CHRISISALL

Well, I am as old as William Shatner was in Star Trek 2.
I'm as old as Harrison Ford was in The Fugitive.
2 years ago I was as old as Tom Cruise is in MI4.
17 years ago I was as old as Nathan was in Serenity.
And I'm only 9 years younger than Jayne Seymour, so there's still the possibility that...

How about y'all?

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

On my next birthday I will be as old as John Wayne was in True Grit.

Yeah, it's kinda depressing.

I thought Summer Glau was born in 1984 which would make her 27, one year older than I, am I mistaken?

Haha..... Nope!

You misunderstood, or I made a mistake :)

I believe Fox was only 32 when he started on the X-Files.

If he was 42 when that show started, he was drinking from some fountain of youth I would probably kill to know where it existed. I'm 32 now and I swear that he would have been at most only 27 when that show started.

Funny how when the X-Files started he was like 15 years older than me. To watch it now and know that he was my age on the first season.......

Well, I don't feel like I'm his age now.

That's the thing about Hollywood....

Every year I get older, but they stay the same age.....

EDITED TO ADD:

Yep... I was right :)

But while checking out IMDB to confirm it I saw an ad for a new Underworld with Kate Beckinsale in 3D!!!!

How could even the most prurient of internet porn out there ever hope to compete with that?

They can't, that's how....

Go see Underworld: Awakening as soon as you can!

If your girlfriend/wife/live in woman thinks it was her idea, all the better, right?

Come on now, Chrisisall.....

You're showing closemindness here that you only see in the RWED

I did a little research for RiverTam1 here.

First I looked up "The Goonies", but unfortunately nobody in that movie was born after 1968. It would probably surprise you to know that "Annie", my second Hollywood crush growing up was actually like 7 years older than Josh Brolan, her boyfriend in the movie...... RT1 would probably know him simply as "W".

I then looked up "The Breakfast Club", and got the same thing. The closest I could get was 1968.

But....

Anthony Michael Hall, which RT1 might recognize today in a season three episode arch of Warehouse 13 was also one of the co-stars of a little movie called "Weird Science", also from 1985... just like The Goonies and The Breakfast Club.

His male co-star in that movie, which were both UBERLY eclipsed by my labido at the time by a 1985-perfect-Kelly Lebrock, was Ilan Mitchell-Smith.

He may not have gone on to do much afterward, but to be a teen actor in the mid-eighties with one of the hottest women on the planet at the time (even though she's like 300lbs today....), I would have done it for free, let alone given my right kidney or testicle.

Going by age RT1, you are cooler than my existing at the same age today as Fox Mulder was when he started chasing aliens on fox.

Sure, nobody your age in Hollywood has any talent compared to our standards, but give it about a decade or so and you'll be thinking the same thing about the "talent" your kids are watching.

EDIT:

And I realize now, just after posting how stupid that all sounds.

I'm older than I thought..... :(

16 now is like 1996....

Who was cool in 1996?

Okay, Book-like sermon sidebar here for the younger folk seeking love:

You are a person, real & whole. You don't need a dude to 'complete' you, however, you might want to choose one (or a dudette- I don't know) to hang with, and that's what it is. You got to like them, first & foremost. As they are, which is what they'll most likely always be.
You choose a person to *change* and they'll shake you off just as sure as a turn of the worlds.

Here endeth the lecture.

Just an FYI from an OLD FFFan.

I could tell her she was like Courtney Love when I was in HS, but I think that would be an insult.

Freaking Goonies probably came out a decade before she was born lol.

Something wrong there. For a start, I'm female, and I was merely making a point as to Summer looking a lot younger than she actually is. Did you think I was a guy or something? I merely look up to Summer as my role model.

Well, I'm 28 currently, so I'm 103 weeks and 6 days younger than Summer Glau (I'm July 11th, 1983 and she's July 24th, 1981).

Being 28 also means I'm...

1) the same age as Heath Ledger when he died soon after finish filming The Dark Knight and in the middle of filming for The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus;

2) the same age Nathan Fillion was when he played Alicia Silverstone's ex-boyfriend Cliff in
Blast From the Past and Father David in Dracula 2000;

3) the same age Adam Baldwin was when he play Gary Busey's subordinate (Adam Baldwin does NOT do lackies) Garber in Predator 2;

4) the same age Mark Hamill was during the tail-end of shooting for The Empire Strikes Back;

5) the same age Sean Connery was when he played the (uncredited) role of a deck hand on the Titanic in A Night to Remember;

6) the same age Gina Torres was when the played Cleopatra (the Egyptian queen, not a precursor to her future co-star Jennifer Sky's role) on Xena: Warrior Princess;

7) 7 years younger than Harrison Ford when he first played Han Solo in Star Wars: A New Hope

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

I am four days older than Georgia Moffett (those of you who have seen the Doctor Who episode "The Doctor's Daughter" and/or are familiar with David Tennant's future wife will know who she is.) And I'm three years younger than Summer Glau. Both of them could probably pass for younger than me, though.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

The only member of Firefly's cast that is older than me is Ron Glass, by 5 years, 2 months and 16 days.

I'm old enough to be the much older brother, or young uncle, of Joss and Adam (approximately 13 1/2 and 11 1/2 years older respectively).

I'm old enough to be the parent of the rest of them. 19 years older than Gina, 21 years ahead of Nathan and Alan, 25 for Sean, 29 for Morena, 31 for Summer and 32 years older than Jewel.

I know Jewel is back in the dating pool, but do you think she'd be interested in someone almost her grandfather's age?
