Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

There are many, many problems with hillary. She breaks countries and starts wars wherever she goes. Right now, she and obama are drumming up war fever JUST TO WIN THE ELECTION. Never mind that it's not against some small hapless country full of brown people that most voters can't find on a map. No, hillary and obama are aiming a Russia, a fully capable nuclear equal. I wonder if they've considered that the Russian response to their war-mongering might be something they can't just turn off after the election.

hillary as a president would have zero power to keep her many, many empty promises. And she knows that, but it doesn't stop her from making them anyway, because people really are that gullible. So, why not? But even more than that, hillary herself doesn't believe them, as the leaked documents show. hillary is an empty husk of a person when it comes to integrity.

hillary is completely corrupt, mixing state power with personal gain, as the leaked emails about pay-to-play as Secy of State and her toadying speeches to GS show.

And there's the billary issue - co-abusers of women and children, equal, if not worse than anyone else on the campaign trail.

But the BIGGEST problem with hillary is her finger on the nuclear button. Having left Iraq, Libya, Ukraine and Syria in unfixable smoking ruins, and unable to admit or even understand that she was wrong, surrounded by her equally deluded neocons in the State Department, military and CIA who also think a nuclear war is winnable, deaf to warnings, she'd turn her attention toward Russia - with her fat finger on the nuclear button and US policy to launch nuclear weapons FIRST in her waddling hip pocket. Given her unblemished history of failure, I can't imagine anything could possibly go wrong.

Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!

So, I have a question for you, second.

Hillary's been elected. Donald is waaaayyy back there, lost over the horizon in the rearview mirror. You can no longer use his name as an excuse to avoid talking about that crazy shit that crazy Hillary has been able to do - thanks to support from democrats and republicans in Congress, and her cozy, familiar relations with neocons in the State Department and in the CIA.

The US has continued to escalate tensions with Russia, and open warfare now seems nearly inevitable.

Do you have a plan to address her broken actions and rein her in?

Or are you going to ride her all the way down?

JFK, a Democrat, was President during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Joint Chiefs of Staff unanimously agreed that a full-scale attack and invasion was the only solution. Unanimously agreed. The. Only. Solution. JFK was skeptical.

The Pentagon is always advising the President that there is a need for more war. Nothing has changed about that since WWII.

The USA’s military structure is controlled by Generals and Admirals who are registered Republicans. (Google it.) Congress is controlled by Republicans who are wholehearted warmongers. I believe that Hillary will be extremely skeptical of advice coming from Republicans. Her experience with Republicans is that they are belligerent, unwise, and often downright stupid, but always loudly certain.

If JFK had taken the Pentagon’s advice, the Cuban Missile Crisis would have gone badly. If Hillary takes advice from Republicans in the Pentagon and Congress, her Crisis will go badly. I believe that Hillary has learned from her terrible experiences with Republicans to not to do what they want, no matter how loudly they shout.

But if Hillary has not already learned the lesson, Republicans will be giving her many reminders not to trust their opinions on foreign policy – they are already claiming she stole the election.

Not just Trump, but Paul Ryan, speaker of the House, will be reminding Hillary to be skeptical of everything from Republicans, including their foreign policy advice.

According to Ryan, Hillary will bring “a gloom and grayness to things,” ruled by a “cold and unfeeling bureaucracy.” America will become a place “where passion — the very stuff of life itself — is extinguished.” And this is the kind of America Clinton “will stop at nothing to have.” I am very hopeful Hillary will understand the message Republicans are broadcasting. It is not just campaign rhetoric. They want to sabotage her. And if that means giving her disastrous foreign policy advice, they will do that, too.

I bet Putin is soiling himself. The idea of him getting beaten by a woman? That has to hurt. That's probably why he wants Trump to win - he's scared of women.

Remember Trump calling everyone including Romney losers? Or saying Ryan and the Republicans don't know how to win. That he will show them. He is going to have to live with the loser label soon enough.

Mike Pence repudiated his own running mate, saying on Sunday, "We will absolutely accept the result of the election." I sure hope so. It would be quite a spectacle if the vice presidential candidate conceded on Election Night but the presidential candidate didn't.

Obama took on Trump over his repeated remarks about the election being rigged:

Obama accused Trump of “whining before the game is even over” and described Trump’s remarks as “unprecedented.”

