OK. It may have been SignyM who said it directly. The way you two tend to tag-team, and the fact you use the same avatar, I sometimes get you confused.

Quote:

But then your the one who thinks the current situation in Iraq and WWII are the same.

I attacked your point, and trying to compare the Second World War to the current situation in Iraq (which is exactly what you did) is drivel.

And I'd like to see a quote where I do that. I did use WWII as an example in our search for a definition of terrorism, but never said WWII and Iraq were the same. Of course they have some similarities, but so does every war. Big deal.

I'd also point out that I haven't attacked you personally or your character at all, where as you have attacked me personally and my character in nearly every post, and certainly at every oppertunity. Like the final statement of your post, or the proceeding paragraph full of unsupported unsubstantiated accusations.

Lying/Spin/Partisanship/Insulting/Having an agenda to discredit you/twisting the facts being an Anti-American who hates freedom, you know you've accused me of all these things. Many of them in the post I just replied to.

I guess I tend to lump you, Rue and Signym together to save time. In future I'll be more careful to specify which one I believe is calling me a liar, and who I believe is insulting me by accusing me of "Spouting Drivel".

Congrats to all you fake patriots for completely diverting attention from Pentagon's declassified Operation NORTHWOODS treasonous attacks on USA to blame Cuba, and Pentagon's Project PAPERCLIP Nazis, and Nazi Germany's confessed Operations HIMMLER & CANNED GOODS treasonous terrorist attacks on Germany to blame Poland. Plus Pentagon/NATO's confessed Operation GLADIO post-WW2 terrorist attacks all over Western Europe to blame Commie Russia. Plus British Empire's confessed terrorist attacks in Britian to blame IRA and blame Bush and Queen's business partner USAma Bin Laden.

Indeed, it's more validation than I could have expected: I never would have imagined, when I wrote what I believe to be the first mainstream media investigation of Skull and Bones back then (in the September 1977 Esquire), that we would see what I've come to call "the three out of four" phenomenon: If Kerry wins, it will mean three out of the last four U.S. Presidents will have come from the same exclusive and secretive Yale club. Even if Kerry loses, it will mean the White House will have been occupied by a Bonesman for three of the last five Presidential terms."

Since you like keeping score it would seem, I make that one non-insult by me to 8 actual insults by you directed at me.
Quote:

And I'd like to see a quote where I do that.

You are unprepared to back up any of your insults or character attacks directed at me. Once you've done that come back to me.
Quote:

I guess I tend to lump you, Rue and Signym together to save time.

Sorry that's 9, running total. You’re judging me by association, not on merit, very insulting.
Quote:

who I believe is insulting me by accusing me of "Spouting Drivel"

Now I think we're going to have to take this slow here.

Let's use an analogy, say if I said you were acting stupid. That is a critic on your behaviour, not an insult directed at you. The insult would be to say "you are stupid". You see, one is an insult the other is a critic on behaviour. To say "You are spouting drivel" is a critic of your point. If I were to say you are “full of drivel” that may be construed as a personal insult.

In closing if you honestly think that someone strongly disagreeing with what you say is an insult then you need to grow a thicker skin.

Now lastly I believe I apologised for any insult you took for that, despite the fact that no insult was intended or really should have been taken. You’re continuing to bring it back up after my apology is deeply insulting, and extremely childish and immature.

Note I'm not calling you childish and immature, I'm saying you're behaviour is childish and immature. A critic on your behaviour is not a personal insult .

EDIT:

(Ha. My evil plan is working. SignyM, Rue, and Citizen are spending so much time and bandwidth criticising my every utterance that they can no longer provide their vital anti-Bush, anti-American message to the masses. Soon we will...Damn, did I say that out loud? Oops.)

And here we see Geezers true opinion. There is no alternative point of view to Geezer. If anyone disagrees with Geezer they are an evil Anti-American. So Geezer, just so I know what I am, am I an Islamic terrorist too, I'm sure you think so, I do disagree with you after all.

Do you live by the words "You're either with me or your a terrorist?". For me the Jury's still out.

(Please note I'm using your arguments against you here, thought I'd slip that in before you accuse me of anything else. Remember if you accuse me of putting words in your mouth here all you're doing is proving that's what you've been doing all along )

Geezer, let me give you some friendly advice. The reason why you attract criticism is not because of your opinions -as you like to claim -but because of your tactics. In ONE POST alone you used more than a dozen well-known rhetorical tricks- from calling STDOUBT a fascist to putting anti-Bush words in someone else's mouth (someone who had said NOT A WORD about Bush!) You treat every disagreement like a bar-fight: Out come the chains, knives, and beer-bottles!

Now, we KNOW you're too smart to be doing this by accident! You don't make wild claims. You simply stick knives in other people that you disagree with, then you whine about how "Orwellian" people are because they call you on it. My advice? Just discuss the dicussion instead of trying to stick knives in others (metaphorically).

This confirms my opinion that you're a pompous, self-righteous, and entirely predictable prig, lacking even the hint of a sense of humor. We seem to be doing pretty well in the "Why terrorists wil ultimately fail..." thread. Wanna drop this one and keep going there? I'll try to make nice. I'd also really like some rational discussion in the "Bring the troops home...and then?" thread. I really can't see a good solution for that scenario, and am open to suggestions.

