Tomorrow should crown my unemployment claim after months of fighting a wrongful termination debacle.

I didn't need or even really want the unemployment money, but she made it a mission to see me gone... meanwhile an employee beat another employee unconscious and people have been stealing like it was the Baltimore Riots. 2 of those 3 people still have jobs. I'll let you guess which two....

He needs to step down.

The only way I can get to her is tearing through him....

He's over 60 and I did his job for the last 3 years.

I don't care how long it takes, or even if I'm very gainfully employed 18 months from now. I'm going to bury the store manager when he's gone.

I was willing to let it go, but she violated corporate and State laws by telling other people that she couldn't wait for me to show up to fire me (she didn't know that I already knew i was "fired"). When I didn't show up that night she told people that if I filed for Unemployment she would personally see to it that I never got it.

I got the Unemployment. She had to pull reigns on her store she never even considered before.

She never got the memo.

I am 10 times smarter than She is. :)

It's not just something I say because I think I'm cool.

A beautiful question, especially since I worded it the Same with my wrongful termination with HR as well as unemployment.

Vendetta.....

I actually called upon corporate HR to call their Dog off and end her "Vendetta" against me....

I'm sure that the fact that I was male didn't help at all, but She didn't mind making anybody of any race or sex feel like shit beneath her heels since she took control of the store.

She never knew how to handle me though. Why would anybody "smart" work there for 8 bucks an hour?

I almost can't blame her....

She made 100k+ a year. I made 11k+.

I didn't kiss her ass like everyone else,.

Male or female, I think it was as simple as that.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

You should never let anyone know you're gunning for them. It may violate your code of ethics, but ....

There are two ways that I can think of to get rid of someone:

They violated some law that either gets their store fined, or they personally land in jail. i.e. "the state" takes action

They get exposed embezzling (or something) and corporate fires them ... ie. "corporate" takes action.

Both are very, very difficult to set in motion. I hope you have a strong, airtight case because - mostly- nobody gives a fuck. Almost nobody wants anything to run right anymore, all most peeps are concerned about is getting the most bucks outta a situation by any means possible. And that goes all the way up to ... no. especially ,... upper management.

So she likes making people grovel for their $8/hr jobs. That sounds pretty sadistic. I bet that makes her a fav of upper upper management rather than a perceived liability. Maybe you can find something damaging that's OSHA or FLSA related. If her actions cost the company in court she will not be looking so useful anymore.

Hey Sigs....

I didn't let the Boss's Boss know. Just my own ex-boss, who I've known since I was 17 years old (small world, we worked together when he was no more than my age now).

Apparently, he's even smarter than I gave him credit for since he hasn't replied at all to me. That's what I would have done in his position. Just sat back and smiled.

I thought I got the unemployment, but I spoke too soon. Even though they are following everything by the book now when they didn't before, I still have questions being asked of me as of Monday. I would like to feel that my drilling it "home" took care of these questions to keep them going on from here until eternity, but only next week can tell.

It's been over 5 weeks since I filed and I still haven't gotten it.

I suppose the good news is, It's been over 5 weeks since I filed and I still haven't been denied. (all without a lawyer).

They don't want me to get my Uncle involved. :)

I've worked there for nearly 3 years and NEVER got a penny an hour raise, even though I was "Game Changer" and got the first 4.0 review out of 5 points in my life last year.

No doubt that makes her a "fav" with Upper Management, rather than a liability. The woman I worked for before she took over LOVED me, and I had an equal respect for Her. It wasn't her fault that I couldn't get a raise or a promotion, no matter how hard I worked for it. I was just an idiot for staying there.

In the end, the new management did me a favor. Forced me out.

I have more than one good case against her. Unfortunately, I don't see a situation where I can "de-throne" her where I dont' get my ex-boss, who I've known for half my life, fired too.....

Several of us went to management to warn them about a guy (we'll call him "M"). He started out fine but his behavior was becomming erattic. For nearly 2 months, warnings had been given to management and HR about "M"'s behavior and went ignored.

No less than 10 days after my firing, "M" beat "J"'s head until it was bloodly with a chair.

The store manager was so focused on getting rid of me, one of her Star Employees, that she ignored all warnings from fellow employees that they were working alongside of a loose-cannon.

I know I may get pretty drunk and throw around the "C-word" enough to get myself in trouble, but I can guaranty that I wouldn't harm a fly.

In 3 years I worked there, I was never worried about getting shanked or bludgeoned.

Apparently the new management doesn't concern themselves with these outcomes. They only worry about stamping out any possible dissidents.

Last night, everyone working for him was offered day time shifts or they could quit.

Bullshit...

They were Laid Off.

I can guaranty them 100% that they will get unemployment, and for a nominal 7% fee of their benefits I will make sure they get them.
