KANEMAN

How on earth this media whore, racist, and blatantly hypocritical brown bag of feces can have any political power is beyond me. Are black people really this dumb?

Just a few examples of Sharpton's wisdom.....

Tawana Brawley Controversy
In the Tawana Brawley case, a 15-year-old black girl was found smeared with feces, lying in a garbage bag, her clothing torn and burned and with various slurs and epithets written on her body in charcoal. Brawley claimed that she had been assaulted and raped by six white men, some of them police officers, in the town of Wappingers Falls, New York.

Attorneys Alton H. Maddox and C. Vernon Mason joined Sharpton in support of Brawley. A grand jury was convened; after seven months of examining police and medical records, the jury determined that Brawley lied about being assaulted by the police. Sharpton, Maddox and Mason accused the Dutchess County prosecutor, Steven Pagones, of being one of the perpetrators of the alleged abduction and rape. The three were successfully sued for slander and ordered to pay $345,000 in damages, the jury finding Sharpton liable for making seven defamatory statements about Pagones, Maddox for two and Mason for one.

Crown Heights Riot
The Crown Heights Riot occurred after a car accident involving the motorcade for the Lubavitcher Rebbe killing a young boy, Gavin Cato. A riot was sparked after a private Hasidic ambulance came to the scene and, on the orders of a police officer, removed the Hasidic driver from the scene. Gavin Cato and his cousin Angela were picked up soon after by a city ambulance. Caribbean-American and African-American residents of the neighborhood then rioted for four consecutive days fueled by rumors, that the private ambulance had refused to treat Cato.

Sharpton became the de-facto representative for the Cato family. During the funeral he referred to "diamond merchants" considered a code word for Hasidic Jews, for shedding "the blood of innocent babies" leading marchers shouting "No Justice No Peace". A visiting rabbinical student from Australia by the name of Yankel Rosenbaum, 29 years old, was killed during the rioting by a mob shouting "Kill the Jew".

Freddy's Fashion Mart
In 1995, Sharpton led a protest in Harlem against the plans of Freddy's Fashion Mart, a Jewish-owned clothing store, to expand into a black neighborhood, displacing a black retailer. Sharpton told the protesters, "We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business." Three months later, an armed protester forcibly entered the store and burned it down, killing himself and seven others. Sharpton distanced himself from the crime, claiming the perpetrator was an open critic of the civil rights leader and his nonviolent tactics. Nonetheless, Sharpton later expressed regret for making the racial reference, "white interloper," though he denied responsibility for inflaming or provoking the violence.

LoanMax spokesman
In November 2005, Sharpton appeared in advertisements for LoanMax, an automobile title loan company. Sharpton was criticized for appearing in the ads, as LoanMax has been accused of predatory lending charging fees, and for marketing them to primarily poor, urban and African American audiences. The ads featuring Sharpton were run in predominantly African American markets.

On December 7, 2005, he ended his relationship with LoanMax. In a letter to Rod Aycox, LoanMax president and chief executive officer, he said, "I respectfully, but firmly decline your offer for further engagement on my part, and will not engage in any business relationship to promote auto lending with LoanMax." Sharpton said he had not done the research before agreeing to the commercials.

Duke Case
"I think that there are certainly a lot of racial factors. Whether it is directly in the case, we'll see, because some reports said that there was racial language used. But I think that when you look at the racial atmosphere, when you look at the fact that there again were the allegations of racial statements, when you look at a lot of people feeling that they have been treated differently, where this girl has basically had a character charged in the media, there is a lot of racism that's in the air. Having said that, I commend a lot of the blacks and whites who stood vigil and to come together in that community to stand up for this girl. So I think in the midst of this, there is some good."

Hilarious......

Lynching a black man.

How.... quaint.

AND YOU. You're doing the same as Sharpton: inciting racial violence. What should we do with you?

You're a hate-filled man, Kaneman. So full of hate it displaces everything else: reason, justice, humor, imagination, empathy, intelligence, hope. I can't imagine what you're like in real life and I feel sorry for anyone whos's close to you, if there is such a person.

Loosen up Sigyboy. Inciting racial violence? What, with a thread title? Surely you are kidding. If not you are a bigger nutbag than I previously imagined....Now, if you want to comment/defend the Sharpton crap, go ahead... if you can.......Good day

P.S.
There happen to be many people that are 'close' to me....I'm writing this on a train. There just happens to be a hottie right next to me. If I keep playing my cards right I may get a chance to nut in her face.....Now you don't have to imagine.