“I have never seen in my lifetime or in modern political history any presidential candidate trying to discredit the elections and the election process before votes have even taken place,” Obama said....The president, clearly troubled by Trump’s claims of a fixed election, quickly decided not to hold back. He described Trump’s allegations as a threat to American democracy and to the “integrity and trust” of the country’s civic institutions.

Trump’s lack of personal involvement in anti-Semitism (at least until very recently) makes the way his campaign is stirring up anti-Jewish sentiments so fascinating. Trump quite clearly has built his political profile in large part on dislike of blacks (birtherism) and Latinos (Mexicans are rapists) and Muslims (the total ban on immigration “until we figure out what’s going on”) even while maintaining a very close relationship with an Orthodox Jewish son-in-law.

What we’ve seen from the Trump-o-verse is that many bigots do not make these same fine-grained distinctions. Once you position yourself as the leader of a white nationalist movement, you end up with a lot of anti-Semites in your followership. And Trump, tellingly, has never said or done anything to discourage this kind of behavior.

A normal campaign would be embarrassed by having its self-proclaimed fans out there every day telling Jewish journalists they hope they get sent to the gas chamber. Trump, who tweets and retweets everything under the sun, has thus far not bothered to address this with so much as a tweet, to say nothing of a broader speech or campaign aimed at denouncing these sentiments.

The deplorables tell Trump that he is flawless, which is why they are the only ones he wants to attract. Revenge is a big part of Trump's life. Following the first presidential debate, he spent days of valuable campaign time (and hours of valuable sleep time) slamming Alicia Machado....Rosie O'Donnell....Judge Gonzalo Curiel....Khizr and Ghazala Khan....Carly Fiorina and Megyn Kelly.....Gov. John Kasich....Lyin’ Ted, Little Marco.

Why all the insults, bullying, and grudge matches? There is a reason. Trump fervently believes in retaliation. How do we know? Because he has said so numerous times that he is driven by revenge and that it is a basic tool to use in business. He is obsessed with payback.

Pretty much everything else flows from this. The bullying is always in service of revenge. The narcissism is a way of elevating himself above his adversaries. The dominance games are always aimed at real and perceived enemies.

But there's a flip side to this: Anyone who is nice to Donald Trump is a great guy. The best. One of the smartest people you'll ever meet. And this can flip in a minute. This explains why he was inexplicably pleasant to so many of his primary opponents for so long: they hadn't attacked him. Once they did, though, the gloves were off. Ditto for Vladimir Putin. As long as Putin is personally nice to him, Trump is almost literally incapable of attacking him. This will change the moment Putin says anything even mildly derogatory about Trump.

Lots of people are obsessed with scorched-earth retribution against anyone or anything that attacks them. The weird thing about Trump is that it seems to be almost hardwired. No matter how little sense it makes to play nice with, say, Vladimir Putin, Trump simply can't attack until Putin attacks him first. Likewise, no matter how personally or politically destructive it is, Trump is flatly unable to ignore an attack from anyone of influence. It's as if he has a special revenge neuron in his brain, and it flips back and forth and forces him to attack regardless of anything else. It's as automatic for him as jerking your knee is for you when a doctor taps it with a hammer. It's not something that's under Trump's conscious control.

Apparently even Newt Gingrich agrees:
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/newt-gingrich-little-trump-acts-
uncontrollably-when-criticized

The former House speaker and top Trump surrogate told the Washington Examiner’s David Drucker that the Republican nominee loses his cool in response to “anything which attacks his own sense of integrity or his own sense of respectability, and he reacts very intensely, almost uncontrollably, to those kinds of situations.”

Trump is only addressing his hard core followers now. That would be the deplorable.

The former House speaker and top Trump surrogate told the Washington Examiner’s David Drucker that the Republican nominee loses his cool in response to “anything which attacks his own sense of integrity or his own sense of respectability, and he reacts very intensely, almost uncontrollably, to those kinds of situations.”

....“There’s also a part of his personality that sometimes gets involved in petty things that make no sense, and I think that that’s what I was talking about when I talk about there’s a big Trump and a little Trump,” Gingrich said.

You give a good account of things that make Trump unsuited for the role of president. I will watch the debate tonight to see which of his character flaws make an appearance.

