Retiring IRS lawyer Carter C. Hull implicated the IRS Chief Counsel’s office, headed by Obama appointee William J. Wilkins, and Lois Lerner, the embattled head of the IRS’ exempt organizations office, in the IRS targeting scandal and made clear that the targeting started in Washington, according to leaked interviews that Hull granted to the Oversight Committee in advance of Thursday’s hearing.

Treasury Inspector General J. Russell George will return to Republican chairman Darrell Issa’s committee Thursday along with two central characters in the IRS saga: Hull and Cincinnati-based IRS employee Elizabeth Hofacre, who previously gave Hull’s name to congressional investigators, fingering him as her Washington-based supervisor

NOW we know why this astroturffed , phonied up, contrived " anger " at the Zimmerman verdict makes more sense.

Keep the eye of America off the Obama scandals.

Any blood shed at those 'rallies' ( aka- riots ) this weekend will be directly on Sharpton, and indirectly on Holder and Obama.

I admire your steadfastness, but this IRS scandal is going nowhere. Add it to the list that includes Benghazi, AP/Justice, Fast & Furious, NSA, State Dept. prostitutes, Secret Service prostitutes, Bob Menendez prostitutes, Lying to Congress, GAO extravagances, Food Stamp fraud, Disability fraud, Energy Dept./Solyndra fraud, etc., etc. All scandals, all forgotten or soon to be forgotten. This Administration has been and likely will remain untouchable 'til the day they leave.

You mean the scandal that it turns out was the IRS looking at political groups on both sides to make sure they complied with the rules? The scandal of the IRS doing it's job...oh the horror!

Nearly half the country doesn't agree with the verdict. I wouldn't call their anger contrived.

Unfortunately, the eyes looked away long before the verdict.

And who's gonna make that case? The silent majority on this is going to remain silent no matter what happens. And the majority of the media will continue to do what they are doing.

The scandal which America was lied to about, where " both " groups means 200+ for conservative, and 5 or 6 " liberal " ?

No, this was FAR from the IRS merely doing its job. It has been and continues to be a coordinated effort to keep opponents of this regime from fully funding and engaging in the political process.

Horrors ? Absolutely.

Jongs, as with Obama, nearly 1/2 the country has no frelling CLUE of what actually took place.

Most believe the NBC edited 9-1-1 audio, and never heard the dispatcher ask George if the suspect was white, black or hispanic. THEY only heard him say " This guy looks like he's up to no good. He looks black ", there by cementing the perception that Trayvon was profiled BECAUSE he was black, male and young. Which was 100% false. George called in to report a suspicious looking person, who he THOUGHT looked black, but that was only an after thought, as he gave that info only after it was requested. George didn't call in and say " I'd like to report a black guy in our neighborhood, who looks like he's up to no good " .

Not many know that Zimmerman took a black girl to his prom, or that one of his great grandparents was black. See, that doesn't fit the narrative that he's an angry WHITE Hispanic racist.

Most of what America knows is from the distortions from the MSM, and the out right lies from the elected officials and self appointed " leaders ". Then add in Holder and Obama, fanning the flames all that much more, and you've got a contrived, phony movement of faux rage.

I'm surprised you'd think I wouldn't know all that.

You didn't mention that Zimmerman also mentored black children for free in after school programs. Or that The FBI already conducted an extensive pre-trial investigation involving 36 witnesses trying to find any history of racism from Zimmerman. They found nothing. But that won't stop Holder from charging him with civil rights violations anyhow. He's more arrogant and delusional than Fla. Special Prosecutor Angela Corey is.

What else is new? That's what they do, that's all they do. It can't be stopped. It's barely even being challenged. This travesty of the absurd has a life of its own.

I'd expect YOU to know that, but not nearly 1/2 of the country who are " angry " over the verdict.

That's how the MSM goes. With the Romney smears, with the facts about Zimmerman ( or the real Trayvon ) , as with the IRS scandal. Benghazi, Fast and Furious..

I guess the White House can control how many of these groups pop up. It is like magic!

Even more so when you really look at the issue and figure out that most of these groups did not needed prior approval from the IRS, or the fact that 80% of the groups that came under extra scrutiny would have done so under IRS normal procedures.

The revealing testimony on the IRS scandal was just given yesterday. The story is only getting bigger the more we know.