You didn't get the irony then, no?

BTW the copy paste removed the emoticons; given the wording I thought anyone could tell it was a joke anyway. But then I thought anyone could tell my own was rather much in jest, guess you can dish it out but you can't take it.

Oh well.

Hmm, Geezer calling someone self-righteous in a thread filled with his self-important self-righteous insulting behaviour.

Does that constitute a joke? Well I find it funny anyway .

Actually this *IS* a personal insult. Now I'll go over it again, if you had said:
You're acting self-righteous and pompous
THAT would be a critic on my behaviour.

I really thought that this was a rather simple and easy concept to grasp but my, you due seem to have a problem with it don't you.

3am, and I'm quite happy thanks, still coming down off the alcohol buzz. I prefer cold beer though, Ale is served at just below room temperature, Larger, what you guys refer to as beer, is always cold .

Yep. Over here you can't get anything on draft that's not just this side of freezing. All right for most American stuff, since you don't really want to taste it anyway, but Guinness?

BTW, "Larger"? But we could probably go on all night, as I've been working on a few mojitos in celebration of the imminent conversion of the US to a hispanic country, and my spelling is probably going souyth (chortle) at an amazing rate. Have a good'un, Citizen, ole chum.

American beer is not good, generally. (There are a few exceptions.) All my friends drink Coors or Budweiser (my Dad swears by Pabst and Old Milwaukee), but I can’t stomach the stuff. It’s like drinking cold piss.

Over here we have Guinness and Guinness extra cold. Guinness is at the correct temperature, Guinness extra cold is exactly the same drink passed through an extra flash cooler. Question is: is your Guinness proper Guinness? Over here we get all our Guinness from Ireland, wasn't always the case but it makes a difference to the taste.

Sam Adams lager or ale is my beer of choice, and has become popular enough to compete with the cold piss beers. However Sierra Nevada is good too. That's what I drank in Memphis, but it’s hard to find around here.

I don’t know any place that serves Guinness on tap around here. If they have it, which is rare, it’s always in a bottle and usually chilled. And my impression was that all Guinness was from Ireland.

True, there is a Czech beer called Budweiser, which is probably where the American Budweiser gets its name. American Budweiser changed its name to Bud to avoid lawsuits, but that was never binding in the US. Essentially, the two beers are different. The Czech beer is, I think, similar to a Czech Pilsner, but the American Budweiser is an American Lager. They are different from Pilsners and Lagers found in Europe, because they don’t use the same hops (in fact, it doesn’t seem like they use hops at all) and they have the addition of corn which, I think, is what causes that sickening sweet taste.

Do you know from experience? But seriously- I've had Guiness from a bottle, Guiness on-tap, and Guiness direct from Ireland on-tap. (Turns out the bartender was one of "the boys" and was doing a little fund-raising on the side.) They weren't the same beer. I don't know how they can call them all the same name. The Guiness from Ireland had an extremely fine foam that didn't rise all that quickly, giving it a creamy texture, and the beer was so filling that I barely finished one. Does anyone have direct comparion experience and an explanaiton for why they were so different?

Miller's OK for every-day, I guess.

Not exactly, it used to be brewed under license in England and a number of other places, though this seems to be changing. It's easier now for Guinness to come from Ireland, it used to be a live beer which is no longer the case.

Budwiser Budvar is the Czech beer. The Budweiser comes from the fact that it is brewed as a beer similar to beers brewed in the Czech city of Budweis, just as beers brewed in Plzeň are Pilsner. Since, as you say, Bud is an American Lager, strictly speaking it can't be a Budweiser .

It's quite nice, brewed with pure spring water from an underground lake, so you can fool yourself into thinking your doing yourself good while getting smashed.

I’m told by the people at the Guinness brewery that Guinness has a very short shelf life, and it does not survive importing to the Americas. Now what that exactly means, I’m not sure. But I’m thinking that Guinness is a very delicate beer, because I’ve experienced similar things to what you are describing. The taste and quality of Guinness varies much more then any beer I know. I’ve drank Guinness in Belfast, Derry, Dublin, Birmingham, London and Edinburgh and they all seem to taste different then Guinness I drink in the US. I’ve even drank it fresh from the brewery at the top of the Guinness Brewery in Dublin. I don’t drink Guinness in the US anymore, because it just doesn’t taste as good as what you get in the UK and Ireland.

As far as “cold piss” is concerned, I’ve never actually had the pleasure, so maybe my characterization is wrong. For all I know, cold piss is better.

Nihil est incertius vulgo, nihil obscurius voluntate hominum, nihil fallacius ratione tota comitiorum.

Nothing is more unpredictable than the mob, nothing more obscure than public opinion, nothing more deceptive than the whole political system.

If your going to drink bottled Guiness try to get the "imports" from Belgium or Nigeria (I'm not joking).
The Nigerian Guiness is 7.5% and the Belgian 8% and will not only happily survive the trip to the colonies but will actually improve with age.

