystery that'll keep it driving along.

This is a tv show about race cars that Nathan's in? And I'm going to feel obligated to watch it?

*sigh* Why can't the BDHs land rolls that don't involve icky bug-aliens, violence, horror or mind-numbingly boring pseudo-sports?

Ok, Drive is NOT about race cars.
There are people racing across the country in various vehicles, not Race Cars with numbers on them. And saying Drive is about car races is like saying Firefly was about spaceships.
