It is my understanding that the idea of planes being flown into the World Trade Center has been well established since the people who correctly predicted the method by which the World Trade Center bombing would be carried out sat down to ask themselves, "How will the next attack come?"

As such something having planes fly into the World Trade Center is hardly remarkable, it was the expected means of attack anyway.

SignyM, I know exactly what you mean. I watched the LGM back when it was on F*X. This was the little splinter in the back of my mind on 9/11. Something felt a little familiar, but I probably would have dismissed those feelings, even if I could focus on anything from 6 months before.

Bought the DVD in 2005. Couldn't remember too many specifics about the show, except maybe the "electro shock treatment" Eve gave the guys in the election/baby episode (and yes I watched The X-Files).

But after I saw the Pilot episode I got *really* freaked out. I kid you not, I pulled out my bulletproof vest, 'cause I thought government stealthy people would've been tracking me since I made the purchase, let alone kill me for "learning something".

After a couple of hours of nobody trying to kill me, and some laughs from the show, I realized that govt probably didn't really care about me.
Kinda took the fun out of it.

I was just so weird. The longer I watched it, the further my jaw dropped. And considering it was aired March 2001 - almost exactly six months before 9-11.... Whoever wrote that script, maybe the CIA should borrow their crystal ball.

There are apparently three schools of thought on government involvement in 9-11

1) Let it happen.
2) Make it happen.
3) What happened?

I used to be in the "Let it happen" camp. The govt knew "something" was about to happen but didn't know what. I recall- as many do not- that the government had actually issued a warning one month before about terrorist acts and the State Department had issued an advisory against travel to the Mideast. In my mind, nothing separated us from the Cole and embassy bombings. And if that would occur to me... and I'm just a lowly peon... surely it must have occurred to several people who are paid to think about such things.

But given that the so-called "Patriot Act" was written six months before 9-11 and the third collapsed building was never impacted by either plane (or by debris) I'm really beginning to wonder.

That came out of the whole Bojinka mess, complete with a lot of butt covering, hogwash and speculation, but the basic framework of the plot was there, yes.

Youself did not originally cop to it, it was a bunch of other evidence, ironically gathered legally and with the proper warrants and procedures, and when confronted with it in a by-the-book non physical interrogation, then he did spill, yes.

And STILL, for all the money, for all the stolen freedoms, handed the plot on a silver platter in living color, those intel agencies were too incompetent to stop it - sounds like a case for disbanding them to me.

But oh, wait... perhaps they were too busy covering up the fact that their own planted informant provided the plans, explosives and wired the bomb FOR these guys, and was ordered NOT to disable it back in 1993.

Which didn't work cause he suspected a rat and taped the conversations.

If you cut away the bullshit and the excuses, basically the WTC 1993 bombing was induced, supported, and executed BY the very folk supposed to protect us from this crap - and that is a very telling point, muchlike a fireman who commits arson to give himself something to do, these guys have long since gone off their rocker.

As for 9-11...

I don't know, but I want ANSWERS to these questions.

#1 Who made those stock trades earlier that day ?

#2 If building 7 was "pulled" then WHEN were the charges wired and by WHO ?

#3 Why were some folk advised in advance via the Odigo message service and where did those messages originate ?

#4 Why was the illegal dragnet surveillance going on 7 MONTHS prior to 9-11 ?

#5 Why was the Patriot Act introduced so quickly after, and has any investigation into possible foreknowledge by it's authors been done ?

And you ain't gonna get THOSE answers from some yahoo your boys grabbed in Iraq who's probably nobody, who even if he WAS part of some group is just a footsoldier as clueless as any grunt ever is of the big plan.

You want THOSE answers, you're waterboarding the wrong people, cause the answers to those questions, whatever those answers are, originate right here in the offices of people who's supposed job it is to prevent this crap.

But yanno, isn't it kinda funny how even though it costs more of our freedom, more of our rights, and more of our money every year, they somehow still manage NOT to do it ?

You ask me, if we're lookin for threats against the safety and freedom of the people of this country, yer lookin in the wrong direction.

I will repeat here the statement I made on another board on 9-13-01.

"What I want, folks, is ANSWERS, and dammit yes, I want heads on stakes, and I want most especially THE RIGHT ONES - charging in willy-nilly is gonna blow up in our faces, piss off everyone, and not get the job done."

Some extremists in some pissant country thousands of miles from here didn't pass the Patriot Act, spy on us for 7 months, and after, nor did they assault our rights and freedoms.

Our own people did that.

At the bottom of it, it boils down to ONE question with me.

Who's the greater threat to "America" and all it stands for ?

I say we haul out the waterboard and take it down to Langley, and I would lay good coin on the possibility that you'd find out more that way.

Maybe even... everything...

Except it was. Pictures of the building show half of it was torn to shreds prior to collapse. Sure, from one angle the building looks untouched, strangely enough those are the only angles the conspiracy sites will show...

That's the rub, Cit...

They claimed to have pulled it, and if the possibility existed that it could have fallen onto nearby occupied buildings and caused further damage or injury, I got zero problem with that, especially as a command decision given the situation.

But if so, why not just admit it ?
If someone went in there and wired the place as it was threatening to come down on their heads, they deserve a fekkin medal, you know ?

I got trouble buyin a total collapse into it's own footprint given the damage (yes, I've seen it from all angles) if it was gonna come down it woulda done so in the direction the support was weakened - further making the case FOR taking it down.

The issue comes with the severe lack of forthrightness or honesty by the folks charged to investigate, and doesn't exactly engender trust - not to mention a dearth of facts makes folks like PN dance with glee, especially when the stories contradict the evidence so severely.

I don't know, I doubt we'll ever know, if it comes out at all, it'll come out years and years later like "Remember the Maine" or the Gulf of Tonkin incident and all those other lies used to shaft us in past times, and knowledge of historic patterns gives me a dim and suspicious view of the matter as a whole.

We're askin the wrong questions, and we're askin em of the wrong people, to get any answers about this, in my opinion.
