another "triple play" for an actor in firefly

i was watching an episode of angel where angel goes to the other dimension to confront the beings that worship jasmine. to get there, wesley gets the snot beat out of him by one of the spider-like guys who makes strange clicking sounds and talks with strange grammar. i was curious about the episode, so i looked it up on imdb and found out that they actor who played the spider guy is none other than one of our beloved blue hands guys from firefly. in addition, he was also in a couple episodes of buffy.

in the firefly commentary, they had a term for this, but i cannot remember what it was, so i am just calling it the "triple play". anyway, just some completely useless trivia to share (although the use of the word "useless" in this sentence is a bit of overkill).

I've seen a lot of people make a big deal out of people appearing on all three shows, but they always seem to miss at least one...as far as I've been able to tell, there are four. Joss I think said two or three, Alan Tudyk said something similar, and tvtome.com gives three in the discussion of Serenity, but there are at least four.

1) Jeff Rickets - described in this thread.
2) Carlos Jacott - Dobson, Ken in Buffy "Anne", the husband in Angel "The Bachelor Party"
3) Andy Umberger - the commander of the Dortmunder, D'Hoffryn in Buffy (several eps), the doctor in Angel "I Fall To Pieces"
4) Jonathan M. Woodward - Tracey, Holden in Buffy "Conversations With Dead People", Knox in Angel 5th season

And, in case you're curious, Christina Hendricks (Saffron/Whatever) also appeared in an episode of Angel as a bar maid in a flashback, and I'm sure everyone knows that Summer Glau was in an Angel episode.

Additionally, the guy that played Atherton was Sidney's fiancee in the Alias pilot, Gina Torres appeared in 4 or 5 early episodes of Alias as a Russian spy (seriously), the Alliance Captain from Bushwhacked appeared in several episodes of 24 last year as a hotel security manager (and did very well in the role), the guy who played the cop in The Message was in the first half of the first season of 24, the guy that played Rance Burgess is in the Lost pilot (part 2 at least, which hasn't aired yet), and Richard Brooks, who played Jubal Early, starred in the first three seasons of Law and Order.

This is all from memory, by the way - I just have a head for this kind of stuff.

non-Firefly, but Lost also has Daniel Dae Kim who played evil lawyer Gavin on Angel