Trump’s campaign has written a detailed immigration plan. Trump appears to have no idea what is in his plan. Here is 500 word article explaining Trump’s plan. He should read it today:
www.vox.com/2016/9/7/12817566/donald-trump-immigration-position

How would I know that Trump does not know? Chris Wallace did me and the debate-watching audience a great favor by asking Trump an enormous softball question to kick off the third debate’s second segment, turning to the GOP nominee and asking him to explain his position on immigration.

Trump’s answer is worth quoting in full. Keep in mind that this is his signature issue — the topic on which he has centered his campaign from its first day more than a year ago. Pay attention and you’ll note that it has no content whatsoever:
Quote:

First of all, she wants to give amnesty, which is a disaster and very unfair to all the people who are waiting in line for many years. We need strong borders. In the audience tonight we have four mothers of — I mean, these are unbelievable people that I've gotten to know over a period of years whose children have been killed, brutally killed by people who came into the country illegally. You have mothers, fathers, relatives all over the county. They're coming in illegally.

Drugs are pouring in through the border. We have no country if we have no border. Hillary wants to give amnesty, she wants to have open borders.

As you know, the border patrol agency, 16,500-plus ICE last week endorsed me. First time they've ever endorsed a candidate. It means their job is tougher, but they know what's going on. They know it better than anybody. They want strong borders. They feel we have to have strong borders. I was up in New Hampshire, the biggest complaint they have with all the problems going on in the world, many of the problems caused by Hillary Clinton and by Barack Obama, all of the problems, their single biggest problem is heroin that pours across our southern borders, just pouring and destroying their youth. It's poisoning the blood of their youth and plenty of other people.

We have to have strong borders. We have to keep the drugs out of our country. Right now we're getting the drugs, they're getting the cash. We need strong borders. We absolute -- we cannot give amnesty.

Now I want to build a wall. We need the wall. The Border Patrol, ICE, they all want the wall. We stop the drugs, shore up the border.

One of my first acts will be to get all of the drug lords, we have some bad, bad people in this country that have to go out. We'll get them out, secure the border, and once the border is secured, at a later date we'll make a determination as to the rest. But we have some bad hombres here and we're going to get them out.

www.nytimes.com/2016/10/20/us/politics/third-debate-transcript.html?_r

Trump’s repeating empty slogans, absurdly asserting that a massive construction project on the Mexican border will cure opiate addiction in New England, and saying offensive things about Latinos.

Trump, to be clear, wants to be president of the United States. He’s not qualified in a conventional sense so he needs to convince us with his surprising command of the issues. Immigration is his signature issue. And he can’t make any sense discussing it.

SECOND you are representing what others want Trump to say his plan is as Trumps actual plan. He has no policies or plans other than the ones he states himself. And they are no more extensive than talking points.

A big thing that has not been spoken much about here is that two democrats from NY are the nominees. One of which recently changed his positions so he could run as a republican.

Imagine our two dummy trolls ( SIG, 1kiki ) trying to sell here that Hillary is the liar. That's precious.

I have bets with people at work that we and Russia will be shooting at each other within a year. (Let's not count the fact that the US already bombed and strafed the Syrian army for over an hour despite calls to US command, so Russia bombed a 'secret' US outpost in Syria in retaliation.)*

*And what's with the US keeping all this a 'secret', anyway? The Russians know, and our fearless leaders know they know. It's not like putting that information out there is going to be a tactical advantage or disadvantage for anybody. Why are us poor schmucks, the people, the only ones left in the dark?

Meanwhile you can keep on ignoring hillary's results of abysmal failure in every military adventure she supported Iraq, Libya, Ukraine, Syria. Hail saint hillary the perfect!

1kiki, your post was your usual. We've seen it a hundred times before: “hillary as a president would have zero power to keep her many, many empty promises. 1kiki, you think you’re Cassandra -- doomed to know the future but nobody at fireflyfans.net (other than Signym) believes your prophecies. I think you’re the Anti-Cassandra -- doomed to be always wrong about the past and what actually happened back then. As for the future, 1kiki can predict the date of New Year's Day because it is marked on the calendar.

For 1kiki, I have an article that begins: "Nobody believes it, but politicians mostly keep their promises.

There is probably no politician in American history whose dealings have been as extensively researched, investigated, FOIAed, subpoenaed, hacked, and WikiLeaked as Hillary Clinton. Despite this, many people regard her as sphinx-like and unknowable — yearning for even more secret documents to reveal what she really thinks and what she will really do as president.

