Quote:

Lake Mary police say they were called around 2:30 p.m. to the Sprucewood Road home owned by Shellie Zimmerman's parents, David and Machelle Dean.

According to Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell, Shellie Zimmerman called 911 claiming George Zimmerman had a gun and was making threats.

"He’s in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying, 'Step closer,' and he’s just threatening all of us," Shellie Zimmerman said in the 911 call, adding that George Zimmerman was "trying to shut the garage door" on her.

The 911 call was placed after an apparent shoving match between Shellie's father and her estranged husband. They crossed paths while moving things out of their home.

"He punched my dad in the nose, my dad has a mark on the nose. I saw his glasses were on the floor," Shellie Zimmerman said in the call. "He then accosted my father, then took my iPad out of my hands. He then smashed it and cut it with a pocketknife, and there is a Lake Mary city worker across the street that I believe saw all of it."

Former Local 6 legal analyst Mark O'Mara, who represented George Zimmerman in his murder trial, said that the argument on Monday stemmed over Shellie moving. George Zimmerman wanted to move on Monday and emotions "bubbled" over when he walked in on Shellie Zimmerman still moving, O'Mara said.

O'Mara also said that George Zimmerman didn't threaten Shellie Zimmerman or her father with a gun, even though Shellie Zimmerman told 911 dispatchers he did. O'Mara said George did have his gun, but that it was holstered under his shirt and stayed there the whole time.

The incident came days after Shellie Zimmerman filed for divorce and discussed her relationship with George Zimmerman during a TV interview.

Since being acquitted in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman has been pulled over twice for speeding. http://www.clickorlando.com/news/george-zimmerman-taken-into-custody-a
fter-incident-with-gun-police-say/-/1637132/21851424/-/tlxm3oz/-/index.html

Man, the cops just keep "taking care" of this guy. Note that O'Mara, who represented Zimmerman (still does? Dunno how he speaks with authority otherwise...) says he had a gun, it was holstered, under his shirt. What do the cops say?
Quote:

"Nobody saw a gun," said Officer Zach Hudson. "We did not find a gun on his body. We did not find a gun in the house. As of right now, there is no gun."

He's looking at charges for destroying evidence, since he destroyed the iPad she recorded the confrontation on.

Also, his lawyer has refused to represent him on this one.

It almost seems as if he's even dumber than I thought; he doesn't seem to have LEARNED anything from his experience...it almost seems to have made him feel he can do whatever he wants.

This is what I'm saying. This guy will shoot and possibly kill someone again and soon, because he feels invincible. So he destroys the evidence (his wife knows better than to confront him without a witness or proper proof of his erratic behavior.

Don't be surprised if his wife either disappears or shows up dead somewhere.
He only shoots when it's an unarmed person and no witnesses, so she should always walk with her IPad or a bodyguard.

The latest developments with Zippy, the Who me? candidate, is not surprising to me. He will strike again, he can't help himself.

He shot and killed an unarmed child, was treated preferentially by the cops then after a national outcry managed to walk free. What lesson could you take from that other than he's entitled to do whatever he wants?

Ouch.

If anything, this shows him to be a person with some self-control issues. Anger management, or whatever. But then, this fits with the type of person who would turn his concern over potential burglaries into following a young man (against professional advice?) an failing to deescalate the resulting confrontation.

Seems Mrs. Zimmerman changed her story about seeing a gun.

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/USA-Update/2013/0910/Wife-of-George-Zimme
rman-reverses-story-says-she-didn-t-see-a-gun

So this would make her "He's in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun, and he's saying, 'Step closer.' He's just threatening all of us with his firearm," 911 statement false.

But don't let that stop the 'jumping-to-conclusions' fest.

Agent, I think some of what you said may be valid. I tend to see him more as by now being pretty paranoid, which might make him more defensive and might "wed" him to his gun a bit more. He's been through a lot, so the "defection" of his wife has to be contributing to the stress, certainly.

As to her changing her story; if the initial reports were correct and I were her, I think I'd be giving serious thought to whether I wanted to press charges, confront him, or do anything except get as far away as possible. We will never know whether her initial report was correct and she's unwilling to pursue the matter and that's why she changed her story, or she's not a particularly truthful individual and was upset so said things which weren't true initially to maybe make him look bad. We can only guess. Only she, Zimmerman and her father know the truth, and I doubt it will ever come out.

I do wonder about two stops for speeding (speeding quite a BIT in at least one of them) indicates, if anything. Seems strange since as far as I know he didn't have a history of speeding tickets before. And I think visiting the gun manufacturer was pretty ill advised, and might give credence to the mentality some are suggesting. He's certainly having his share of problems; too bad he can't just calm down and get on with his life and get out of the spotlight.

Not the issue here.

Did he pull a gun on his wife?

In my OPINION, I don't particularly care. Certainly not to the extent of dragging up everything about O.J. that makes it into the media, like some folks do with Zimmerman.

If trying to introduce a bit of fact into the suppositions that appear here is "defending" Zimmerman, I guess it depends on how wild the conspiracy theories get.

No, you didn't introduce "fact". You state as "fact" that because she says NOW that she didn't see a gun, she's a liar. We don't know why she said there was one first, and now says there wasn't; there may be many factors at work of which we're unaware. And you went straight to "lynch mob", you didn't simply disagree and state your opinion, not to mention accusing me of being "obsessed" with Zimmerman. Got it in one. I introduce the 'fact' that Zimmerman's wife now says she actually didn't see a gun.

And you come up with all these bat-shit crazy theories about why she did so. I figure that your twisting everything concerning Zimmerman to 'prove' that he's guilty of something is as much of a 'lynch mob' as you have the nerve to be in.

