Need help with a sig

I wasn't really sure where else to take this post, but since it regards a firefly based creation of mine, I'll start here. If this is the wrong place to ask, please let me know and I will move this post to the appropriate location.

I'm trying to link a .gif I made as my signature, but when I try to view it, it shows up as the Red X of doom beneath my name, as if I've improperly linked it. Anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong, because what I have tried has worked on other forums, which is why I'm not sure it will work here. Here's the gif I'm trying to link.

Well, the first time you linked it proper. The second time it has tags around it, which are not needed on this site. Just the URL. IMG tags are never, ever used here, though HTML is used for the avatars. Any tag that comes up against the site's coding, be it image, bold, quote, etc, will interfere with the address and make it impossible for the site to read. Hope that helps.

I can't still can't see it as a signature, evne though all I have in there is the http blah blah blah. exactly like I have it in the text, that's what's confusing me :P Is that it works as I have it in the text, but not having the exact same URL in my profile as a sig....

Edit: Ok I said it, then when I posted it, it showed up. Well Duh :) Thanks for the help, and I'm glad you guys like the sig hehe, my first ever .gif!
