I have a dilemma.

I have a thought for an outrageous Firefly story and a series, but I want to make sure neither one has been done already, without giving it away and losing the surprise. Can someone with an encyclopedic knowledge of Firefly fanfic write me at chris.bridges (at) news-jrnl.com and answer a few discreet questions? Thanks!

I'd say go ahead and write it. Even if a similar plot has been done, it's unlikely that you'll use the same pov's, and themes exactly.
