Iranian Leader: Bush Will Be Tried...
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says the U.S. President will one day face a courtroom over the Iraq war just like Saddam.

Now who's swapping talking points with who? I'm a'gettin' all cornfused these days.....Is this the New Democrat Leader? When did he replace Dean? or was it Reid? They all sound the same.
...Oh..excuse me?...what's that?...Oh I see...so he's actually a Democrat nominee for President you say...hope there's enough room on the stage for him at the next Democrat debate; the one which will be online with the Al Qaida website as host, keeping in iine with their previous web hoster Daily Kos.

Are you sure...I thought he said "Bush will be tired."

Maybe its his accent...or that I don't speak Farsi...

"Tried"is ازموده ، ازموده شده ، در محك ازمايش قرا" گرفته"

"Tired" is "خسته ، سير، بيزار، خستگي ، باخستگي"

So you can see how you got it mixed up...

His speech today was indeed in Farsi, but fortunately Dennis Ali Kucynichadad has been taking a correspondance course in Farsi for 17 years and was able to translate....the refresher course he just had with his Syrian pals really helped.

Khamenei is dreaming.

That doesn't sound like any top democrats I've heard.

Impeachment is "off the table."

Still, I reject your attempt at equating those who would call for impeachment with fundamentalists.

Just because khamenei says Bush is a war criminal, it doesn't make it untrue.

Just as you and I agreeing the sky is blue, doesn't make me a water carrying lacky apologist for the Bush administration's every blunder.

One instance of being right doesn't make Khamenei a liberal. Granted, its a better track record than Bush.

Are you saying the Khamenei says the sky is blue? Cause if he is then we might want to double check. Him being a dirty, lying sack of racist anti-semitic shit and all.

As the matter of fact I think that the fact the Khamenei says it is prima facie evidence of it being untrue. It creates a rebuttable presumption against the truth of the matter he is asserting...much like Howard Dean. In fact, were Howard Dean and the Kha-fed ever to completely disagree on something then the exact place they're disagreement meets would open a gateway to other worlds similar to the one on Stargate. In fact I believe they used something similar to open the gate and defeat Annubis in season 3.

Ooooo, a circle-jerk! I'm IN!

We must bomb that bastard, for his words manifest an imminent threat to U.S. soil- and I fear we now know where the fabled WND are, in Iran's hot little dirty-little-brown-people-like hands!
Kudos to Bush for not craterizing the whole mess at once, that shows SOME restraint, boy!
We'll get our foothold in the Middle East, those little Farsical punks can't stop us, and they'll love us in the end, when we bring them peace and prosperity!
Liberals say (whiney voice) "Well if peeps from another country blew into your house, threw all your stuff around, and left a grenade on your kids bed to play with, you'd learn to hate 'em too...."
Well, EFF that, that's a situation I'll never have to face, dickwads! Thanks to dudes like Bush!!
And Iraq is getting better by the minute, don't you read the reports?
Eat shiite, Liberal dogs!

Can't resist a circle Chrisisall

HKCAVALIER

No, no, you've got it wrong. When he said, "Bush will be tried" he meant that when he's done with being our Pres. they'll try him out over there. He has, after all, given Iran a substantial leg up in their long term goals in Iraq.

Last I checked, Bush's poll numbers over there are approaching Thompsonesque levels. Sources close to Ahmadinejad say he's worried. When Bush was asked if he had any intentions of running in Iran, he had this to say, "As I figger it, the I-tolya ain't much differnt from Papa Falwell--they're both tough god-fearin' sumbitches. 'Sides, I like bein' President and Dick says I can't run no more over here."

HKCavalier

Hey, hey, hey, don't be mean. We don't have to be mean, because, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Bush certainly is a criminal, but I doubt very much he is going to be tried anytime soon.....

Did anybody else catch the scary undertones of those statements though? It's things like this, and the fact that China is getting strong enough to tell us to fuck off when we talk about boycotting their products for quality control concerns that have me worried that there are a whole lot of people on the other side of the globe who are pretty confident that we'll be nothing more than another chair at the UN....

Rue the day that that comes, because there isn't a chance we'll have any of the freedoms that we have today when we're on an even playing field with China and Russia.

We desperately need some leadership in this country who will end the polarization before we devour ourselves and allow China and Russia to trounce us.

I'll be dipped, PN does at times find the most interesting things. A link to the 'House' page for the articles of impeachment:

http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c109:1:./temp/~c1092Paq73::

Did the 'conventional' news even 'blip' this on the radar?

No co-sponsor; does not seem to have come up for a vote. Probably DOA.
