Like everyone else here, I'd love to see it come to life. Serenity still has a lot of flyin' to do before she's scrapped. But I'm even more excited by the prospect that the Firefly Online MMO game now has a fighting chance. I created my account a few years ago, after the original cast did all their voice work. Once again, Fox managed to put a halt to it and the company behind it had to put it on a shelf. There are legions of Browncoats who have their ships built and have religiously done the trade missions on the app for a couple of years in preparation for what had suddenly become only a dream, much like our hopes of ever seeing the series revived. Perhaps Disney can consider teaming up with the game creators... we all know that no power in the verse can stop Disney, so let's hope...

Joss is at Disney and Tim is at FOX, so you never know. BUT, what Disney is after is "Avatar" and the MARVEL properties. Plus this is a real merger not a take over, old Rupert will end up owning 25% of Disney when it's over. After the merger is over the exces will be busy laying off thousands of employees, not rebooting "Firefly".

Ain't many of us oldtimers still around.

I'm thinking about an animated show as well, but mainly because I wonder if they'd be able to work in the voicework Ron Glass did for the Firefly Online game.
