Of course. But hating on Mika is fun. I'm jewish. Virulent antisemites are an easy target, and we get to poke fun at them.

I mean, I'll admit that Milo was taken out of context, and I don't like Milo either. I don't like Trump for that matter, but watch that press conference. He's pretty calm and collected, and smart. And he says "Of course they won't say that, they're say "Donald Trump Rants and Raves" and he was right, they did.

So, say something dumb on national TV and you look like Wolf Blitzer. And we get to laugh at you.

6ix,

yeah, she pulled a stupid. I doubt she meant to say that. It's like Kelly Anne Conway and Bowling Green. But see above.

Oh, I'm sure she didn't mean to say that. There was no taking that out of context though. She backed herself into a corner with that one.

She basically summed up with that little slip what I think about the MSM on both sides of the aisle. It can hardly be called news anymore. It's 95% opinion and 5% fact, if we're lucky. That's why depending on where you're getting quotes you can get two very different stories out of the exact same event.

BRZEZINSKI: Well, I think that the dangerous, you know, edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media and trying to make up his own facts. And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job.

What from this statement, exactly, is your job Mika?

Undermining the Media?
Make up your own facts?
Undermine messaging?
Controlling exactly what people think?

What is there to take out of context G? I don't even see anything in her entire statement that could be seen as a good thing she could have been referring to. Here is a very short Media versus Trump story. Do you think it is the Deep State destroying Trump little by little so that he can be eventually removed from office once his character has been sufficiently covered with mud? Or is it the White House spokesmen plus Trump lying as their standard operating procedure to glorify Trump's many wonderful, yet unreal, "achievements"?

From Colonel Pat Ryder, an Air Force spokesman, on President Trump's claim that he had saved $1 billion on the development program for a new Air Force One:
Quote:

To my knowledge I have not been told that we have that information.
Roger that. Ryder added that reporters would have to ask the commander-in-chief to clear this up. Unsurprisingly, Bloomberg reports that a White House spokesman "didn’t respond to repeated inquiries about Trump’s comments."

Second,

I don't think there is a Trump story. It's the Washington elite's immune system against any outsider. It would have been identical if it had been Bernie Sanders.

This sort of thing has been going on since at least the 60s. Kennedy, and Kennedy supporters even more so. Then the other Kennedys, RFK, JFK jr. And now Trump wants RFK jr.

But anyone who isn't a part of the machine is going to be attacked by it. Doesn't matter if Trump is a financial genius or a baboon, the result will be the same.

G, with SIG it is trolling. Her constant lying and posting of fabricated stories from many different non-trustworthy sources, manipulated to narrate a falsehood, leaves little doubt of that.

But others like Jack, Rappy, jewelstatefan and the many more here who strike out at perceived liberals, do so according to Andrew Sullivan as pay back. Read a quote from an article called the mole published in the New York. He speaks a bit in the article about Stephen Miller a White House lawyer and spokesperson.

"I feel like I know Stephen Miller, the youthful Montgomery Burns who lectured the lügenpresse last Sunday morning in his charm-free Stakhanovite baritone. I feel like I know him because I used to be a little like him. He’s a classic type: a rather dour right-of-center kid whose conservatism was radicalized by lefties in the educational system. No, I’m not blaming liberals for Miller’s grim fanaticism. I am noting merely that right-of-center students are often mocked, isolated, and anathematized on campus, and their response is often, sadly, a doubling down on whatever it is that progressives hate. Before too long, they start adopting brattish and obnoxious positions — just to tick off their SJW peers and teachers. After a while, you’re not so much arguing for conservatism as against leftism, and eventually the issues fade and only the hate remains."

G, time and time again I see and address posts here that make no sense. They are nothing more than attacks against the truth due to a last man standing mentality. Andrew Sullivan's narrative helps explain that.