Academic research on politicians and promises suggests a simpler method: Check her campaign website." -- www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/10/21/13317060/politicians-keep-p

Trump promised a tax-cut for the rich. He would have kept that promise because it is aligned with the long term plans of the GOP. Hillary promised a tax increase for the wealthy. She might not succeed because in reality she will be opposed by every Republican in Congress. If Hillary can’t get almost every Democrat in Congress behind her position, the GOP wins again. Actually, it sounds like my article DID persuade you because you are trying to use its principles

Quote:

Trump promised a tax-cut for the rich. He would have kept that promise because it is aligned with the long term plans of the GOP.
"GOP" or not, it is in line with the prospect of NATIONAL capitalists: i.e those who make their money inside the USA, are subject to USA tax laws, and who can't or don't hide their wealth in offshore corporate tax havens, foundations, and offshore accounts. That usually means medium-to-small businesses, because the biggest (international) entities which avoid taxes are already doing so:

Quote:

All told, American Fortune 500 corporations are avoiding up to $695 billion in U.S. federal income taxes by holding $2.4 trillion of “permanently reinvested” profits offshore. In their latest annual financial reports, 27 of these corporations reveal that they have paid an income tax rate of 10 percent or less in countries where these profits are officially held, indicating that most of these monies are likely in offshore tax havens.
That includes corporations like Apple, which makes obscene profits by offshoring jobs to China (paying $20 for the production of a $600 phone) and then offshoring its profits in Ireland.

http://ctj.org/ctjreports/2016/03/fortune_500_companies_hold_a_record_
24_trillion_offshore.php

I would be extremely interested in the calculation that estimates tax savings under the Trump plan. I doubt that it takes these loopholes into account.

Quote:

Hillary promised a tax increase for the wealthy. She might not succeed because in reality she will be opposed by every Republican in Congress.
Also, many Democrats. There is an unfortunate game that Democratic politicians play in Congress, and that is if there is legislation which is offensive to their corporate backers, they will designate just enough votes to look like they are "trying" but not enough votes to actually... yanno.. pass. Where Democratic (and Republican) ethics are REALLY put to the test is when they have a majority in Congress, AND have the White House. You know, like OBAMA 2008-2011, when the donkey labored and brought forth a mouse.

Quote:

If Hillary can’t get almost every Democrat in Congress behind her position, the GOP wins again. Then Signym will be saying Hillary did not keep a promise because she was secretly working for the elite GOP, but that won't be what happened. What happened instead is the GOP killed another good law.
It depends on whether the Dems achieve a majority in Congress or not.

Having majority for the next two years will not fix what is fundamentally wrong with the US Constitution.

Irresolvable conflict is, unfortunately, baked into America’s system of government — a system that really only works if the political parties aren’t ideologically disciplined and polarized. Except the D and R’s have never been more polarized.

America's constitutional democracy is going to collapse some day just like crappy democracies in Latin America because, in retrospect, the Founding Fathers made some very poor decisions while writing the US Constitution. Matthew Yglesias explains why other countries with constitutions modeled after the US Constitution have had the very same troubles that the USA is now having between Democrats and Republicans.
www.vox.com/2015/3/2/8120063/american-democracy-doomed

“Voiced in another register, my outlandish thesis is actually the conventional wisdom in the United States. Back when George W. Bush was president and I was working at a liberal magazine, there was a very serious discussion in an editorial meeting about the fact that the United States was now exhibiting 11 of the 13 telltale signs of a fascist dictatorship. The idea that Bush was shredding the Constitution and trampling on congressional prerogatives was commonplace. When Obama took office, the partisan valence of the complaints shifted, but their basic tenor didn't. Conservative pundits — not the craziest, zaniest ones on talk radio, but the most serious and well-regarded — compare Obama's immigration moves to the actions of a Latin-American military dictator. . . .

The breakdown of American constitutional democracy is a contrarian view. But it's nothing more than the view that rather than everyone being wrong about the state of American politics, maybe everyone is right. Maybe Bush and Obama are dangerously exceeding norms of executive authority. Maybe legislative compromise really has broken down in an alarming way. And maybe the reason these complaints persist across different administrations and congresses led by members of different parties is that American politics is breaking down.”

