"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Rappy thinks one little boy shoving a little girl (no reports of her falling to the ground, by the way) makes him "a thug and a bully", but by some remarkable mental gymnastics, Romney being 16 or 18 years old - every bit as "adult" as Trayvon Martin, in other words - and leading a gang in an assault and battery on another student DOESN'T make him either a thug or a bully.

It's RappyLogic™. It doesn't have to make sense. "Forget about it, Jake - it's RappyTown™."

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero, Real World Event Discussions

I understand that, but it sounded like you thought that BP was, I don't know, "put upon" or something having to clean up the accident.

...Which I'm not sure the EPA or BP did all that great a job cleaning up, but anyway.

So, you admit you lied. Proud of ya, boy!

Granted, now caught - you'll deny it and undo that growth - but that's okay. Its what you do. Making any personal progress might make you feel progressive, which would make your head explode.

The dissonace rings out louder than a friggin church bell at noon.

His "debate" style has devolved to "I know you are, what am I" type rhetoric. It's sad and funny at the same time.

Oh, he was plenty mad at the time - but only at Obama. The BP guys were all just innocent businessman caught in an unavoidable mistake (unavoidable meaning pretty much the opposite) - and it was all the fault of big bad Barry.

I didn't lie. Obama lied. I bought into HIS story. But who the hell knows if HE is telling the truth? I honestly admitted that I can't rely on what he says. That's not me 'lying'.

You say you can't rely on what he says, but you're more than willing to make up things he DIDN'T say, and rely on those.

But you say it's not lying, this making things up out of thin air...

Oh, man, you're reeely losing it! Extrapolating from an autobiography to say "he pushed her to the ground" and he may have pushed LOTS of WOMEN to the ground...what is wrong with you? You usually don't go THIS far off the tracks, but the two posts you put up, and your extension of pushing one girl to pushing her to the GROUND and beyond that, this is outside your usual nuttiness. Something going wrong in your life or something? You're getting TRULY weird...weirder than normal that is!

Its fucking amazing. Im actually slack-jawed at how blatant he is with the lies now. He makes shit up completely - and then claims Obama lied about it - when the Raptard is the ONLY one who said it.

There isn't a word to capture how stupid this motherfucker really is.

I don't know, I think something's wrong with him. This is all beyond the pale even for Raptor. Dunno what it is, but it's sure weird. Me, I'm gonna go watch the news. Depressing as it is, it's better than trying to respond with intelligence to the truly weird shit he's spewing this afternoon.

Gotten him a lot of attention, tho', hasn't it?
Made him the center of numerous discussions tho', hasn't it?

Hmmmmm...maybe something happened in his life that made him more desperate than usual to have people focus on him or something...

I think we should just give him the Cartman treatment - just pretend he doesn't exist. It made Cartman a better person for about 5 minutes - that's the best we're likely to ghet, really.

I think I tend to agree...since just about every thread I've been in the last bit of time has degenerated into being ABOUT Raptor, maybe that's the best way to go. I did, for a while, then started mocking him, and somewhere along the line got hooked into responding to his idiocy to show how idiotic and wrong it is...so it's back to the beginning for me, which means wasting less time and typing energy...

"One of the saddest things I have found in my internet forum experience is how powerfully the 'win at all cost' mentality has poisoned most discussions, and how few people actually feel that true understanding is the most valuable prize to win. So these 'win at all cost' people refuse the most fundamental method of trying to resolve disputes, and once they do, the dialogues dialogues just end up as verbal shoving matches with no real winner."Bill Munn

Congratulations to you guys (Niki, Storymark, Kwicko), but saying it and doing it are 2 different things. I think there should be something at stake, like who ever caves and tries to out duel Mr. AU has to have something in their signature, "Auraptor is the Enlightened One." Or, "Auraptor is the only voice of reason on these boards." Something like that to make it intersting, say for the rest of May?
