Yeah. It's kind of a logic bomb designed to make people's heads explode. Kind of like "This statement is a lie". Normal brains can look at it and say that it is an objectively false statement. Others will usually ignore it completely because it hurts to think about it.

Apparently these signs have been popping up randomly all over the place.

Some of the news stories showing them interviewing people on the streets about them are priceless. You can literally see the sparks in their dead eyes and smoke coming out of their ears while they say nonsensical stuff.

It all fits in rather nicely with my theory that if the Democrats and the Legacy Media didn't spend 24/7 every day riling people up about Trump that they'd have a moment to digest everything and look around them and realize that they are surrounded by groups of people with very little common interests overlapping, and quite a few people who are completely incompatible with their own ideals or even downright hostile to each other.

This is another good one...

There really is no defending NOT dropping the B, right?

Not because there aren't bi-sexuals, and not because the L's and the G's and probably a good majority of the T's aren't on board with the B's, but because none of them (or not enough of them to matter) have ever stepped up and called out bad actors or bad ideologies from making their way into their group and into the mainstream.

How can you honestly defend the B's, when it's common knowledge that the Alphabet Movement as a whole has been embracing the idea that there are more than two genders? (I don't personally believe that they have really, but that's how the Legacy Media has been treating it when it's discussed for quite some time now). Or when specific individuals have come out and say that men who won't date trans women and women who don't date trans men are bigots?

I mean, really... Isn't being a Lesbian or a Gay bigoted? Or at least as bigoted as being straight? If there are only two sexes, you're completely unwilling to have sex with the same gender if you're straight or the opposing gender if you're gay? That's bigoted, isn't it? If there are a million different genders, well boy... you're extremely bigoted if you're L, G or straight by only choosing to have sex with one of them.

These ideas and ideologies simply aren't compatible with each other in the slightest. It doesn't matter that these signs were born on 4chan or reddit or wherever they come from. It doesn't matter if people try to defend against ideas by pretending they don't really exist or they are invalidated because they were born from "alt-right" personalities.

The paradoxical nature of it all is undeniable, and it is impossible to defend it in any way because no matter what defense you use you are put in a hypocritical situation.

In the case of the "Islam is Right About Women" sign. How do you defend that? Either Muslims are right and you're a sexist, or the Muslims are wrong and you're an Islamophobe.

It's hilarious to be on the outside looking in on this. It's only going to become more amusing over time.

I won't deny that it's hilarious. It certainly is.

It's more than that though. It is hoped that it is a red pill of sorts... that the more intelligent among those who just buy into the SJW narrative as a whole will see this sign and it will break a chain or two in the nets of Newspeak and cognitive dissonance that the Legacy Media have wrapped around their brains.

Rather than a Futurama head explosion from a robot paradox moment, the subject will start building up to that and rather than short circuiting their brain a big light bulb will go off and the big "WTF?" moment that occurs while they continue to stare at it will be the beginning of them re-claiming their mind for their own.

You're never going to see polling data on it, so it's never going to be known how effective this type of thought experiment is at the end of the day.

Meanwhile... people like T who are likely beyond fixing are just likely going to look at that sign and call somebody a racist or a sexist or both and not even bother grappling with the meaning. Although... I might be wrong about this last part.

You'll notice that this post was made almost exactly 6 days ago and has 80 views, but you're the only one who's even commented on it, and only after I bumped it. Even after you had posted, the meaning of the sign was still lost on you too. You took took your own inferences from it, but rather than go into attack mode, you made a joke about it. I suspect that this is because you really didn't get the message, and you probably just wondered why I was posting something that was such an uncomfortable read, and because we generally get along very well you didn't want to just jump to the immediate conclusion that I was attacking women by posting that.

If this sign doesn't work like it's designed to, then one would assume that the regulars would have poured in here and started trashing me about being racist and/or sexist... Especially T.

But no. Just as I figured would happen when I posted it here, it's hardly gotten any attention at all other than views. Most people see a sign like that and they have no idea what to make of it on a conscious level.

But what about on a subconscious level?

Well, obviously it's a pointed comment on multi-sexuality in the sense that if there are more than 2 genders, no one can be BIsexual (because that references two and only two genders) ... aside from which, if one is BIsexual that makes a third gender ... and on a broader look, if one is only one gender, it means one is prejudiced against the other genders one is not. This is the Hydra, biting itself on the ass!

But if there's a more nuanced meaning, that's based on new memes and slang, then I'm too out of date for that. You have to remember I'm more than a generation older than you.

THUGGER likes to make shit up and post it - even to the point of LIBEL (PROVABLY and culpably untrue statements made as if they were facts). Signy and I have been subjected to a continuous campaign, involving many people, of being libeled as Russian Trolls™ going on three years.

It's just how they roll. I'm not sure why you'd think you'd be an exception to their tribal chants.

Oh... I don't think I'm an exception.

Whereas everybody except for Marcos has gone out of their way to say that they don't believe that I'm a Russian Troll, they like to point out that I'm just stupid instead, even though it's fairly obvious to anybody who isn't firmly entrenched in their hive-mind that this isn't even close to anything resembling the truth.

T really seems to have a hard-on about the idea that I'm a racist now though. He's been calling me one for a week straight, and his only reply when I ask him to explain why he feels that I am is to continually copy and paste that particular post about Elijah Cummings being a member of the White Power movement for using the OK symbol, since the ADL has come out and said that it is a symbol of White Power and Hate.

It doesn't even make any sense trying to link that post as proof that I am racist, and anybody who isn't completely brainwashed would see that is not the case.

I keep trying to red pill him here, but he's already dug in his heels so far on the issue that if he apologizes and retracts the statement now he would be forced to question all sorts of other flawed reasoning that is bouncing around in that brainwashed noggin of his and doing so would be too much for him to bear, both emotionally and psychologically.

Imagine waking up one day and realizing that your life and everything you believe is a lie. I couldn't even begin to contemplate how difficult that would be for somebody to be faced with that knowledge, and I fully understand why he clings to these coping mechanisms, no matter how unhealthy they are for his own mental well being as well as society as a whole when you realize that there are thousands and even perhaps millions who suffer from that very same affliction.

Yanno - when I scan the various news outlets, I intentionally make a POINT of clicking at least one tenth of the time on links I completely can't even understand the title to (usually because they're in some kind of economic jargon loaded with acronyms like FOMC), or have zero interest in (do I REALLY care about the emotional travails of the urban-rich DINK NYC dweller?), or already know I disagree with (why global warming is wrong).

It's far easier to digest one's wrongness when it comes in small bites! Or, at least test the thoroughness of one's knowledge on a subject. And at best, one expands the range of one's knowledge.*

But I kind of think a lot of people just use the internet to entrench their own biases even more deeply. I think I see that a lot in the tribe. Along with, well, tribalism. It's that mental state where everything your tribe does is justified and righteous; and everything the not-your-tribe does is pure badness, made up or not. And at some points, that means you, too.

The only place I think I see the tribe gagging is at WISHI. She's a necessary evil. So while they appreciate that she 'goes there' where they may feel uncomfortable going; they can't outright support her craziness, either.

* For example, just now I read about 'bunkering' ships. And since I already knew about 'lightering' ships (from some work I did about fuel use in and near ports, plus the benefits and drawbacks of 'cold ironing' ships at port), I was curious if they were the same. So I learned something new, which is always nice!
