Does anybody watch EureKa? Cause I am trying to figure out how the Sheriffs wife got there. I mean SECRET TOWN and all.

I don't think the town itself is secret, what they do there IS.

I believe the entrance of which you speak is the entrance to Global Dynamics. I'm fairly sure, because in the pilot episode, Jack and Zoe, drive through the town trying to get home.

OK anyone else? JossisaGod and I could go round and round all night :smile: I SWEAR that in the pilot they end up in the town by accident and that the town itself is hidden.

Well, you are correct in that Jack and Zoe, DO end up in the town by accident, but, I believe that instead of actually being hidden, the town is in the middle of whosville nowhere.

Maybe, we should BOTH watch the Pilot again.

Crap. I started another thread on the 2nd season of Eureka in 'Other Sci-Fi series' section.

I don't know how Jack's ex got to town. She may have made an appearance last season, and got 'clearance' to enter through some check point, but I don't remember. He and Zoe definatly got there initially by accident, having WALKED in after their car skidded off the road. They didn't simply drive in, as was mentioned above. It is suppose to be top secret town, and virtually cut off from all civillian traffic.

I missed the 2nd episode of this season, assuming there was one, on July 17th. Maybe that held some clues ?

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

I think you may be over thinking this. I'm sure that Zoe has been in contact with her Mother in the year that she has spent in Eureka so I'm fairly confident that she has told her where she is living. And I'm also fairly sure that Jack has also been in contact with is Ex. Something tells me that he is not just going to take his daughter away from his mother without telling her where she is. I have no actual hard facts to back my opinion up with, but that is the sense I made by watching the episodes.

It was Allison who drove Jack "off the bridge" to get to Global Dynamics.

I don't think Jack is going to let her take Zoe either. Since she's a Dr. ( isn't it psychiatry ?) she may move to Eureka ( hopefully to replace whats her name the evil psychiatrist).

Child support...the mom makes more and as the daughter is living with dad, mom is likely paying child support and from the first few episodes it appears parents have some form of joint custody so......she has a right to know their location. Sorry just my practical two cents there:)

All I know is that I find this new season pretty dark already, and even more confusing, and therefore intreuging than last season... I pretty much schedual my whole night around 11 o'clock viewing of Eureka, even force my parents to give up the nice big tv in the basement so that I can watch :biggrin:
