I've been finding alot of articles lately coming from Britain. In a sense, I guess its a good thing. They are sort of an experiment in what happens when you take away the rights of people.

Its also a grim reminder of what can happen here if we don't prevent it.

That's insane. Most cars won't start if they have to keep starting their engines without time to recharge on the highway.

Every traffic light is a traffic jam. Will drivers be required to stop their engines at traffic lights, if they don't have a hybrid?

British drivers are very sheepish. Very few fight traffic tickets in court - less than in USA?

This is why I now fight every traffic ticket of any kind. I will never again "plead guilty" to a traffic "crime" (alleged breach of unconstitutional civil driver license contract).

If a ticket lacks personal service of process, like Gatso robocop tickets and parking tickets, I ignore the ticket and ignore the court. These frivolous traffic-jam tickets fall into that category.

Or you can do what cops do, and beat the crap out of any "traffic warden" that tries to give you such a ticket, or shoot them (robocops).
www.piratenews.org/kill-robocops.html

All traffic cops, prosecutors, judges and politicians are career criminals, according to their own laws. That's why they get virtual immunity to their own laws. The laws are designed to only apply to slaves.

Now that Great Britain has caved in to their Muslim population and is now recognizing Islamic Sharia Law, imagine all the fun stuff coming soon.....

When Sharia Court sentences a girl to be stoned to death for standing next to a boy, they promise to still respect the traditional afternoon tea break. Stoning resumes immediately after the last scone is consumed and their mouths are wiped with a doily cloth.

When a girl is raped by her father and brothers and she becomes un-clean, the Sharia Court is limited to a maximum of 799 lashes by the whip. And they promise to cover her bloody, laid-open bare back as to not offend the nearby children too much.

When 2 men are convicted by Sharia Court of homosexual activity and are sentenced to hang in public, the new rules prohibit using the hanging corpses as any sort of party pinata. Observers will have to seek other forms of celebratory activities.

England is officially NUTS!

They didn't "cave". It was a long-forgoteen loophole that is now being exploited for Sharia Law. It will likely be changed.

But it's not like they changed the law to recognize Sharia.

Did you even read the last paragraph of the article you linked?

Quote:

The Justice Ministry confirmed arbitration decisions were enforceable, but denied Sharia law was part of the law of England and Wales.

I love it when small minded deeply stupid people believe what they read in the Daily Outrage. Though far right wing nuts quoting it's outright lies is far from unexpected, it's much like Fox News in that respect.

When the story is supported in a source of more repute, the Dandy for instance, it might hold some more weight.

I would hate to live in Britain... I was actually considering taking my wife there about 2 years ago, but I can't say I want to anymore.

Its up to the English to fight back.

Will they?

I doubt it. The idea of the King/Queen/Parliment taking care of them is far too ingrained in their culture.

Go back to drinking your tea, Shitizen.

I wouldn't even want to VISIT your police-state-like, hippie-liberal, drunk, assclown country. I value my freedom too much.

Besides, even if my wife and I did visit, I would spend too much time fighting off British neo-nazis and soccer hooligans. I'd have to do it without my guns too, which would be a chore.

Guy Fawkes had it right. Maybe if he had succceeded, you morons would know what freedom tastes like.

Even if our freedoms here are being broken down by the liberal nazis, we can always take them back. You guys can't. You have been bred too long with the idea of Queen and Country.

So, as your country becomes like a prison, I wish you the best of luck. Maybe, one day, you'll grow a pair, wake up, and fight back.

There are a LOT of articles on the Brits killing off their own liberties. Just do a Google search on it. "british Nanny State" is a good place to start. Or even www.fark.com

This one just shows how much power the parliment has over the people.

Now, you can't even sit in traffic without following their rules.

I wonder what the British sheeple will do on the hot summer days? If they can't have their engines running, I wonder how many will fall to heatstroke?

And carjacking will be a breeze too....knock out/kill sheep, pull sheep out of your new car, start said new car, drive off.

Guess you missed that suggestion above about knowing about what you're spouting off about.

The idea of massive heatstrokes in England has been covered.

I'd like to know, how a carjacking is going to be so easy, in the middle of a traffic jam? Sure, they may get the car easy enough.... and go where now?

Dolt. You're making this too easy.

Or maybe you were thinking this would be more of an issue for those British flying car drivers.....?

I guess they don't have carjackings where you live, huh Story? Well, I'll explain it to you. (Don't worry, I'll use short phrases, and small words so you can get it)

1. Pick Sheeple Story, sitting and freezing in his car.

2. Walk over to Story, pull gun/knife/big words out.

3. Kill, scare, or otherwise drive off Sheeple Story.

4. Climb into car.

5. Turn car on.

6. Ram cars in front and behind of you to give you room.

7. U-Turn in the opposite direction of traffic jam. Or go up on the sidewalk.

8. Speed away.

Feel better Story?

Now its time for your nap.

You're funny Jongs, got to keep that underlying level of hate running at all time eh. In fact you're all welcome to comment on British politics, the chance of discussing something other than American politics would be nice, but you see most of the American's on this board are too stupid, ignorant and insular to comment on anything that happens outside of their own State with any accuracy, let alone another country. I note with some sense of tradition on this board that when I make a largely accurate statement on American politics, some far right nut will get into an abject rage that I dare to comment on America, the worlds only perfect nation, and will come back with an undoubtedly incisive and witty retort such as "Britain Sucks".

This thread and the replies on it, however is not a valid comment on British politics. It's the immature whining of a pathetic troll wishing to offend. You may disagree with my opinion on American politics, but you could never say it is uninformed. At least, not if you're being objective and truthful, both of which, along with common Human decency, are seldom seen commodities on this board. Indeed I feel confident in the statement that on my off days I know more about American politics than most American's on this board know about British, more over I probably know more about American politics than most Americans.