1kiki, if you really were correct then Obama also had "zero power" during the last 4 years. You might want to back off of that claim of "zero". It makes you sound like a drunken Republican celebrating how the GOP will ruin the Democrats despite Trump losing.

As a practical matter, Paul Ryan decided what laws Obama got to sign for the last year. Before Ryan, it was John Boehner deciding.

Should Hillary die in office, the second person in line to replace her is Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Should Hillary live, it will still be up to Ryan to make a choice about how to govern the USA. Will it just be the usual obstruction of Hillary, same as Ryan did to Obama? Or will he take the GOP back from the hostage-happy tea partiers and team up with Republican moderates and with Democrats to occasionally pass a few important bills that might revive the GOP's fortunes? We will soon know which kind of co-leaders of the USA Paul Ryan and Hillary will be.

The suspense is how many Republicans will Trump defeat.

Trump vows to sue all his female accusers!

Trump's revenge message overshadows otherwise substantive speech.

Trump didn’t say what kind of lawsuits he planned to file against the women, but any libel litigation could be complicated by the fact that Trump, in the 2005 recording, bragged about the same kind of conduct the women now accuse him of perpetrating. Trump recently vowed to sue the New York Times for libel, but has not yet followed through on the threat.

As for addressing what * I * posted, instead of the voices in your head, YOU have failed to do so at every opportunity.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday the choice offered to voters in the U.S. presidential election was between "bad and worse" and that harsh exchanges in the debates pointed to a lack of morality in America, Tehran's arch adversary.

"America claims it has more than 200 years of democracy, and they have had 50 presidential elections, but there is no morality in that country," Rouhani said in a speech, carried live by state television.

"You saw the presidential debates, how they talk..., how they accuse and mock (each other)," Rouhani told a crowd gathered at a stadium during his visit to the central city of Arak.

Rouhani said a head of state had asked him during his visit to the United Nations in September about who he preferred between Republican candidate Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

"I said should I prefer bad over worse or worse over bad?," said Rouhani, a pragmatist politician and cleric who may run for reelection in Iran's presidential polls in May 2017.

He did not say to which candidate his descriptions referred.

This points up the power that a President really DOES have, even with a recalcitrant Congress. So, what did Obama (or maybe it was Hillary) accomplish in his last six years? He (and Hillary) managed to ...

1) Engineer a coup in the Ukraine

2) Instigate sanctions on Russia, creating further stresses on EU economies

3) Destroy Libya

4) Break Sudan into two pieces, creating two failed states out of one

5) Drone Yemen into instability, and support Saudi Arabia's invasion

6) Instigate a proxy was against Assad, using radical Muslim extremists as tools

7) Negotiate trade deals TTIP and TTP

8) Participate in a climate change negotiation

9) Support a Honduran coup

10) Drag his feet in Keystone XL

11) Create a marine sanctuary off Hawaii

12) Piss off Philippine President Duterte

13) Complete the monstrous data storage center in Utah, which contains the emails, texts, phone calls and tweets of hundreds of millions of average Americans

14) Signed more (combined) Executive orders and "Presidential Memoranda" than any other President, including Truman, who up until Obama took the record.
http://moneymorning.com/2016/01/06/president-obama-is-the-most-controv
ersial-executive-action-user-in-u-s-history-heres-why
/

15) Sent more troops back into Iraq

16) Failed to stem the wealth gap

I should really look into those Executive Orders and Presidential Memoranda. But the list of Obama's "accomplishments" actually demonstrates my previous point:

The President's power resides PRIMARILY in the realm of "foreign policy", including negotiated treaties, trade agreements, and partnerships, military intervention and covert action. Exactly the place I don't want Hillary to be.

And where Hillary might do some good - domestic policy- she doesn't have much authority. I made this point before: It would be an interesting test if Congress turns Democratic. I know, SECOND, that you objected to this point because of the possibility of minority Senate Republicans filibustering everything. But you contradicted yourself, because even you yourself said that the filibuster COULD be done away with by a simple majority vote. So if Senatorial Democrats were truly hard-nosed, they could get their way. This would be a test, not only of Hillary's commitment to the American people, but also a test of the Democratic Senators' commitment.

