Word is, as many as 25% of Trumps supporters comes from an anything but Hilary sentiment, and they are not pleased with Trump so far.

Trump brought along his own cheering section when he visited the CIA the day after the inauguration.

CBS News has confirmed about President Trump's visit to the CIA on Saturday:

An official said the visit “made relations with the intelligence community worse” and described the visit as “uncomfortable.”

Authorities are also pushing back against the perception that the CIA workforce was cheering for the president. They say the first three rows in front of the president were largely made up of supporters of Mr. Trump’s campaign.

An official with knowledge of the make-up of the crowd says that there were about 40 people who’d been invited by the Trump, Mike Pence and Rep. Mike Pompeo teams
....There were about 400 members of the workforce who RSVP’d for the event out of thousands who received an invitation in their email late last week. Officials dismiss White House claims that there were people waiting to get into the event.

We now have a president who travels with his own private cheering section and allows the press to film his events only from approved angles that hide this fact. People keep comparing Trump to Mussolini, but I'm beginning to think this might be unfair to Il Duce.

It's very sad he is such a child. I am watching with bated breath to see if his die hard followers continue to dismiss the truth as just lies from the media. I say this because the truth will continue to be called false by this president and as it does his detractors should grow.

Stop being so mean to president Trump, his spokesman tells the media in his first real press conference

President Donald Trump is being “demoralized” by the drumbeat of negative press, his spokesman said today in his first official press conference at the White House.

It was a jarring message from a president who relied heavily on name-calling during his campaign, encouraged his fans to harass media, falsely accused his predecessor of being born in Kenya, and has often bragged about his toughness and dislike of “losers.”

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

What Spicer actually said:
“You see this historic thing and he stands there at the capital and you look out and its an amazing view….then to hear ‘Look at this shot, it wasn’t that big’ it is a little demoralizing.”

PLEASE NOTE: he did NOT say Trump was 'being demoralized'.

How did your beloved 'democratic' party fuck up so badly?

Wow... you mean that people voted for the "lesser of two evils". That's never happened before.

I'd say if he has at least 75% of his voters actually wanting to vote for him, that's a really good number.

Spicer also said “I think it’s just unbelievably frustrating when you’re constantly told ‘It’s not big enough, and not good enough, and you can’t win.'” But what does the word "unbelievably" even mean with a guy like Trump who nonstop spins out one wild fantasy after another?

And what does the word "honestly" mean when Trump uses it?

I watched that. What Spicer left out was that the press were responding to what Trump said and did. Which is what, totally unorthodox and subject to criticism.

Trump reminds me of 1kiki and SIG here. They blame others for being the way they are, yet the others they blame are not like them at all.

There were 17 republicans who ran in the primaries. None came close to upending Trump. They voted Trump because they were not going to vote for any politician. Not just Hilary. Just because the voted Trump doesn't mean that more than 30%, 40% are going to back what Trump does going forward.

I'm sure you didn't back everything that Obama did in 8 years either. Where's the news here?

Bottom line is, tough shit. No matter who is president, and no matter if you did or didn't vote for them, you gotta just roll with it. It's been that way since the late 1700s.

Trump's approval rating is like 39%. That's terrible for an incoming president. It says a lot Jack.

It is not the roll the dice, but Russian roulette. Eight out of 44 Presidents died in Office which means 1.1 chance in 6 of death. Russian roulette is only 1 chance in 6 of death.

If you want to count Nixon as dead by political suicide, the death rate for Presidents is 1.23 chance in 6.

Trump is committing slow political suicide AND he is the oldest President AND he is pissing off angry crazy people with guns. Either by his big mouth or his big stomach or a big bullet with his name on it, Trump could be killing himself.

Four presidents died of natural causes – William Henry Harrison (1841), Zachary Taylor (1850), Warren Harding (1923) and Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1945). Four presidents were assassinated – Abraham Lincoln (1865), James A. Garfield (1881), William McKinley (1901) and John F. Kennedy (1963). There have been numerous attempts, such as the one that put Ronald Reagan in surgery. Woodrow Wilson collapsed and never recovered.

I forgot to mention that a Secret Service agent is under fire after posting she wouldn't take a bullet for Trump. There may be other agents with the same sentiment that they wisely keep secret, which is too bad for Trump.

Then there is Trump's private security force ‘playing with fire’
www.politico.com/story/2016/12/donald-trump-security-force-232797
“It’s playing with fire,” said Jonathan Wackrow, a former Secret Service agent who worked on President Barack Obama’s protective detail during his 2012 reelection campaign. Having a private security team working events with Secret Service “increases the Service’s liability, it creates greater confusion and it creates greater risk,” Wackrow said.

Am I threatening Vice-President Pence, now? SEVEN out of 47 total, about 15% of the VPs, didn’t survive their term. It is a very dangerous job. The vice presidency has been vacant due to resignation or death a total of 37 years and 290 days, about a fifth of the time.

There is a reason why that’s not a better-known fact: it hasn’t happened in the last 100 years. The most recent Vice President to die in office was James Schoolcraft Sherman, VP under President Taft, in 1912.

Come to think of it, Trump is like the Space Shuttle. The chances of it crashing were thought to be only one in a million. Then it blew up. Then the probability of catastrophe was revised, but it again blew up. Trump has a much worse chance of blowing up then the Space Shuttle ever did. There are engineers asserting that Trump has leaky O-rings in his boosters and cracked silica tiles on his wings. But NASA management is not listening to the rocket scientists. And neither is the GOP-controlled Congress listening.

My tax cut is a hundred thousand reasons every year to want Trump alive, but when Trump crashes and burns like the Space Shuttle did, twice, he will kill a lot of passengers. Today's Houston Chronicle mentioned that Harris County hospital administrators are worried about their patients losing medical care because of Trump's mindless signing of an executive order wrecking important parts of Obamacare. As usual, Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, who has been leading the charge against the ACA for years, said too bad for you, but not for me.

You don't care about that money. Actually I'm starting to think that it doesn't really exist in the first place anyways. I don't believe you even tote guns, and I don't believe that you're a Republican either.

You say whatever you want to say and then use examples of extremes from both the left and the right in your life to validate them, or to discredit other opinions.

What kind of job do you have anyway, where your tax CREDIT because of Trump is twice the average American family income? Not tax DEDUCTION, but a full CREDIT. What kind of job is important enough to justify that much compensation, yet you can waste all your energy obsessing about all the terrible things Trump does all day long and post about them here?

Don't you have a job to do? Is somebody really paying you a few millions a year to whine about Trump on a little used forum about a TV show that died 15 years ago?

Do Right, Be Right. :)

6ix, you got one out of three right: I'm not a Republican. You probably don't pay attention real well in the real world where life and money are made, but my crack about Republican Rep. Kevin Brady saying too bad for you, but not for me about the end of Obamacare should have reminded you, 6ixStringJack, that I dislike how the mind of a Republican thinks.

Trump just now promised to create 25 million jobs in a decade. There is one for you and every other Ne'er–do–well in America, but Trump might have trouble keeping that promise because his numbers don't add up. Lucky for Trump, people might not care — but then again, they might. Trump went so far as to say he would fulfill “every dream you’ve ever dreamed” and nobody who voted for him even blinked.
