If you all really feel the need to question/insult/remove someone's manhood, fine, but could you please leave women and girls out of it? Being female should not be an insult.

When pussy is used in this way, it's similarly bad to cunt in my book. As a female, I'd like to state my belief that only use of words like 'pussy' and 'cunt' or other derogatory terms can override their negative connotation. Strangely, though, ethnic slurs do bother me, and I don't feel the same way, there. *ponders*

And also: normally I don't find swearing for the heck of it amusing... But used properly, such as irony or as an exaggerated response to minor joke-insults, cunt is hilarious because it IS such a harsh term. I save it for special occasions.

Doesn't pussy refer to both the male and female reproductive organs?

Well, the "what did you just say?" isn't just because they're used infrequently (in polite company, anyway), it's that they're rarely used in a friendly way. The only people I know that use cunt and pussy in a non-derogatory/non-creepy way are feminists.