Jack: Think it through instead of just reacting. SIGNYM obviously gets some clip of a 2nd banana on a 3rd rate tv morning show on an almost unwatched cable news channel that someone chopped up for effect. The clip is without any context. Was there laughing afterwards? Did someone ask her to clarify? Did some say "I think you meant.." and she agreed? Did she just misspeak? SIGNYM can't wait to post it here to prove... what? *Even if she meant it exactly as you think* that the MSM believe they are telling greater truths and Trump is lying? If you have been watching, that is the score - tell me how that's wrong. I love it when any news outlet points out the lies the president of the United States tells and then someone cries that it's biased for doing so. Huh? You don't think that's newsworthy? You don't want to know those things? Or are you just covering for him?

What she says she meant to say:
"Today I said it's the media's job to keep President Trump from making up his own facts, NOT that it's our job to control what people think."

Step back, think it through. It's the weakest of tea, dude. Funny thing, this will increase their ratings.

I will not buy this notion of yours.

I think you have it all wrong about Trump. He is as naturally obnoxious as Milo Yiannopoulos and both get away with it, but with some loud protests from a few sensitive people who are offended.

Eventually, just like Milo, Trump will cross a line that even Republicans will be angry about. It is not that Trump is a microbe being attacked by Washington DC’s immune system. It is more like Trump is trying very hard to destroy his own reputation, but he can’t figure out how to do it. If he keeps trying long enough, Mr Trump will succeed in his kamikaze mission.

I wish on Trump the same success on his suicide mission as Milo Yiannopoulos has achieved:

This Obscure News Story, Which Should Be Huge, Shows How Trump Gets Away With Corruption
http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/02/this-obscure-news-story-s
hows-how-trump-gets-away-with-it.html

One of the flaws in the design of the federal government is that, while the founders envisioned competing branches of government, unified party control of government can turn those branches into partners who do not check each other’s abuses. A second flaw is that Congress has a diffuse and often-confusing decision-making process that can make public accountability extremely difficult. Both problems come together in a new story that ought to be huge news but will instead be relegated to legislative arcana.

Here is the story. The House of Representatives has refused to investigate either one of the two massive ongoing legal and ethical violations involving the Trump administration: President Trump’s opaque ties (financial and otherwise) to Russia, and his ongoing self-enrichment in office and violations of the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause.

If the House won’t investigate, what happens next? Well, the next-best course of action would be some form of public debate on the matter. This is not nearly as good as a real investigation, since the absence of subpoena power means Republicans can simply deny Trump has done anything wrong while blocking any efforts to acquire the evidence that would prove the case. But at least it’s something.

Does Trump have "ties" to Russia? Its doubtful. In any case there are already three ongoing investigations into "Russia" - including into the presumed "ties" that Trump's close advisors have with Russia - if any -

As far as the "emoluments" clause .... even our former State Attorney General and now Senator Kamala Harris, a staunch Democrat and one who knows a thing or two about the law, says that refers to bribes, not businesses interests (which Trump may not even have in Russia). If there's nothing illegal about it, why investigate? I agree that it looks stinky, but it's legal.

Trump's tough stance on China wasn't aimed at improving the U.S. bargaining position with China but rather advancing his private business interests. Specifically, the President was fully aware that attacking the One China Policy, a highly emotional issue for the Chinese, would force them to finally grant his trademark license. On February 9, 2016 following a phone conversation with the Chinese President, the White House announced that President Trump would now abide by the One China Policy as have previous Presidents. This abrupt change in course threw off even his most ardent fans. Shortly thereafter the Chinese reciprocated, granting the elusive trademark license. This is a classic case of an Emoluments Clause violation which the media is yet to pounce on. Specifically the President received a gift (trademark) from a foreign government in return for a favorable policy.

Sinophobia is commonplace in american politics, it's easy to bat it about and get the upper hand in an argument, while pushing China around on the issue of Taiwan. The point of doing so I suspect is to keep China from increasing its hold over Taiwan by giving them tentative support, because opposition means war.

