Conscience? My ass! Eric Holder will quit so that he can make more money. Since January 2010, the annual rate of pay for the Attorney General is only $199,700. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Schedule#Level_I

It's time for Holder to joint the Top 0.1% and leave behind the loud mouth loser Republicans http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affluence_in_the_United_States#Top_percen

All the fun has gone out of kicking Republicans in the balls, day after day, and Holder wants to move on to something amusing.

It's all a bunch of barking mad Republicans howling at the Holder. If the Republicans believed what they say about Holder, why haven't they impeached him? Because they know they could never convict him of breaking the law.

It is the Republicans' duty to bring down people like Holder, but did they do their Constitutional obligations? They did not.

I knew you would say that. The GOP leadership can be completely bypassed by a single person who feels strongly about upholding the Constitution.

One brave Republican can make a move today! For example, Preston Smith Brooks hit Senator Charles Sumner in the head with a cane. Sumner missed the next 3 years of Congress and Brooks got reelected by North Carolina.

That is effective representation, taking direct action against a Constitution enemy from liberal Massachusetts. Are we doomed to get nothing stronger than lip-flapping and tongue-lashing from Republicans?

Holder led Bush’s DOJ for 12 days — and closed a key investigation. "On Jan. 20, 2001, newly inaugurated President George W. Bush was waiting for his pick to serve as attorney general, John Ashcroft, to be approved by the Senate. In the meantime, he decided, the department would be run by a deputy that had served under outgoing Attorney General Janet Reno: a guy named Eric Holder....When Bush held his first Cabinet meeting Jan. 24, 2001, Holder was in the room. And when the Department of Justice decided a week later not to press charges against police officers involved in a notorious — and racially charged — shooting, it was Holder who explained the agency's decision."

BTW, Holder said his resignation comes when his replacement is there. Savvy move. Sure, he'll go, but only after Congress confirms his replacement. You want him gone so badly? Better make it a quick confirmation. Otherwise, he'll stay until... well, until the GOP lets him resign.

Not unless you can answer the questions asked. You're kind of known for being a smarmy little fuckstick who never takes responsibility, admits to being wrong, or apologizes when proven wrong, so I'm really not willing to just take your word for it. "Trust but verify." - and you've given no options for how one would verify that you're really willing to keep your word.

Here's my bet: You lose, you leave. If the GOP fails to take the Senate this November, you leave here for good. If they do take it, I'll leave.

Not known for any such thing, Elvis, and I don't take kindly to being insulted like that, by you or anyone.

I made a sincere, simple little bet, to which you've so far balked at taking or rejecting.

Amend the bet, if you wish, and offer up a counter one. There's time between now and November. And specifics of which you ask for are easily worked out, but if you're gonna be a whiny little a-hole on this , then forget it.

I offered. You accept, deny , or come up w/ something to your liking. But don't be a dick head about it.

As I suspect YOU are sock puppet already, I see no point in asking YOU to leave, when the GOP takes the Senate.

So, per your counter bet, I reject it. My initial bet is far more verifiable, which seems to be the big hang up for you on not accepting.

Wanna try again?

I "flounced off?"

How do you figure, because I asked some questions that you refuse to answer? Because I've made a good faith effort to ascertain how one would verify that the other had fulfilled the conditions of the bet?

If you really want to do this, you'd offer some answers. Your refusal to do so tells me that you have no intention of paying up or keeping your word if you lose.

You stated that you are "absolutely" certain the GOP will take the Senate. If you're that certain, you should have no problem agreeing to whatever bet I propose, because you can't possibly lose.

I, on the other hand, am not at all certain that the GOP won't take the Senate. There's a chance the Democrats can retain control of it, but it's not a great chance. I've got it all to lose, but you're the one who's scared. Don't you find that strange?