Now, with that kind of legislative and executive power - like 2008 to 2011- the Democrats could choose to accomplish a lot. And if they made a real difference in the lives of everyday Americans they would ensure their hold on power for the foreseeable future. But like in 2008-2011, my bet s that they'd scurry from responsibility, like cockroaches when the light is turned on, because nobody but nobody wants to bite the hand that feeds them contributions, neither Democrats nor Republicans.

Got it, now? Or are you so FUCKING dishonest you'll pretend to not understand it NOW?

1kiki wrote “Trade deals and provoke Russia.” Maybe you could revise that to “provoke any country” ? You do know that Russia isn’t that special, right? Maybe special to 1kiki and Russian megalomaniacs, but not to the USA or its President. 1kiki, did you notice that I once again "lied" because I removed a comma when I quoted you?

Michael Moore in TrumpLand: Movie Review
www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/michael-moore-trumpland-939622

Carefully refraining from directly criticizing the Republican presidential nominee, Moore compares disaffected Americans to those Brits who voted for Brexit, saying that they "used the ballot box as an anger management tool." And he says that if Trump is elected, the voters will have declared "the biggest 'f— you' ever recorded in human history."

But his true agenda becomes clear when he talks about Clinton.

"Can't you say something nice about Hillary Clinton?" he implores the crowd. One male Trump supporter grudgingly allows that "she stood by her man."

Moore has his own nice thing to say about her: "I'm glad she killed Vince Foster," he announces to startled laughter. He proceeds to lampoon the many conspiracy theories that have sprung up about Clinton's supposed trail of bodies, referencing one internet site claiming that the candidate has been involved in the deaths of 46 people. Enthusing over her "badass" credentials, Moore crows, "ISIS is gonna shit if she's president!"

In other news: The Las Vegas Review-Journal endorsed Trump for president. The Review-Journal was bought late last year by billionaire Sheldon Adelson, a Trump supporter. It is the first major newspaper to give Trump its blessing. “Mr. Trump’s impulsiveness and overheated rhetoric alienate many voters,” its endorsement said. “He has trouble dealing with critics and would be wise to discover the power of humility.”

Why is Trump losing an entirely winnable race, especially since parties controlling the White House rarely hold on for a third-straight term?

Because the conservative echo chamber drowned out doubts about Trump. That Trump is trailing Clinton by double digits shouldn't be surprising. In the April NBC/WSJ poll -- before the GOP primary season concluded -- Clinton led Trump in a hypothetical matchup by 11 points (50%-39%), but she was ahead by just two points against Ted Cruz (46%-44%), and she trailed John Kasich by 12 (51%-39%). But GOP voters didn't listen to those MSM voices and poll numbers. As conservative radio host Charlie Sykes said back in August, "We've basically eliminated any of the referees, the gatekeepers. There's nobody."

All Hillary haters can take comfort in knowing that she probably won't be elected for a second term, unless the GOP foolishly runs Trump against her and he once again gets struck by lightening.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

COOL - NOW I KNOW YOU READ IT! And you'd be hard pressed to lie about that again. In fact, now I know what it takes to make you look so fucking dishonest you can't avoid doing what I want.

BTW, I'll keep posting this until you respond to the facts. Though you DO seem afraid of facts about hillary. Why is that?

I hope you don't want a point by point agreement from me for all your facts. That is too much work. I'll make a blanket agreement to all facts, known and unknown about HRC: I respond to 1kiki's facts by writing that I believe you, 1kiki. You have changed my mind about Hillary. Every single thing you ever wrote is now a proven fact. You did a great job of making an airtight case against Hillary.

I wish you had forced me to confront Hillary’s evil sooner, because I already voted a straight party ticket for Democrats. Woe is me. I now will have to live with my regrets.

Except Texas was going to pick Trump’s 38 electoral college delegates no matter how I voted. Maybe I should have withheld my vote? Vote for None of the Above? That might not have really made a difference, either.
http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/texas/#now

But looking at this election, who believes that 1kiki's "facts" make a difference, even if I believe every single one of these "facts”? Assuming everything 1kiki said about Hillary is true and Trump is still losing would suggest that 1kiki's version of the facts doesn't matter. Possibly, 1kiki's facts about Hillary are not believed by enough voters and that is why Trump is losing. 1kiki has four more years to make an even stronger case against Hillary for 2020.

What has not changed is I still don't want Trump as President.
