I told you that I don't watch FauxNews as a regular viewer--I have seen clips of FauxNews, which can do nothing but show exactly what's ON ClusterFox, which is the same as watching them. It doesn't matter if the clips I've seen and WHAT QUOTES I'VE READ from them are slanted or biased; they are clips and quotes (which I research) from FauxNews themselves! They may do more rational things, but what I've seen is definitely not rational or honest, and I've seen them exposed in pure, intentional fraud before, some of which they've apologized for. I don't have to watch the entire shows in order to see relevant material which tells me what they are and how they manipulate, lie and brainwash their audience.

There is no comparison between that and reading a law. Without reading a law, you can't know what's in it. Without watching FauxNews, I CAN tell what's ON FauxNews by watching excerpts from it.

Ergo, your snark is fallacious on its face. So I dismiss it, and I certainly dismiss all the assorted things you called me. Interesting. I just discovered that it depends on WHO you reply to, what happens to the title. I didn't think either Anthony (who is to civil) or Kirk (defender of Whatsit) would have changed the title, so I checked, and found that I don't have to change the title, just reply to anyone else who DID. Fascinating. I learn something almost every day on this forum!

You are right, Anthony, something I've mentioned many times, tho' not in that manner. You put it much better than I, and in a way I hadn't seen; it's not so much about wasting time as it is about conceding power to them, stooping to their level, and allowing us to be sidetracked into making their posts the most dominant ones. I'll try to remember that, thank you.

Go find some of HAKEN's threads and change the titles to one or more of those posts, or do you and the others just change the ones that are safe?

I rarely change titles of any threads, and am determined to try not to in future. I explained why once or twice I have changed yours. The snark is irrelevant. I don't consider any post "safe" or otherwise; people can change anything back that they want to.

I would suggest you point your comments at those who frequently change thread titles, considering how rarely I ever do, unless your antipathy toward me is so strong you want to keep attacking me on that subject, which I suspect it is.

WhoZit, I conjure that if Haken starts posting threads about things like giant fungi dicoveries under headings like "Keith Olbermann's head found" that his titles would get changed, too.

You think it's because it's YOU, not because of what you're posting.

Heck, my titles have been changed. So have Niki's. PN's, Signy's, Rappy's, Rue's, I think even Geezer's have been changed. It's not really a partisan issue, or a WhoZit issue.

And it seems to flare up once in a while, and then die down.

Heck, I've been on other boards where moderators would actually go in and CHANGE THE WORDS in peoples' posts. That, to me, is beyond non-kosher. That's getting into libel territory there.

Hopefully FFF.net 2.0 will disallow changing of titles by any but the author of the thread. Who knows...
