Why do you want the country "burned to the ground"?

I mean you've made no bones about the kind of people who you want to win next week and have used the Nickelback song "Burn It To The Ground" as a companion to your point. So you feel that if they get elected they will "burn it to the ground"? Why would you want them to win then if all they're going to do is cause destruction and chaos? And what is "it" anyway (Besides the answer given in "Epic" by Faith No More of course...)? Do you mean Congress? The whole country? The planet? And why are you so seemingly gleeful about the prospect of any of those things being burnt to the ground? Shouldn't as you are "a faithful servant of the free people of the United States" be against any of those things being burnt to the ground?

Blacks weren't allowed to vote at all until after the Civil War, and even then, were effectively disenfranchised in the South until 1964-65. Women weren't allowed to vote until less than a hundred years ago. Those "great unwashed masses" you speak of have only been a factor in recent times.

Why do you imagine the past to be so much greater than it really was?

No. It takes the power to elect Senators FROM the people, and gives it to the political elites in their state, the state legislatures and governors. Currently, Senators are elected by the voters of each state. The federal government does not elect Senators. They have no say in who the people one state over, or twenty states away, vote for.

No, it's fact. 138 of 138 candidates endorsed by the tea parties are running on the GOP ticket. Not one is running as a Democrat, Green, Libertarian, or Independent. That's not "liberal hard line opinion", it's fact.

It's also fact that it was Republican majorities in both houses and the White House that brought us the wars, Patriot Act, wiretaps, etc. I know you weren't paying attention, but those aren't opinions, either; they're facts.

That you don't LIKE those facts is inconvenient for you, and as such, you seem reluctant to address the questions, or seem to sidestep them altogether. I thought you were supposed to be brave, heroic, non-partisan, a lover of truth... Did the truth just become uncomfortable for you?
