Didn't even read the story PN, but to know that he's paying 6 bucks a pack or more of taxpayer dollars for his habit makes me smile.

I'm sure he isn't paying that much with "no-tax" cigarettes.... but I love seeing a president smoking packs at whatever taxpayers subsidize his habit for while we all pay full price, plus 4-5 bucks in taxes per pack.

Hypocrite.

If he weren't unbiased in my experience over the years, I would have pummled him into the ground for just being a Jew hater.

Seems he has just as much bad to say whoever is in office.

And since I do as well, I won't impede at all on his own ways of doing things without some occassional "ribbing" because he is a constant pillar here. No matter how many people on "this" side hate him today, an equal amount of people or less hated him on "that" side yesterday....

If you open your mind you will see the truth. I didn't mean being a liberal to believe nonsense. Just live long enough to experience life and then judge. Since Jimmy Carter's deregulation of the airlines there had always been a conspiracy of the big 3 taking over UAL, AA, and Delta. Now that has come true. Since People's Express there comes and goes upstart airlines for about two years and then their a bust. It is to appease the free market. If laws were not in place Americans would be flying British Airways everywhere. It is just one example of the conspiracy world. Now why is that a big deal? Because workers lose there seniority with a new company or out of a job with no pension. So I like PNs thought and diatribe on the world. 1st amendment rights gotta have it.

Those "Unemployment Taxes" were forced on my employer, as they were on your employer since we were born Kwick....

That is money that might, or might not, have been passed along to you as the employee depending on who you worked for.

In the time that I "collected" 28k unemployment insurance, I can guaranty you that I'm the only person, not only do you know... but EVER, saved over 15k of that for a new house through home improvement projects for room and board and other things...

If it makes you feel any better, I smoke EXCLUSIVELY "Class L" tobacco, which is actually a cleaner and higher form of tobacco than cigarettes.

I buy Menthol "pipe tobacco" for about 17 bucks a pound and I manually insert them with a metal machine every morning into empty, filtered rolls that look exactly like regular cigarettes....

In the end, it costs me about 10 bucks a carton, and it's higher quality tobacco without all the tar and bullshit that the companies add. Some even argue that I haven't been smoking any nicotine for over a year and if I wanted to I could quit tomorrow because of it.

I don't plan on quitting, but it's sure nice to know that even while I was making "gumment" money I treated it as my own and rolled my own basicly tax free smokes.

You're barking up the wrong tree here dude, seriously.....

The last movie I saw in the theatre was "Snakes on a Plane", and that's just because that's what my Bro and his friends were going to watch before a 3 day weekend without any outside food or water in tents....
