As usual SECONDRATE misrepresents the articles that he links.

Nothing in Trump's tweets about "race". Unless you consider nationality a "race"

Nothing in the social media gathering about race their, either. Not even anything that anyone could POSSIBLY miscontrue about race.

Nothing about Kevin McAleenan and race, either. It's all about asylum.

The "evidence" of racism that you keep pointing to just keeps evaporating like the "evidence" in the RUSSIA!RUSSIA!RUSSIA! hoax.

Signym, you are insane.

"Trump Fans the Flames of a Racial Fire"

Mr. Trump ritually denies any racial animus or motivations. His fight against illegal immigration, he says, is only about securing the border and protecting the country.

“I am the least racist person you have ever met,” he has said more than once. But he does not go out of his way to avoid looking like he is, and his string of Twitter posts on Sunday left his own advisers unable or unwilling to defend him. None of six spokespeople for the White House or his campaign initially responded to requests for comment.

One of the only administration officials who was already booked for the Sunday talk shows, Mark Morgan, the acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, made clear he wanted no part of it. “You’re going to have to ask the president what he means by those specific tweets,” he said on “Face the Nation” on CBS.

Other presidents have played racial politics or indulged in stereotypes. Secret tapes of Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon show them routinely making virulently racist statements behind closed doors. Mr. Nixon’s Southern strategy was said to be aimed at disenchanted whites. Ronald Reagan was accused of coded racial appeals for talking so much about “welfare queens.”

Mr. Trump’s history on race has been well documented, from his days as a developer settling a Justice Department lawsuit over discrimination in renting apartments to his public agitation during the Central Park Five case in New York. Jack O’Donnell, the former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, later wrote that Mr. Trump openly disparaged others based on race, complaining, for example, that he did not want black men managing his money.

“Trump has not only always been a racist, but anyone around him who denies it, is lying,” Mr. O’Donnell said on Sunday. “Donald Trump makes racist comments all the time. Once you know him, he speaks his mind about race very openly.”

At this point it's unclear whether they know they are lying or of they actually believe the lie at this point.

Have you lost your mind, 6ix?

Trump has a decades-long track record of racism that includes everything from calling for the execution of innocent teenagers to breaking fair housing law. This fact about Trump drifts on and off the news agenda, but he put it squarely back on over the weekend with a few tweets that exhorted four new Democratic members of Congress to “go back” to the “corrupt” countries they are from.

While Trump's uncouth behavior seems to have put a low ceiling on his approval ratings, Democrats have reason to worry. When Trump orients American politics around racial conflict, it’s a setting fundamentally favorable to the GOP.

Trump has achieved success in a range of endeavors in life primarily through the display of low cunning and a taste for scams. A good Trump/racism controversy is catnip for the media at a time when sober strategic calculus tends to say that Democrats should be trying to downplay the topic of racial conflict in order to win key swing states that have disproportionately large non-college white populations.

Trump’s path to a 2020 victory is to say racist stuff, then have Democrats call him a racist, and then watch white people in swing states conclude that Trump — a racist, after all — had their back.

Democrats have traditionally tried to reduce the salience of racial conflict in American politics. But much of Trump’s politics is essentially dedicated to making that kind of deracialization strategy untenable, with his actions and rhetoric so inflammatory that they inescapably push racial conflict to the top of the agenda.

As a political strategy, this is a lot worse than something more traditional like “Trump adopts popular policies.” But to the extent that Trump is fundamentally unwilling to address the Republican Party’s unpopular policy commitments on taxes and health care, you can understand why Trump is provoking racial conflict as a potentially viable fallback strategy for 2020.

The people who cry "racism" all the time are often the most racist. They devolve EVERYTHING... economics, nationalism, border control, corruption, education, the media, you name it ... to one single issue: RACE.

It's like people who constantly play the "sexism" card, or the "gender" card, or the "age" card at every gorram opportunity.

The biggest practitioners of identity politics are Democrats. They encourage their electorate to think of themselves as victims because of prejudice, all to gain reparations, easier admissions, softer evaluations, less enforcement (i.e. illegally entering) ... privilege, in other words, to make up for past injustices.

The answer to past and present injustice is more equity, not more injustice.

Did you notice that Trump did NOT capture thousands of aliens as he planned last weekend? He is a fake president because if it had been a real roundup of aliens, Trump wouldn't have told the aliens he was coming for them, allowing them to hide:

1) Trump talks up success of raids, despite little evidence of widespread deportations.

2) Large-Scale Immigration Raids Fail to Materialize

3) A small number of coordinated federal raids targeting undocumented migrant parents and their children took place over the weekend. Only a handful of arrests appeared to take place, and they were reported in just a few cities.
www.nytimes.com/2019/07/14/us/ice-immigration-raids.html

4) As immigrant families wait in dread, no sign of large-scale enforcement raids

There are 555 days left in Trump's first term. That's 555 more chances for Trump to truly begin large-scale enforcement raids, rather than his pitifully fake roundup of 11,000,000 illegal aliens living in the USA.