Very funny.
Ours? What I'm white now? And how does pointing out that Sharpton is an ass...make me one? Sigy attacks me - I make a joke. Bad Kaneman, how does that work? If it is about nutting on the girls head that you don't like, I would suggest you take an inventory of your balls, I have a sneaky suspicion you don't have any........Well, could be true......

Memo to the Media

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are not the only black people in America, and more than that they do not have the ability to force themselves onto your news shows. There's a pattern here:

1) Bigot eruption somewhere
2) Lots of people condemn it
3) Al Sharpton goes on every teevee program
4) The media people turn around and use Sharpton's past as a distraction/excuse for the current bigot eruption

If Al Sharpton is an imperfect spokesperson for an issue, and you keep putting him on the teevee to be the spokesperson for that issue, then the obvious conclusion is that this is a deliberate strategy.

Lynching is so 1950's; I prefer to shame them by exposing their actions for what they are. Gandhi knew this to be the best way to bring down nasty people. keep up the good work, KM, we need more free thinkers around these parts

BB, that only works if your opponents are capable of feeling shame, which means when you are dealing with sociopaths, that's a dead end.

Even Ghandi knew that, and knew the only recourse in such case.

‘‘Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest.’’— Mahatma Ghandi

It cannot be said enough, those who do not learn from history, are doomed to endlessly repeat it

*EDIT* Found this one too.

Good point, as a humanist I seek Bapoo's teaching as a source of guidance. But even when discusseing Singh's forgiveness for mutiny he shunned the notion of violence in favor of non aggression.

I would think that sharpton is capable of feeling shame but you never know

I would be willing to bet that if the media had refused to carry Revs. Jackson and Sharpton's comments on the Imus issue, they'd soon end up having to cover charges that '...the media muzzles Black leadership's reaction to on-going racism in America.'

So the only options are: have Sharpton or Jackson on your show or have no one on your show?

In other words, there are no other black people in America with an opinion on the topic that organizations could book on their show?

* edited to add: There are more than two black people in America who could be considered leaders. On a national level there are Senator/Congressmen/Congresswomen and there are prominent academics, authors and media people. So the claim that if you don't invite Sharpton or Jackson on your show then you are ignoring black leaders rings true only if you invite no one else.

The media LOVES Sharpton & Jackson because they're always guaranteed to have a vile race-baiting element to their agendas, and that sells news.
Where are the real Black leaders in America? Bush made Powell & Rice two of the highest officials ever to hold power in America, but many in the liberal media could only fire back with calling them Uncle Toms & house niggas...real nice!

Not until someone else in the Black community steps up with another message. Bill Cosby tried, but the "blacks as victims" lobby shut that down pretty quick. What you got now is the Jesse & Al show or the Thug Life gangstas. Condi Rice and Colin Powell can't step up because they're (gasp!) Republicans. Barack Obama wants to be "A Democratic Contender" not a Black man.

I'd really like to see someone come up with a message other than "somebody owes us for the past" or "we gotta act like crooks to be real". The Black people I've worked with and for all my life don't act that way, but no one seems to speak for them. They just go about making their lives like everyone else.

I suspect that the K-man is pointing out, in his own inimitatible manner, that it's unfortunate that there is no one of national stature, other that Rev. Al and Rev. Jesse, who says that they speak for the Black community. He undoubtedly wishes that there was someone else less self-serving to bring forward the societal concerns of Blacks in America.

You have to understand the cultural subtext in relation to the meta-mythical meme of the ur-worldview. It's very complicated and has to do with the capitalization of the word "SHOULD".

That apologize to Al Sharpton is great. Had some fun with that at work. I don't hate on Al as much as I do Jesse though. They're both monsters though and I feel sorry for all of the black people I've known in my life who have useless racist ass hats like that and useless neutered gangsta rap caracatures like 50 cent and convict sport stars like Tank Johnson representing them. Then you get a decent man like Bill Cosby saying intelligent and uplifting things.... racial healing things, to not only his own people's children but my people's children as well and they pin a scandal on him by having some whore come on the news and tell everyone that she tried to rape him.

It's fucking sick.

By the way Kaneman, did you do that to your name or did some mod tag you? You're the second person I've seen with that tonight.