I have no doubt you're right, business interest in Taiwan, however, are huge. This is about trillions of dollars, not millions, I suspect.

The USA exports $26 billion to Taiwan and $116 billion to China. Which is bigger in your opinion?
www.census.gov/foreign-trade/balance/c5830.html
www.census.gov/foreign-trade/balance/c5700.html

Countries that treat Taiwan as an independent sovereign state inevitably get in trouble with the Chinese government. The USA officially endorsed the One China Policy in 1972. Enter President Donald J. Trump and his trademarked name and his love of trouble.

Trump declared that unlike previous administrations, his wouldn't abide by the One China Policy. The argument by President Trump was that China has long taken advantage of the USA in trade agreements and that it was time for the USA to strengthen it's bargaining position. Trump didn’t mention Taiwan. Everything with China was up for renegotiation including the One China Policy. Foreign policy experts differ on whether such a tough stance on China benefits the USA. However what President Trump forgot to mention every single time he talked about trade with China was since 2006 he has unsuccessfully sought to trademark his brand in China.

Second,

Calling Taiwan was one of the first things he did as president.

The development zone triangle Hong Kong-Shanghai-Taipei controls at least 40% of the Chinese economy. If Taiwan secedes, Hong Kong will follow. All either state needs is the assurance of a foreign power. A US-Cantonese alliance would become the world's largest economy.

If someone steps up and says "I can make that happen" that's a very gutsy move, and China's response was to threaten to declare war on the United States. I'm sure Trump's call included a none-to-subtle "what are you going to give me to stop me from doing that."

Well a trademark might have been in the deal, the two leaders talked for over an hour about it, so I suspect there was more to it. Also, no US president had talked to China that way since LBJ.

He may be a baboon with an Ewok on his head, but Trump has balls of steel, I'll give him that. Unfortunately, he's a wheeler dealer, not a true world power player. Russian or Iranians, even the Japanese, would have sent ships to Taiwan, before offering to broker a deal. No US president is going to do that.

The battle for power between Canton and Beijing is not over, and we all know who will win in the end. But the game is how much muscle is Beijing going to resort to before it concedes.

Interesting footnote to this. My sister-in-law who is Chinese, from neither major ethnic group, predicted years ago that China's empire would crumble beginning in 2017. I asked what she was basing that specific a prediction on, thinking it might be something about the year of the Rooster. She said it was military retirement age for anyone who had fought in Mao's revolution. After that, you get the second generation in charge, and they don't have nearly the psychological investment in it that the first did.

Not to be-little or play down the whole Nazi thing,
its a terrible event in human history, millions dead, however that war is over....but you know with the KKK and others scum not doing so many murders...I guess its kinda hard for those protestors, social justice warriors to find a real opponent at times, find an enemy while we were all meant to love the policy of Biden or Obama or Clinton...like they had to 'invent' some bogey man hiding under the bed to stay 'relevant'

not sure about Milo, my gut tells me he's just a professional troll, a conservative, and unfortunately the gay community often does have skeletons in their closet...but Milo maybe he's just annoyed people, rub some the wrong way, or irritated the wrong people...he did make some very interesting comments in regards to free speech and people still hated him then...which makes you question what's going on
anyways back to the cartoonish little dumb Nazi I found