Trump's racism is encyclopedic, with numerous examples :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_views_of_Donald_Trump

Trump is at least four things: an incompetent handler of illegal aliens, inauthentic about his fake drive to deport illegal aliens, a loudmouth trying to stir racial passions to win the 2020 vote, and a racist. Check the racism list at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_views_of_Donald_Trump

Then 1kiki and Signym should rewrite the wiki on Trump's racism by removing all those so called "racist" incidents from the last 50 years of his life:

Can I also assume that NOT any of these 3 things are true in the opinion of 1kiki and Signym:

B) Trump is inauthentic about his enthusiasm to deport illegal aliens?
C) Trump is a loudmouth trying to stir racial passions to win the 2020 vote?

Last week Bill Lee, the Republican governor of Tennessee, signed a proclamation ordering a day to honor the Confederate general Nathan Bedford Forrest, whom he described as a “recognized military figure.” Indeed, Forrest was a talented military commander. He was also a traitor, a war criminal who massacred African-American prisoners, and a terrorist who helped found the Ku Klux Klan.

Put it this way: The Nazis had some very good generals, too. But the world would be horrified if Germany announced plans to start celebrating Erich von Manstein Day. There are, no doubt, some Germans who would like to honor Nazi heroes. But they aren’t in positions of power; their American counterparts are.

Border officers are arrested 5 times more often than other US law enforcement
(suggesting Border officers are brutal)

https://qz.com/1664253/

Border Patrol agents and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers have been arrested 176 times since October for a range of criminal offenses, according to internal agency documents reviewed by Quartz.

That rate of arrest far exceeds that of other American law enforcement groups. Arrests of state and local police, for example, occur at an average rate of about 0.1% of the force per year, according to the Henry A. Wallace Police Crime Database.

If arrests at CBP continue at their current pace, Border Patrol agents will have been arrested at a rate of more than 0.5% of the overall force for fiscal year 2019.

Christopher Herrmann, a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a former New York Police Department crime analyst supervisor, said official arrest numbers like these are likely lower than the number of actual cases that occur.

That’s because law enforcement officers tend to be lenient on other law enforcement officers, Herrmann told Quartz.

So what? They're still doing a hell of a lot better overall at 1/2 percent than the general population.

It's been going down since 1997, but we're still well above 3% on the national average.

And I'll use the same argument that those who defend the rampant criminal activity among NFL players use...

"Someone being arrested for anything is a far cry from being a convicted felon."

It looks as though most of those are for misdemeanors and other non-violent crimes. This article is taking the few worst examples out of a very small pool of arrests made to try to paint all border patrol as violent and shitty people.

Quoting you: "It looks as though most of those are for misdemeanors and other non-violent crimes. This article is taking the few worst examples out of a very small pool of arrests made to try to paint all border patrol as violent and shitty people."

It is not just arrests. These officers failed in their weekend round up of illegals. They fail in running their lockups along the border. They get themselves arrested. They are bad employees. You get good employees by hiring more people, increasing their pay so that good people will take the job. And the final secret to a well run organization is ruthlessly firing the bad ones, kicking their worthless asses out the door. The GOP doesn't want to spend the money to hire good people capable of capturing and deporting illegals. That's why there are 11,000,000 illegals roaming free inside the USA and more coming all the time.

As a side note, the GOP doesn't want to increase spending on the Internal Revenue Service. That is why $500 billion in taxes aren't collected each year. The GOP doesn't want that money collected. There are nice graphs showing the IRS's yearly decreases in budget/number of employees at www.irs.gov/statistics/irs-budget-and-workforce

Like the IRS and the taxes not collected each year, the GOP doesn't really want 11,000,000 illegals deported, either. Those illegals are employees of Republican owned businesses.

Yeah. No shit.

I don't remember a single time where I've ever called myself a Republican.

I can, however, point out literally hundreds of times where I've said they're just two sides of the same coin and they're equally culpable in making our once great country crash and burn.

When Trump talked about criminals coming across the border, I wonder if he was thinking of this:

Poll: Clear Majority of Mexicans Say Migrants Should Be Deported Back to Their Home Countries

A new poll conducted by the Washington Post found that the clear majority of Mexicans think migrants should be deported back to their home countries.

The survey, which was conducted in partnership with Mexico’s Reforma newspaper, found that Mexicans are “deeply frustrated” with immigrants traveling through their country from Central America.

6 in 10 Mexicans say migrants are a burden on their country taking jobs that should belong to citizens, the poll found.

55 per cent of Mexicans also support deporting migrants who go through Mexico to the United States, compared to just 7 per cent who want to give them residency in Mexico.

The results of the poll completely contradict the narrative that wanting proper border controls and disincentivizing mass migration is a view only shared by “racist” Trump supporters.

