McConnell did not allow it to be read prior to vote.
Ryan did not allow it to be read prior to vote.
They somehow tricked Trump into signing. This is what many were concerned about when evaluating whether or not to vote for Trump.

Did Trump just forfeit reelection?

Did Ryan just lose the midterms for the GOP?

Obviously Mr. Elaine Chao doesn't care, as long as his patron (China) gets their share. And Cornyn (TX) appears to just be a McConnell clone.

This juSt exposed the lie of all the GOP Budget hawk campaigners.

I heard more about this, sort of background.

It did seem weird, only last night or so MSM reported that McConnell said there would be a deal by the weekend.
At 2,232 pages, Ryan only allowed 17 hours before the House Vote - hardly enough time to discover what was in it.

Apparently on Tuesday night Ryan spoke at Trump. Ryan explained that, because the Freedom Caucus would not acquiesce to what the RINOs demanded, the RINOs capitulated and compromised with Democrats to craft a Spendaholic Blowout Budget deal.
Trump then tried to find out from the Freedom Caucus if they would work with him to block the Omnibus Bill, so that he could veto and they could prevent override.

It's unclear what followed. Either the Freedom Caucus refused to partner with Trump, or Ryan and McConnell convinced Trump to fold, or something else.

I haven't seen the roster of who voted which way.

If the above description is accurate, then this could really save the Conservatives in the midterms. As long as the Freedom Caucus clearly voted against this, they should be able to make clear that they did not fold on their campaign promises.
And any RINOs who campaigned against this but voted for it are now ripe for getting Primaried, and we could get real Conservatives to replace them, to the benefit of all America.

Trump might get what he has coming, and this exposed his true failures. This might help his supporters finally see thru him, and work toward a better candidate for 2020.

And there is a subject I haven't exactly broached here yet. Most President incumbents are largely unchallenged, since Reagan was the Favorite in 1976. But 2020 could find Trump the most heavily challenged sitting POTUS in Primary season in 4 decades.

I didn't find links, yet.

The Cramnibus bill was HR 1625, Roll Call # 127. 256-167 (7 no vote), 145R + 111D Yea, 90R + 77D Nay.

Of the 31 known Freedom Caucus who voted, all 31 voted Nay. Bridenstine (OK) did not vote. Of the 5 former members of FC, all 5 voted Nay. Apparently Freedom Caucus members are not identified by the Caucus.

The Budget last month, HR 3354 1892, passed 240-186. Some GOP who voted against Budget voted for Omnibus, and some GOP who voted for Budget voted against Omnibus.

I'm curious to know an example or two who you think are better candidates for 2020.

It was a bill where EVERYONE got what they wanted...except the Prez, he'll get plenty of $ to spend on the military but a pittance for the wall. The GOP likely said to the Dems, you give us everything we want and we'll give you everything you want, OK? Maybe I should buy stock in Boeing and GM, I'm sure they're already cranking out planes and Humvees.

Not that they are viable right now, but I would vote for:
Ted Cruz
Ben Carson
Scott Walker
Glenn Grothmann
Probably any member of the Freedom Caucus.
Larry Johnson.
Sarah Palin
Nikki Haley
Paul Ryan
Mike Gallagher

There are others I've heard if, but don't recall their names at the moment.

I posted an incorrect HR #, and just corrected it.

Last month HR 1892, Roll Call # 69, passed 240-186 (5 no vote).

167R + 73D Ayes, 67R + 119D Noes.
Of the 32 known Freedom Caucus members, Bridenstine (OK) and Blum (IA) did not vote. DeSantis (FL), DesJarlais (TN), Weber (TX) voted for it. The remaining 27 all voted against.
Of the 5 former FC members, Babin (TX), Loudermilk (GA-11), Poe (TX), Rothfus (PA), voted for. McClintock (CA) voted against.

Some GOP who voted against Budget but voted for Cramnibus:
Hudson (NC), Chabot (OH), Foxx (NC), Hensarling (TX).

Bridenstine has been Trump's Nominee for NASA Administrator.

Sounds like, at the time of signing, Trump did not have a method to correct this mistake.

But a solution was found. The Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 can be used to curtail the excessive spending of the Democrats. Trump could save this yet.

His stated reason is that he doesn't want to become a weekend dad to his kids.
His family has continued to reside in Janesville, WI - not a huge city.
When the House of Representatives begged and pleaded for Ryan to become Speaker, the concessions he negotiated were for his family time.
In the past week or two the Truancy Marchers started in Madison with the stated destination of The Speaker's home residence. Sure, they probably got bussed the 45 miles but the teen terrorists exposed their bullying tactics.

At some point, an honorable man must do what is best for his family. He is not quitting the Speakership, so he has this year to reduce spending that he had pledged to stop.

He is about 10 years older than you, so he has time to return to Public Office in the future.

Another ridiculous post quoted for posterity.

Hahahahahahahaha. Ha ha.
This is the Libtard projection for 10 1/2 YEARS INTO THE FUTURE!!
And how long did this delusion last?
Not even 7 WHOLE WEEKS!
From the same source of CBO, but document # 53884 now on 24 May, Reality has intruded upon the fantasies of Libtards.
Comparing Table 2 of April's report ($12.418 Trillion cumulative Deficits, 2019-2028 - which includes the so-called 1.854 cost of the Tax Reform) to Table 1 of May's report ($9.479 Trillion) shows the improvement of $2.944 Trillion. Meaning a net SAVINGS of $1.010 Trillion for the presumed $1.5 Trillion loss of Tax Confiscation - assuming Tax Reform does not crank up the Economy and GDP.

This intrusion is what CBO claims is a "Technical Adjustment" meaning that their projections are never wrong, but when sensible Budgets are enacted the resulting Economic Improvements are reconciled as Technical Adjustments, and when obviously foreseeable Economy-bashing Budgets are enacted the resulting Economic Depression are labeled as "unforeseen changes" to the Libtard projection.
