In a span of hours, Alabama Republican goes from denying an affair to apologizing for it

Alabama-Republican-goes-from-denying-an-affair-to-apologizing-for-it?detail=emaildkre

On Tuesday night, Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill denied allegations that he carried on a “sordid” affair with a Montgomery woman named Cesaire McPherson. McPherson detailed “a number of sordid accusations” about an affair she and Merrill had that lasted at least 16 months. McPherson also accused the Alabama Secretary of State of making racist comments. On Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, Merrill denied all of the claims, saying that McPherson was a stalker who he had to cut off online because she was obsessed with him. Merrill is married with two children and is a Republican who promotes all kinds of “family values” hooey.

On Wednesday afternoon, AL.com reported that Mr. Merrill is admitting to having “an inappropriate relationship” with McPherson. He also says that this admission comes with the extra special bonus that he will no longer be considering a run for the U.S. Senate seat that Republican Richard Shelby will be retiring from in 2022, “because I think it’s important to me to make sure that I become the man that I have been before and that I am working to put myself in the position to be the leader that I have been before, as a husband, as a father, as a friend and as an elected official.”

Cesaire McPherson appeared in a photo with Merrill and another woman back in November 2018, on Merrill’s Facebook page. Merrill wrote in the post: “I was delighted to see my friends Cesaire McPherson and Melissa Isaak today during their visit to the State Capitol! They have a strong interest in fairness in government and transparency in the political arena! They are committed to supporting candidates who support families first!”

McPherson gave a recording of a statement to AL.com saying, “I don’t want to say anything other than here’s the proof that John Merrill is a liar. Here’s the true John Merrill.” Why did Merrill so quickly turn around and admit he hadn’t “become the man that I have been before”? According to AL.com, it might have had something to do with the 17-minute recording McPherson furnished them with, purporting to be a conversation between Merrill and McPherson where they discuss doing a lot of sex together.

Merrill is best known around these here parts for his time in the Alabama state legislature where he worked hard to make it harder for Alabamans to vote and championed grotesque anti-immigrant laws, drug testing welfare recipients, and intense pro-birther legislation—and did that all while supporting the full repeal of the Affordable Care Act. Merrill argued that Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr.’s fight for civil rights would be cheapened if Merrill allowed “somebody that’s too sorry to get up off of their rear end to go register to vote.” In that same interview, Merrill explained that “I’m not attracted to lazy people or sorry people or people who don’t want to get involved.” I guess he’s most attracted to not lazy people who aren’t his wife?

Like a lot of men hiding behind religion, Merrill reportedly attempted to say it was God that he was hoping would save him from continuing his affair with McPherson. During the conversation reviewed by AL.com, this exchange took place:

“I am not able to stay away from you, so that’s the reason why I have to have help in order to do that … the help is coming from the Lord,” he said.

“You already went against your marriage … So you’ve already done it, you can’t take that back, you can’t change it,” McPherson said.

Two years ago, during an appearance at the monthly Dekalb County Republican Breakfast Club, Merrill explained that the LGBTQ community and the focus on changing cultural understanding was eroding our country’s morality:

“[T]hat’s what we’ve allowed to happen,” Merrill said. “How have we allowed it to happen? There are no more good TV shows on like ‘Gunsmoke,’ ‘Bonanza,’ ‘The Virginian,’ ‘Andy Griffith,’ ‘I Love Lucy.’ We don’t have those shows anymore. We’re too interested in homosexual activities. We’re too interested in seeing how this family’s finding a way to mess on this family or to see how people are trying to date on TV, or having wife-swapping on TV. That’s what we watch. When we push back against that, and we quit allowing it to be in our homes – that’s how those changes have occurred because we’ve allowed them to slowly but surely come into our lives.”

Sounds like someone needs to start watching Gunsmoke again, I guess? It would be comical if sociopaths like Merrill didn’t leave a wake of emotional destruction affecting any and all women in his life.

Matt Gaetz is the person the QAnon crowd referred to when they talked about pedophiles taking your children. Now if they can just find that pizza parlor where he holds the kids, all of their fears will be realized.

Gaetz jokes never get old, neither do his girlfriends.
Gaetz didn’t ask for a blanket pardon, what he said was “Pardon me, my date needs a blankie.”