The Washington Post acknowledges that the numbers “defy the perception that Mexico…is sympathetic to the surge of Central Americans” and that they prove “Mexicans have turned against the migrants transiting through their own country”.

Mexican citizens are more in line with Trump’s view on immigration than virtually every Democratic presidential candidate running.

Let that sink in.

“Will Democrats say Mexicans are racist now?” asked Robby Starbuck.

Gangs profit from Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy

Gangs are taking advantage of stranded migrants, who often are penniless but have relatives who can wire them cash in an emergency.

NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico — Ten-year-old Anthony sat cross-legged on the floor eating soupy white rice while his mother recounted the day when 20 gang members stormed the migrant shelter where they stayed.

She said the men, dressed in black and wearing ski masks, yelled “Get to the ground!” and pointed their guns at them.

Dozens of parents and children screamed and cried as the gang took their phones and money.

“We can’t stay here,” said Sandra, Anthony’s mother, as she held him at the Good Samaritan shelter here. “It’s not safe.”

The Good Samaritan is one of several shelters in Nuevo Laredo housing migrants caught up in the Trump administration’s Migrant Protection Protocols program, which has returned more than 45,000 asylum-seekers to Mexico to await their U.S. court hearings.

As of August, more than 6,300 migrants were sent back to Nuevo Laredo under MPP, according to the Syracuse University nonprofit TRAC, which monitors federal agencies and courts.

Gangs are taking advantage of stranded migrants, who often are penniless but have relatives who can wire them cash in an emergency. Many are robbed or kidnapped and held until their families in the U.S. or in their home country pay for their release.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Observers said that the crackdown in Paris (on tent cities of migrants) could trigger a mass movement of migrants to the northern port city of Calais, from where they may try to reach Britain by crossing the English Channel. French authorities cleared a sprawling migrant camp in Calais in 2016, and many residents of the camp fled to Paris and set up migrant camps across the city.

The clearing operation in Paris is part of a package of 20 measures announced by Prime Minister Édouard Philippe on November 6 to "take back control" over migration policy.

Philippe, who serves under President Emmanuel Macron, said that the government would clear all the migrant camps in France before the end of the year, restrict access to medical care for migrants who are not authorized to be in France, and establish quotas for migrants with professional skills to offset labor shortages. He also said that the government would create 16,000 more housing spaces for migrants, along with three more detention centers for those not authorized to be in France.

"It's about sovereignty," Philippe said.

"We want to regain control of our immigration policy. Taking back control means ensuring that when we say yes, it really means yes, and when we say no, it really means no."

Immigration has become a major political issue ahead of French municipal elections to be held in March 2020, and presidential elections set for 2022. Polls show that Macron's La République En Marche party (LREM) is currently running neck and neck with Le Pen's National Rally party, according to an Ifop survey published by Le Journal du Dimanche on November 3.

UN Study Finds World's Highest Rate Of Child Detention... Under Obama

Authored by Mike Shedlock via MishTalk,

A UN study shows the “U.S. has world’s highest rate of children in detention".

That was under the Obama administration.

Of course, such a headline is politically unacceptable.

Thus, the UN Withdrew the Study.

A Nov. 18 story headlined “U.S. has world’s highest rate of children in detention -U.N. study” is withdrawn.

The United Nations issued a statement on Nov. 19 saying the number was not current but was for the year 2015. No replacement story will be issued.

Story Pulled in Multiple Places

Not only did the UN pull the story, Reuters and Agence France-Presse also killed the story.[/]

Oops, can't scandalize the wrong guy can we?

The Wall Street Journal reports Border Dilemmas Are the Same for Trump or Obama

Most of those turning up at our border and applying for refuge will surely be deported, insists the president’s hardhearted official spokesman. Oh wait. That was Obama spokesman Josh Earnest, referring in 2014 to unaccompanied minors showing up at the southern border: “It’s unlikely that most of those kids will qualify. . . . They will be sent back.”

Still, the current administration’s fans gallingly argue that failing to deport immigration offenders will only encourage more to come: “There is nothing humanitarian in tacitly encouraging tens of thousands of children to risk their lives, often at the hands of cutthroat smugglers, to enter this country illegally.”

Oh wait, that was the Washington Post editorializing in July 2014. As the paper went on to note approvingly: “During the past 14 years, under presidents Bush and Obama, the United States has sent more than 9,000 additional Border Patrol agents to the Southwest frontier, more than doubling the force there. It has built more than 600 miles of fencing; installed almost 12,000 underground sensors; and deployed scores of aircraft, drones and boats.”

When you put it that way, Mr. Trump’s wall sounds merely incremental. Mr. Trump may not be less cynical than other politicians, but he layers on less hypocrisy. This offends.

Jack just being a dick.

White nationalism
White nationalism is a type of nationalism or pan-nationalism which espouses the belief that white people are a race and seeks to develop and maintain a white racial and national identity. Its proponents identify with and are attached to the concept of a white nation.
