Keep the Shiny side up

Don't know how it is where you are, but here in Northern Virginia it's political ads all day every day. And not only do we get the Virginia Congressional ads, but the Maryland Senatorial and Governor's races as well. Except for the ads for MDland's Senator Mikulsli, who's pretty much running unopposed, every one is an attack ad. The guys in my House district are both such sleazes I'll either vote Libertarian or write in "None of the Above". I will be SO happy when the election is over.

I've done the Libertarian thing in the past, but for all national seats, I'm voting GOP.

This is too important an election to piss away my vote to let the Dems have even 1 less vote against them. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them has to go.

I'm with AUrapt here. I consider myself libertarian, but i'll save that vote for after the GOP saves the country...Not a whole lot different between a true conservative and a libertarian...Not fiscal anyway..

I agree, Geezer. It's not just the political ads that are driving me crazy, it's the damned ROBOCALLS!! Thus far, all the ones I've gotten are from CONSERVATIVE groups!! They must be blanketing the area, because it's obvious I'm not a conservative, yet they're robocalling me. Idiots.

I pretty much just want it over...for one thing, a week or two after it's over, maybe we can move on to other things and not have the pundits obsessed with the midterms. I'm sick to death of it; even the absurdity that makes me laugh is growing old, it's so prevalent.

At least, as you aid, only ten days more...

Can't do it. The Republican (Keith Fimian) is too anti-abortion, anti-stem cell, anti-gay for me. If he was just a fiscal conservative, that'd be okay, but he's waaay too Moral Majorityish.