Daily Mail Exposes Hunter Biden Bombshells After 'Tell-All' Book Holds Back
Tyler Durden's Photo

According to one British commentator, the Daily Mail is the most widely read publication in Britain, and closely associated with the current Conservative (Boris Johnson) government

Quote:

by Tyler Durden
Saturday, Apr 10, 2021 - 05:55 AM

With Hunter Biden on a serious image rehabilitation tour - a 'tell all' book combined with television interviews from friendly outlets designed to invoke pity over the First Son's crack and hooker habits, the Daily Mail is now telling the rest of the story regarding the contents of his abandoned laptop after Hunter admitted it 'certainly' could be his in a Sunday interview with CBS.

If you've seen the laptop photos which leaked last October, you can probably stop here. The Mail did spare us from blurred pictures of Hunter's wang, along with several sex tapes released by exiled Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui.

After obtaining a copy of the hard drive, DailyMail.com commissioned top cyber forensics experts Maryman & Associates to analyze its data and determine whether the laptop's contents were real.

The firm's founder, Brad Maryman, is a 29-year FBI veteran Supervisory Special Agent who served as an Information Security Officer and founded its first computer forensics lab. -Daily Mail

The Mail obtained over 100,000 text messages, 154,000 emails and over 2,000 photos which were verified by top forensics experts, which reveal that Joe 'became a punching bag for Hunter's drug-fueled rants,' and 'paid his grandchildren's bills when Hunter had drained his bank accounts with prostitutes and crack cocaine.'

Hunter appeared to be obsessed with making and starring in porn films with prostitutes, videos and photos on his laptop show.

The hard drive contains hundreds of pictures of naked women and naked selfies of Hunter, as well as dozens of videos.

Hunter photographed and filmed himself, often with two prostitutes at a time, in explicit videos that he then posted on adult website Pornhub under the username 'RHEast'.

Hunter filmed himself with the women from his laptop webcam, sometimes shooting at different angles using an iPad and cell phone. -Daily Mail

The Mail also promises to release more Hunter laptop drops:

Hunter's laptop is a pandora's box of shocking revelations, explicit photos and intimate communications. In the following days, DailyMail.com will publish more shocking stories from Hunter's laptop, including:

* How Hunter blew hundreds of thousands on prostitutes, drugs and luxury cars, leaving him scrambling to avoid jail for $320k in unpaid taxes
* How five members of the Biden family have been to rehab for drug or alcohol abuse – and a stunning admission by Joe to his son
* The OTHER Biden family member planning to buy and cook crack, after falling into the disastrous addiction with Hunter
* Hunter's unconventional and unlikely relationship with his well-known psychiatrist
* The whispered bedroom conversation with a prostitute caught on Hunter's webcam, in which he confesses he had a previous laptop stolen – by Russians for blackmail

So it looks like the Russians had kompromat on Hunter Biden?
Quote:

The president's son left his 2017 MacBook Pro laptop at a Wilmington, Delaware computer repair shop in April 2019 and never returned for it.

In one text exchange between Joe and Hunter, Joe wrote "Good morning my beautiful son. I miss you and love you. Dad." To which a petulant Hunter raged at his father for "having made clear to the world that the only reason for not [running for president is your] family problems im glad to be the f***ing bullseye you painted on my back."

In another exchange, Hunter complained that Joe's advice not to defend himself publicly during his expensive divorce with ex-wife Kathleen Biden, or his affair with his brother's widow Hallie, had backfired.

"Your team just made me the uncontrollable troubled tax cheat philanderer sex and drug addict that you tried so hard to fix but couldn't yt. They just totally wrote my life away," Hunter wrote, adding "If you dont run [for president] ill never have a chance at redemption."

Joe replied with a promise to run, though hinted that maybe Hunter should probably stop getting so dramatic over texts due to them being a target.

"I'll run but I need you,' he wrote. 'H[allie] is wrong. Only focus is recovery. Nothing else... When you can and feel like it call. Positive my text etc a target. Love."

Joe Biden would announce his run for president two months later - during which Hunter's laptop contents would leak, defeating the purpose of rehabilitating the crack addict's image.

Joe would again warn Hunter not to spill his life story over text, writing "Be careful what you text. Likely I'm being hacked."

