Weapons? Weapons we can do....

Ok...these may not really count, but even the dolls are armed!

Oh, and I don't really want to hear anything about fingers on triggers, alright? If it gets anyone all worked up, you really need a new hobby. These photos were taken by me, in a house where I was the only person around as fun shots.

Now see? I got get new batteries for mine! Cause I suck at rotoscoping but my green saber (see first pic at top of thread) is way bright in the daylight, but just plain awesome at night.

Last year, we had a power outage for about 8 hours here in Reno, and my daughter and I took the two sabers outside at about 10pm. We held a mock saber battle in the front yard which brought all the kids from the neighborhood down to watch.

It was fun, but my wife forgot to take pictures.

lol I bet that was awesome! I'm jealous of you having a 'real' lightsaber. If I could afford one, you can bet I'd have it. Even if I had to settle for purple instead of gold.

"Did he just go crazy and fall asleep?"

The time has finally arrived. I have pix to share. I take no prisoners, give no quarter (unless I draw first. Get it? Drawn and quartered?) I can kill you with my puns.
Side note: Do not start taking pictures of yourself after allowing the need to take pictures of yourself to build up for a year. (PUPF-pent up photographic frustration) Memory cards--and possibly the viewing audience--will gag.
And before anyone asks, I am not an Albino. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The blinds were more than half closed on the washed out shots. Solar flares. (Plus reading light-as-spotlight=oops!)

Okay first, comes the cast of players. I haven't named a one of them since they've never had a need for one, until now.

Group shot

Wider shot to show the size of the Scythe.

The machete is from my dad and the shotgun was Toni (MsQ)'s dad's. Anybody know what it is?

The bullwhip and knife were my dad's. The whip is a "usable" facsimile to my way of thinking. The "camping" knife is pure kitch. But again, quite utilitarian. Has a compass in the grip which screws off to reveal fishing line and hooks if memory serves. Could be matches. I'll have to check on that.

The flintlock is fake as faux can get but has a an action like a very well made toy gun. The nunchaku are foam-covered trainers, for those of us less graceful than a Roxy with a shopping cart.

And what good are weapons without men of action to use them? Paperweights. So here’s me, wielding ‘em. Sorta.

Shotgun gunshots. (Had fun with the picture naming. Right click the images or “reply with quote” to see them.)

Ready for some jungle action.

Not the leg, stupid; the knife and sheathe attached to the leg. (though it looks like a mighty fine leg if I do say)

Did someone say “Jungle Action”?

For my Ozzie friends:

“That’s not a knife.”

“That’s a knife.”

What well-equipped archaeologists wear.

Combat Ninja footware.

*Please note, what appears to be an ashwood bat modeling a shoe it actually a nekkid JonnyLeg*

Pirate:

Ninja:

My most lethal weapons.

But who needs all that? Not when I have these two guarding the front of the house…

…and these guys guarding the back.

That is all for now and perhaps forevermore. I hope it wasn’t boring. It’s not like to happen again soon, so’s I crammed in a lot. Carry on.

How, uh, sweet? of you to say. Exactly how, huh? Was it the tough as nails expression/posture? The "holy-crap-what-a-geek-does-he-really-think-he-looks-tough" factor? What? "fun/ mad/ nice?" I got a bit bored waiting for Harry Potter last night and decided to play with the camera! Started out with my rather meagre collection of weapons

Then thought you might like to see my more impressive collection of masks I have gathered in my travels:

Then I got more creative with my knife, trying to recreate the sexy but I've come over all shy after looking at the super sexy on this thread. I might be back after a few stiff drinks (the shy me and the exhibitionist me are having an internal battle)
