You really don't. 90% or so of W's " vacation " was spent at either Crawford or Camp David. Those are nothing but his own property or the official WH hide away. Which means W was basically in familiar surroundings, doing work, but outside of the office of the WH.

No one w/ 1/2 a brain can claim Obama was doing the same.

He has no plan for ISIS, despite knowing of the " JV " team for a year or more. He doesn't care. He's too distracted. Dude just wants to play golf and party.

Such a piece of go-se topic that Lefty cheerleader Maureen Dowd even had to write an entire column over it. Obama sycophants may not want to hear it, but the hard truth of the matter is that the optics of this are HOOOOOOOORIBLE. There's no way around it. He doesn't get it, and it shows. Shows so much, that even those on the Left can see it. All save for the most hard core myrmidons.

And the thing most here want to ignore about W, and his 'Now watch this drive ' comment ( which was a true cheap shot by Moore ) , is that W didn't play golf while in office but maybe once for the rest of his 2 terms. Obama has put in 190 rounds, at least, so far. That's hitting the links almost 3 x a month, during the " worst economy since the great depression ". And then there's the basketball, the body surfing, the summer concert series , in addition to all the usual state dinners and functions.

Dude Obama hardly ever works!

You mean not bothering to get out of bed until the crack of noon every day at the White House doesn't count as vacation as long as he is able to squeeze in 2 fundraising meetings before heading out for fun?