Some people were not sure if this person was real or in fact an actress or troll but yeah she seems real
Veronica Bouchard also known as Evalion, was a controversial YouTuber, a true fascist and an open Nazi supporter. She went online with her little face and squeaky little voice and had made videos of her singing Happy Birthday to Hitler and videos talking about how Hitler was a cool great guy. She was also a follower of the Super Grand Wizard Master of the Ku Klux Klan who was also following her back. She is well known for being racist.....She also believe in some weird conspiracy about teletubbies dumbing down the population? and causing 911? In November 2016 she started to become mainstream news, little Hilter-ite Evalion was returning home to Canada from Germany with her fiancé when she was arrested and had property seized by Canadian immigration authorities. The little Hitler-ite Evalion, detained, question and her fiancé served prison time and was later deported from Canada thus ending their marriage plans. Afterwards, rumors say she became depressed and turned into an alcoholic, she has been banned from youtube, rumors circulate of other 'mirror accounts' hasn't made a serious video since then....that is if she ever made a serious vid? Her weird ass Hitler loving story has now made international headlines and has raised debates about Free Speech and Censorship, Evalion was featured on Canadian tv and also mentioned on French TV, where they brought up many of her videos, including one detailing how the Teletubbies were a communist plot to destabilize the Western World. Many at first thought she was a child but yes she is an adult and her voice is naturally chirpy like a kid or very high pitched and so she sounds much younger than she is.... she is like one of those weirdo young Asian nationalistic cosplayers you might find dressed in Japan like something from a DC/Marvel comic-con convention, making fascism kawaii again!? she was also banned from twitter

and then we got establishment media,

HuffPo thinks everything is 'NAZI' and deletes anyone positive on Trump...
I dunno?

In 1948, the United Kingdom's Foreign Office created the IRD (Information Research Department), which took over from wartime and slightly post-war departments such as the Ministry of Information and dispensed propaganda via various media such as the BBC and publishing.

If Milo is Jewish at all I didn't even know it. I was referring to how frequently somebody gets called a Nazi on this board. It's been about a week now, but I've been called a Nazi 3 times in one day. When Sigs isn't being called a Russian Agent, that's the other word they like to call her too.

Stick around a while and you'll see what I'm talking about. ;)

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Been there, seen it, done it myself. Milo has a jewish grandmother, which makes him nominally Jewish, under Nazi and Israeli law, but he's not a practicing Jew. It came up re: Breitbart and his position on zionism. He probably favors Israel over Islam on the gay rights angle, rather than on ancestry.

Again you quote someone else ( in this case me ), and change the wording to suit you. It is proof of my repeated claims that you post information you know has been edited, therefore false.

I take it that you have been educated on a meme here in RWE called "Fixed it for ya". It's when somebody takes a quote, and by cleverly changing a few words, turns it around on the original poster.

It would be different if I were to change your words and then claim that YOU said them, but I didn't. I very clearly crossed out your words and inserted mine, but the original is still visible. Being very open about what I did isn't "trolling" it's making the point that you apply your standards to everyone but yourself and those you favor. By taking your sentence about Trump and turning it on Hillary, I think I've made the point that you're not even-handed about your morals and ethics.

KIKI posted the question Why would anyone believe our spooks? After all, it IS their job to lie.

Do you recall that the CIA says it does not spy internally?

Quote:

Inquiry by C.I.A. Affirms It Spied on Senate Panel

An internal investigation by the C.I.A. has found that its officers penetrated a computer network used by the Senate Intelligence Committee in preparing its damning report on the C.I.A.’s detention and interrogation program.

The report by the agency’s inspector general also found that C.I.A. officers read the emails of the Senate investigators and sent a criminal referral to the Justice Department based on false information, according to a summary of findings made public on Thursday. One official with knowledge of the report’s conclusions said the investigation also discovered that the officers created a false online identity to gain access on more than one occasion to computers used by the committee staff.

The inspector general’s account of how the C.I.A. secretly monitored a congressional committee charged with supervising its activities touched off angry criticism from members of the Senate and amounted to vindication for Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, the committee’s Democratic chairwoman, who excoriated the C.I.A. in March when the agency’s monitoring of committee investigators became public.

A statement issued Thursday morning by a C.I.A. spokesman said that John O. Brennan, the agency’s director, had apologized to Ms. Feinstein and the committee’s ranking Republican, Senator Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, and would set up an internal accountability board to review the issue. The statement said that the board, which will be led by a former Democratic senator, Evan Bayh of Indiana, could recommend “potential disciplinary measures” and “steps to address systemic issues.”

