Hmm, I've seen lingerie commercials that are more revealing, but I'm glad Mr. Paul is getting some attention.

Sure. And it must be that same guy in Utah that raised $1,200,000 for Dr. Paul in 7 days via small individual contributions this past week....nope...try again....Or maybe he clones himself to cheer wildly at all the rallies and debates...nope....try again...maybe he's runs around the country hanging Ron Paul Revolution signs....Well, it can't be true........Read what I just wrote....again...once more....good day

You would have an easier time trying to sell RP supporters as 9/11 truthers

What's up statist...is RP putting fear into the heart of a "Bill of Rights" shit-oner....Fucking court cunt. Go be a defense attorney......Well, it's true.... Go read YOUR constitution, fuck your boyfriend, read the "Bill of Rights" again, ask your self about police misconduct, ask your self about PC, and then fuck off........ Yeah.... I saw this girl a week or two ago when a buddy at work who knows I'm all for Paul sent it to me.

I thought she'd do nothing but detract from RP's chances, so I didn't bother forwarding it to anybody I thought might actually vote for him. If anybody knows any hormone ruled idiot kids that watch "Chose or Lose" on MTV, feel free to forward the RP girl on to them and maybe we'll get some converts.

I do like the "Stupid Fucking Bees!" comment though. Not sure if you put that video up, cause I'm at work and I didn't look.

Ron Paul is actually Dennis Kucinich's half-brother. They were both concieved in adjacent petri dishes in an experimental lab set up by aliens from the planet Asshole decades ago. No one knows whatever became of these inquisitive visitors from space, but their progeny on Earth has valiantly kept alive their legendary reputaion for being total assholes, in the finest tradition.

Hello Jong,

I actually like Ron Paul. Haven't noticed any tendency on his part to be an 'asshole.'

Kaneman,

Your post was offensive and rude on multiple levels. I don't know what inspired you to post such a diatrabe, but such language and attitude can't possibly support your position.

You're so funny. I get it...especially after that part about people fearing Ron Paul...like people even know who Ron Paul is. He's the funny looking guy with big ears from Cleveland that keep interrupting Hillary, John, and Barrack? No...he's the Republican crazy-talker...not the Demorcatic one.

Ron Paul is like Ross Perot without the money, sanity, and charisma. He's the MSNBC of Presidential politics...out there, making noise, but I don't know anybody who's watching.

I haven't really decided on that yet 6ix. I honestly don't really have the stomach to vote for any of the leading candidates yet. I'm still in post-election shock over what George W. & his gang have done to squander away all the gains it took the Republican Party 40+ years to build.

Really? I've only seen one Republican debate & Ron Paul made a fool of himself in my opinion. He speaks and thinks like an isolationist...thinks we can just ignore the rest of the world....sounds completely clueless on subjects like "global" markets, and defense matters.

Hello,

I don't know that Ron Paul is a 'true' isolationist. He still wants to do business with other nations, but he does believe that military intervention in foreign lands should be kept to a bare minimum. From what he has said, he seems to believe that our military presence beyond our borders creates as many problems for us as it solves.

The CIA seems to agree with much of his premise. In short, "Leave People Alone." We don't need to police the world, and the world doesn't want us to, anyway.

But I am MUCH more interested in his desire to shrink the Federal government to a small fraction of its former self, and concentrate heavily on individual freedoms.

More critical minds saw something else in that debate and the truth of Dr. Paul's words struck a chord with libertarians, republicans who've become ashamed of their party, and democrats who still respect freedom. Those who have watched that debate and thought about it much at all have called Ron Paul the winner, not for strategically placed sound bites and fake indignation, but for his earnest appraisal of just how badly the neo-cons have fucked things up.

I find it fascinating to see the GOP loyalists trying to downplay Ron Paul. Granted, I think the support for Ron Paul online is higher than the support for Ron Paul nationwide (proportion wise). But that's a far cry from no support, which is what the party loyalists are trying to preach. I personally think that Ron Paul is threatening because he appeals to a not insignificant chunk of the coalition that the GOP used to ride to national dominance. The South Park Republicans. The people who mainly supported the GOP because they thought the Democratic Party would take away their guns and raise their taxes but are sick and tired of the great big steaming pile of crap that the national Republican Party dropped while they controlled all three branches of government (Oh, who are we kidding, they're still shitting all over us as we speak).

Ron Paul is scratching an itch that exists. It's an itch that the national GOP is hoping they can ignore long enough to get through the 2008 elections with their coalition intact. I hope they are not successful because, to me, the last thing we need are Republicans with more power. They're guaranteed to screw me all the time. The Democratic Party just screws me most of the time.

But I got off on a tangent. The reason why I posted in the thread, and specifically in response to Hero, is that I saw a Ron Paul Revolution banner on a freeway overpass here in the Silicon Valley today. In October. Of 2007. Somebody is getting inspired by this candidate. And it's not just that one guy in Utah with the twitchy finger.

My ol' man may vote for the first time in years for Ron. He never even heard of Ron Paul until I started talking about him. My gram, who is a hard core repbulican, is sick of their shit and wants a change too. Thankfully, I think she's as afraid of Mr. 9/11 as she is of Clinton or Obama. I don't think I've cracked her yet, but I do believe that there is a very good chance she will be voting for Ron Paul as well.... All I have to do now is get her to stop watching Fox News 24/7......
I swear, that is all that she watches. Any time I visit her it's the only damn thing on her TV.

Hillary worked to defend The Black Panthers, and she is a total Socialist. Obama is really just a media-created, no-record, do-nothing pretty-boy politician...and every time he opens his mouth he sounds more like a moron than one would think possible.
I guess I'd have to say that I support Guiliani. I think his track record of achievement far exceeds any of the other candidates for either party. I don't really see any negatives about him, although I'm sure folks here will raise some.

OK Sarge...let me see if I get your "rationale" for once again insulting me :
a) I watch a Republican debate
b) I hear Ron Paul speak, and digest and comprehend what he says
c) I post here that I think he's an isolationist fool who is utterly clueless about the realities of the big world we live in
d) You then choose to accuse me of swallowing a bellyfull of Fox

That is dis-honest and argumentative. Thanks a lot.

Heh... didn't realize you were so sensitive. My apologies if you were insulted.

But my post was quite honest and if it was argumentative it was only to counter the bullshit put forth by Giuliani and Fox news and, unfortunately, you in your post. The notion that Ron Paul was foolish in his statements is not supported by the facts, which show Giuliani to be the clueless one. Seriously, go back and watch that debate again and tell he who made a fool out of himself. It wasn't Dr. Paul.

As far as Ron Paul, I see him quite differently than you, and that's ok.

Nice statement of RP's position on the war:

Personally, I consider Giuliani's comment a 'cheap shot' which deliberately misinterpreted RP's statement.