C'mon Chris. Get the rope and hang the bastard. 200 years of figuring out how law works shouldn't interfere with your opinion.

I don't know if Zimmerman is guilty of a crime or not. The system we've relied on for quite a while says no. If you want to change that to popular vote, you might want to think about the consequences.

A man who felt compelled to follow a person because of his paranoid beliefs, against the better judgment of those in law enforcement, targeted a young man whom he felt was up to no good. That man was hunting.

He put himself into a position where he felt justified in his action to shoot to kill. He aimed and fired one shot to the heart. Now, for those skeptics who feel he is innocent, what person, fighting a life or death struggle, would have the time to aim?

When I first read this I thought you were over reaching just a tad, "no way, he'd never do that with what he just went through." But now, seems that that's all he's about, attention junkie. And he did shoot and kill someone and get away with it. That must have been such a high and a personal validation that the rest of life now must seem very mundane, he must be wondering, even subconsciously "how do I get that buzz back?"

What's amusing is that I qualified all over the place with "some" and "might", etc., and postulated some POSSIBLE reasons why his wife might have decided not to press charges and to say she didn't see a gun after all, and have expressed no more than OPINIONS as to what might have gone on. I'm not even positive the wife DIDN'T lie initially; they've both had some problems, they're in a divorce, he makes news, she might have been either scared and over-reacted or angry and deliberately tried to make him look bad. As I said quite clearly, we'll probably never know.

But to Geezer, that's "lynch mob", "hate fest"--in other words, in his world, there can be NO other explanation except the one he believes, and anyone who doubts it even slightly is a "lynch mob". It's quite telling.

Not to mention the fact that I've not seen a single soul, even when Zimmerman was on trial for killing someone, who wanted to lynch him... But of course that's neither here nor there; anything less than an absolute statement of his innocence must be condemned, and anyone who puts up a post with a news article about him must be obsessed. Nothing new or surprising in any of that. Sad, tho'.

No, idjit, obviously I meant HERE. There are always people who want someone in the news dead for doing just about anything, not even anything having to do with killing someone; I was referring to the discussions we'd had here, on this forum, and Geezer leaping to "lynch mob" from people expressing mere opinions.

One only has to go on the internet for five minutes to find SOMEONE who thinks SOMEONE should be killed for SOMETHING (frequently including our President, or even ALL Democrats, or ALL Republicans, or ALL anything); how you could interpret it the way you did is beyond me. Heck, even during the trial there were people calling for a murder verdict and death sentence...how could you possibly think I was saying "nobody" at all?? Weird.

As far as having his day in court "settling" the matter, one word: OJ. Maybe if he stopped breaking the law by speeding or getting himself in the news by going to the gun manufacturer, or learned to hold his temper so his wife didn't panic and call the cops, we could forget about him. But it's his life and he can lead it as he likes; this being a free country, much as it pisses you and Geezer off, WE have a right to our opinions, too. Shocking, I know.

So he was found not-guilty in a fair court of law, but not By Me!
And I am happy to rake him over the coals at any opportunity. I know

There was no 'self defense' there, as was the case w/ Zimmerman.

I was speaking generally, about those who start threads long after a case has been decided, or spell out " Trayvon " at halftime on a football field. The message is still clear.

I didn't mean you wore a hoodie either.

"George is such a loose cannon, has become so reliable about getting into the news"...there is that, Oonj. Despite Geezer's accusations, I'm hardly obsessed, or addicted, but yeah, I notice it when he makes news...again...and again...

And of course nobody ever mentions anyone once a case is settled, even when they get into trouble again. Like I said: OJ? And about a million others...

You keep bringing up OJ, when that case doesn't relate.

I don't wanna talk about whether Niki is talking about George
or is allowed to.
I wanna talk about George. He keeps on tickin' ... like a bunny or a bomb?

I didn't watch the trial, never heard George talk. Was he proud of
killing Martin instead of remorseful?

I do agree with SGG ... I now think he's a killer.

George Zimmerman a threat to public safety, Lake Mary police chief suggests

Lake Mary's police Chief Steve Bracknell hinted that he believes
George Zimmerman may be a gunman who's a threat to public safety,
a candidate for another massacre, like one at Sandy Hook Elementary
School, that left 20 first graders and six adults dead ...

In addition, "Shiping Bao, Medical Examiner in George Zimmerman
Case, Fired" ... “They told me that I had a poor performance in the
George Zimmerman trial,” Bao said.

Is Bao not a team player?

For a lot of people, this matter is not over, not resolved, not honest.

Interesting article, Oonj: "Zimmerman was handcuffed Sept. 9 ... after his father-in-law was punched in the nose...", "A camera on the house captured video of George Zimmerman taking the iPad from his estranged wife's hands, banging it against his knee multiple times, prying it open with a knife then tossing the parts into the grass." Nice guy; obviously HE has no familiarity with violence... If he'd done nothing wrong, wonder why he went off so intently on the iPad.

I tend to agree with the cop, but hope he's wrong.

"Today, Lake Mary police spokesman Zach Hudson said his agency appeared to be on the verge of pushing the domestic-violence investigation forward. It has found "an agency" that will try to salvage video of the dispute recorded by Shellie Zimmerman on an iPad." Be interesting if they're able to salvage any of it.

As to OJ, they both happen to be cases where many people think someone avoided responsibility for their actions through a failure in our justice system. In that respect, they relate Of course, O.J. was BLACK, so Rap has no problem with people believing in his guilt, but everyone should shut up about Zimmerman, 'cuz he's obviously a good guy...

No, his he's guilty because of the actions he took, not the color of his skin.

Zimmerman? Don't know if he's a good guy or not, that's never been the issue.

Why do you hate white hispanics so damn much ?