HOW THE NSA, CIA, AND FBI LEAK ILLEGAL SURVEILLANCE INFORMATION TO OTHER AGENCIES

Quote:

U.S. directs agents to cover up program used to investigate Americans

A secretive U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration unit is funneling information from intelligence intercepts, wiretaps, informants and a massive database of telephone records to authorities across the nation to help them launch criminal investigations of Americans.

Although these cases rarely involve national security issues, documents reviewed by Reuters show that law enforcement agents have been directed to conceal how such investigations truly begin - not only from defense lawyers but also sometimes from prosecutors and judges.

The undated documents show that federal agents are trained to "recreate" the investigative trail to effectively cover up where the information originated, a practice that some experts say violates a defendant's Constitutional right to a fair trial. If defendants don't know how an investigation began, they cannot know to ask to review potential sources of exculpatory evidence - information that could reveal entrapment, mistakes or biased witnesses....

The unit of the DEA that distributes the information is called the Special Operations Division, or SOD. Two dozen partner agencies comprise the unit, including the FBI, CIA, NSA, Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Homeland Security. It was created in 1994 to combat Latin American drug cartels and has grown from several dozen employees to several hundred.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-dea-sod-idUSBRE97409R20130805

So, to apply this to the current situation: The "investigation" by a group of disinterested third-party techies into the "pinging" of Trump Tower server by Alfa Bank (Russia) might not have begun with some random curiosity into a detail so fine it would be overlooked by .... everybody ... but by a tipoff by the NSA/ CIA. The information thus leaked would cause this group to create a plausible story as to why they looked into this "to begin with", and then re-create the same information by another pathway.

FWIW, I thought their story sounded implausible.

Secret Service laptop containing Trump Tower evacuation and floor plans stolen

A laptop with highly sensitive information was stolen from a Secret Service agent's car Thursday morning in Brooklyn and has not been found, according to two senior New York law enforcement officials.
The officials said the laptop, which was highly encrypted and contained floor plans and evacuation protocol for Trump Tower, cannot be traced or erased by officials remotely, leaving the information at risk of being discovered.
The agent described the incident as a compromise of national security, according to one of the officials.

So, the point about stealing the laptop: Of course, all intelligence agencies have access to Secret Service information. But now that that information has been let loose "into the wild" then ANYone can be accused of assassinating Trump or killing his family members. It creates "plausible deniability" which both Trump and his advisors would recognize. Even the theft itself is plausibly deniable.

What's interesting is the role of the Secret Service officer herself from whom the laptop was stolen. Either it was incredible carelessness on her part: leaving the car unlocked in her driveway with the laptop inside - in which case she becomes the "fall guy", or gal - or the locked car was expertly hacked. I doubt we'll ever read the details.

YEP! There was!

I have been posting for quite some time now that some of Hillary's State Department activities- upending Ukraine and destroying Libya and the false flag chemical attack in Ghouta - came as a surprise to Obama. That there was CIA-aided gun-running through Benghazi that Obama knew nothing about. That there is a war going on between different intelligence agencies ... as exemplified by the letter of protest from 50 DIA analysts about having their analyses of the Syria strategy turned into "happy news", only to be answered by a letter of protest from 50 State Department (i.e. CIA) employees who wanted a more "kinetic" approach to Syria.

I have pointed out, time and time again, that the USA is no longer a democracy, but that in matters of importance where the oligarchs and the people part ways, the oligarchs get their way. And have cited the paper many times as evidence.

I have even mentioned CHRISISALL's comment more than once- which has stuck with me for years - that the reason why Obama was such a foreign-policy weenie was because he got a threat written on a napkin early on ... something about "think of your family".

WE have been talking about the deep state for years. I guess you're just late to the party.

Quote:

Now that they are closing in on Trump
WITH WHAT? Either there is proof, from (illegal) surveillance or there's just bullshit. MANY people ... even Hillary's former ally and presumed choice to head the CIA, Mike Morell, said there's no "there" there.

So what's your point? More BUT RUSSIA! ? Good grief!