The best U.S. beer I've ever had was something called "Dog fish head Stout" (again, not joking). It's 21% and a damn good piece of kit.

The best beers in the world, however, are probably the Belgian Trappiste Ales which are well worth seeking out wherever you live.
Theres a website in Belgium that ships worldwide (and they do the Belgian Guiness).

Or you could visit the cellar under my house where I've got loads of them. Bring your Brown coat for free admission.

HKCAVALIER

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism--Just as it isn't paranoia if they're really out to get you, it isn't Nationalism if your country really is the best. Recognizing that the United States are superior to every other country on the planet isn't nationalims, it's the facts. We Americans don't really have a choice in our nationalism unless we ignore reality.

2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights--This is spin, because it all depends on which humans you'r talking about. The rights of loyal Americans have never been more important. Throughout the history of intelligence gathering agencies, torture has been unavoidable in extreme situations to protect our people. The current geo-political scene is just such an extreme situation; Americans don't really have a choice, if our way of life is to survive.

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause--Is there a spin-doctor in the house? Again, just because something looks like scapegoating, it might just be the truth. There actually are quite a lot of waterfowl that look and sound like a duck, but they're actually greebs and loons, etc. The Terrorists aren't scapegoats, they're ruthless killers that we must hunt down. Americans don't really have a choice, if our way of life is to survive.

4. Supremacy of the Military--Again, all you need to do is take your Pinko-tinted glasses off and take a good hard look at reality! In order for our way of life to survive, we must have military superiority; Americans don't really have a choice unless we ignore reality.

5. Rampant Sexism--holy moly, is this what it feels like inside a washing machine? The spin never ends! I got two words for you: Condi Rice. And if Dreamtrove is right, in two years we'll have the first woman president in U.S. history!

6. Controlled Mass Media--This is a time of War! Americans don't really have a choice about censorship--Osama watches T.V. too!

7. Obsession with National Security--I think I may have had a little too much to drink last night, 'cause everything keeps SPINNING! A little obsession with National Security in a time of War is necessary. Americans don't really have a choice, if our way of life is to survive.

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined--In a time of war, it's necessary for people to seek security in tradition. Governments are made up of people, so in a time of war our government will naturally become more traditional. Religion is simply traditional in America. Wishing won't change that. Americans don't really have a choice, when it comes to what is and is not traditional values.

9. Corporate Power is Protected--Hello? In case you haven't noticed, our economy is down and we're in debt up to our eye-balls to China! Corporate Power is all we got to turn this puppy around! Americans don't really have a choice, if the country is to return to her former glory.

10. Labor Power is Suppressed--because there has never been a single, more corrupt institution in our country's history than unions. Americans don't really have a choice unless we want to tolerate corruption.

11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts--Oh, no, what we need is Ben Affleck and Britany Speares on the '08 presidential ticket! Since when did Intellectuals and Artists become important politically? Reality is finally catching up to Ed Asner's ego. The Hollywood Dream Factory, is just that: a factory of dreams. Fantasy or Reality: Americans don't really have a choice these days.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment--I've got my old Dead or Alive C.D. on repeat: You spin me right round, baby! What is it with you people and "obsession?" If someone's got a gun pointed in your face, isn't it time to get a teensy bit "obsessed" with your own survival? Isn't "obsession" a lot like "focus" or "finally taking reality serious enough to do something about it?" Americans don't really have a choice, if our way of life is to survive.

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption--This is a critical time in U.S. history. The President needs people around him whom he can ABSOLUTELY trust! This is such a no brainer, I don't even know why it's on the list! Americans don't really have a choice, when our President's security is at risk.

14. Fraudulent Elections--Yeah, tell it to JFK.

15. Supression of Free Will at Every Turn--In fascist nations Free Will must be undermined as a value or even a reality. Paradoxically, in order to justify the fascist state's oppressive tactics, fascists must believe stongly in their utter powerlessness against external circumstances. Like all abusive entities, a fascist nation must believe that it's really the biggest victim in the world--"Look what you made me do!" Fascist governments and their supporters therefore, frame every debate as a life and death struggle--to the Fascist, liberalism is a pure luxury. Fascist governments must maintain a level of terror in the hearts and minds of their people, so their people don't think they have any choice other than to live as fascists or die as free men and women.

(My appologies to those here who don't know me well enough to understand that my first 14 points are in no way sincere.)

Hey, hey, hey, don't be mean. We don't have to be mean, because, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

U.S. Patriot Citizenship Act of 2021.

Population Replacement?

Perhaps 62 million AT THE VERY LEAST...added to the country of the United States by 2031.

Biden's immigration plan would add 37 million new immigrants over 10 years?

https://hooktube.com/watch?v=Z1osgoEOrdo

There was a vid "Immigration, Poverty, and Gum Balls", Roy Beck, director of www.numbersusa.ORG

But it doesn't end there!

According to Dr. Steven Comarota, www.cis.org , the USA absorbs 500,000 illegal aliens annually. With 10 more years, we are talking at least 5.0 million more bodies added to our country. Now its up to 52 million added illegal aliens, refujihadis, rapefugees, invader criminals, asylum seeking economic migrants and refugees.