American politics effect mine, so I make it my business to know about it. Of course world politics effect American's, and American's don't tend to give a shit, so you may not understand that concept. I would note though, that the only time I'd make a stupid and inflammatory remark such as "Britain Sucks", is when speaking to some far right loony nationalist...

In USA "binding arbitration" means you go through arbitration, then you appeal it and get a real trial.

Islamic law in Britain is merely civil arbitration, and cannot enforce draconian tortures. It's the British government's job to enforce Draconian tortures, like renditions of Arabs in CIA death camps.

Quote:

They cut off my clothes with some kind of doctor's scalpel. I was naked. I tried to put on a brave face. But maybe I was going to be raped. Maybe they'd electrocute me. Maybe castrate me.

They took the scalpel to my right chest. It was only a small cut. Maybe an inch. At first I just screamed ... I was just shocked, I wasn't expecting ... Then they cut my left chest. This time I didn't want to scream because I knew it was coming.

One of them took my penis in his hand and began to make cuts. He did it once, and they stood still for maybe a minute, watching my reaction. I was in agony. They must have done this 20 to 30 times, in maybe two hours. There was blood all over. "I told you I was going to teach you who's the man," [one] eventually said.

They cut all over my private parts. One of them said it would be better just to cut it off, as I would only breed terrorists. I asked for a doctor.

Doctor No 1 carried a briefcase. "You're all right, aren't you? But I'm going to say a prayer for you." Doctor No 2 gave me an Alka-Seltzer for the pain. I told him about my penis. "I need to see it. How did this happen?" I told him. He looked like it was just another patient. "Put this cream on it two times a day. Morning and night." He gave me some kind of antibiotic.

I was in Morocco for 18 months. Once they began this, they would do it to me about once a month. One time I asked a guard: "What's the point of this? I've got nothing I can say to them. I've told them everything I possibly could."

"As far as I know, it's just to degrade you. So when you leave here, you'll have these scars and you'll never forget. So you'll always fear doing anything but what the US wants."

Later, when a US airplane picked me up the following January, a female MP took pictures. She was one of the few Americans who ever showed me any sympathy. When she saw the injuries I had she gasped. They treated me and took more photos when I was in Kabul. Someone told me this was "to show Washington it's healing".

That was just the beginning of the torture...

Hello,

I support Ron Paul's take on the powers of the Federal Government. While he may be divorced from our current reality, I think that's because he's married to what the reality of Federal power was supposed to be.

Even knowing that Ron Paul couldn't possibly get nominated for president, I switched to Republican from Independent this year just so I could vote for him.

Hmmm , does that name 'Rothschild' ring bells for any folk ?

'Course , it's the same on the other side , what with 'moneychanger' Soros writing the checks for the next Obama-nation...

Is it any wonder that Ralph Nader calls this 'the Evil of two Lessers' ?

Hes actually a good man.

I don't doubt that he's a decent enough guy in person, but his political philosophy leaves much to be desired. If we were 200 years in the past, when the industrial revolution hadn't happened and the US was just another nothing country that no one but the Brits payed much attention to, then yeah, he'd be a good choice for president.

Do I think governmental power should be limited? Yes. But Ron Paul's philosophy seems to be something along the lines of "hack off the arm to remove the cancer in the fingertip". If he had his way, the country would collapse in 10 years, because the infrastructure that maintained it would be gone. The man, regardless of how "good" he is, is a fool, and a dangerous one at that.

No, the country would not collapse in 10 years...

Just the bloated parts of government.

We, as Americans, need to remember our birthrights. Freedom, self-determination, personal accountability and grit.

We don't need Big Brother coddling us from the cradle to the grave. We are stronger than that.

I guess that's the real difference between us Citizen. I disagree with that assessment of the posters here. But if it makes you feel better by putting others down and flaunting your so-called intellect, then by all means carry on.

Hello,

What Ron Paul would do, is reduce government size and spending, restore the value of currency, and cease foreign military entanglements while opening the floodgates of trade to all nations.

This would have the impact of reducing the nation to a mere 'power' on the world stage instead of a 'superpower.' This is something I support, as I am not so full of bloated self-importance that I think the U.S. needs to be at the center of everything.

What makes a "superpower" anyways? I mean, as a nation, we have the ability to wipe out any country with a barrage of nukes....we can also drop our troops into a hostile territory within a matter of hours....

So if its not military might, then what is it? Economic might? I could argue that we have not been a "superpower" in that respect for a long time..

It has nothing to do with self-importance. It's simple realism. Let's look at his views on taxes, for example. He wants to abolish the IRS. Can you think of a more idiotic thing to do? 'Cause I can't. As annoying as paying taxes is, our entire society would fall apart if there weren't any.

How would we pay for schools, or roads, or any number of vital services? The answer is simple: we couldn't. That alone would be enough to bring down the country if it came to pass, because the government would have no money to maintain our infrastructure.

Not to mention defense. Now, we definitely don't need to be spending outrageously large amounts of money on defense like we are now, but how would we maintain any military force at all with no money to pay for it? Once again, we couldn't.

So, with abolishing one federal agency, Ron Paul would have effectively killed education, the economy, and the military all in one fell swoop. How exactly does that make him a good choice for the presidency?

Believe me, comparing myself favourably to the witless self important morons, who immediately begin shouting insults the moment someone disagrees with them because they're incapable of accepting other view points or even forming a logical argument, is neither 'putting them down' nor building myself up. If anything it's relatively a compliment.