Read the rest of the report here.

And then there's this other thing Hunter failed to mention in his book or his interviews...

“Hunter Biden purchased a handgun illegally, he lied on a federal background check..”

“The question is will David Chipman arrest the President’s son? If he doesn’t... how exactly are you obligated to follow these rules?”

Great questions, Tucker. pic.twitter.com/mNbYAwzOHN

The Daily Mail promises more.

In looking for this story online, all I found were alt news sites. Not a single M$M was carrying it.

So.

One of the things I noticed about the Brit MI6 and M$M is that the CIA frequently "launders" its "intelligence" thru MI6. The "Steele dossier". The "Iraq WMD" allegation (under Tony Blair). This gives CIA a little more credibilty when MI6-affiliated sources pop up with psyops, instead of coming directly from the CIA itself.

BUT.

In this case, the story is being carried by the British press, but no the USA M$M (which is linked to the CIA).

Which brings me back to Ukraine. But I'll have to get to that later.

Matt Gaetz Paints Himself as Victim in Defiant Speech After House Ethics Committee Launches Probe

Gaetz spoke on Friday at an event held by the group Women for America First at former President Donald Trump’s club Trump National Doral Miami and characterized the investigations as an ideological attack. He took a page right out of the Trump playbook and characterized himself as someone who is suffering the repercussions of being a truth-teller in the swamp.

“They lie about me because I tell the truth about them, and I’m not gonna stop,” Gaetz said, painting the investigations as an attack on his supporters. “So when you see the leaks and the lies and the falsehoods and the smears, when you see the anonymous sources and insiders forecasting my demise, know this: They aren’t really coming for me. They’re coming for you. I’m just in the way.” Gaetz, sounding a lot like Trump, said he was being investigated because they want him silenced. “I know this: Firebrands don’t retreat, especially when the battle for the soul of our country calls,” he said. “Big government, big tech, big business, big media — they’d all breathe a sigh of relief if I were no longer in the Congress fighting for you.”

Gaetz’s friend, Joel Greenberg, who has been charged with sex trafficking of a minor, is ready to negotiate a plea deal with prosecutors and could very well cooperate as a witness against the Florida lawmaker. Gaetz has reportedly told people involved in Florida politics he met women through Greenberg.

Gaetz sounded a defiant tone shortly after the House Ethics Committee on Friday opened an investigation into the lawmaker’s conduct. The committee said it was aware of claims that Gaetz may have engaged in “sexual misconduct and/or illicit drug use, shared inappropriate images or videos on the House floor, misused state identification records, converted campaign funds to personal use, and/or accepted a bribe, improper gratuity, or impermissible gift, in violation of House Rules, laws, or other standards of conduct.”

So far, as far as Gaetz is concerned, all of the accusations sound like so much mouth-breathing hysteria. Pretty much like all of the mouth-breathing hysteria around Trump.

Unlike, say, a video of Biden bragging in public about getting Ukraine to fire its Procurator General by threatening to withhold USA aid; or pictures, videos and texts from Hunter Biden's laptop.

In any case, unless Hillary Clinton, Bill clinton, Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Matt Gaetz, etc BREAKS A LAW when it comes to their sex lives... I don't care.

I'm far more interested in what these people do AS POLITICIANS who are supposedly representing my interests and defending the USA than I am about what goes on in their sordid sex lives. And you should be, too.

BTW ... can wecall Hunter Biden a "typical Democrat"?

Signym, Gaetz, and Hunter are stupid. In 1976, a professor of economic history at the University of California, Berkeley published an essay outlining the fundamental laws of a force he perceived as humanity’s greatest existential threat: Stupidity.

Stupid people, Carlo M. Cipolla explained, share several identifying traits: they are abundant, they are irrational, and they cause problems for others without apparent benefit to themselves, thereby lowering society’s total well-being. There are no defenses against stupidity, argued the Italian-born professor, who died in 2000. The only way a society can avoid being crushed by the burden of its idiots is if the non-stupid work even harder to offset the losses of their stupid brethren.

SECONDRATE: And a lot of mass shooters are nutters.

But if a stupid person is a Republican, you can't seem to stop labelling them as "typical Republican", and if a mass shooter posts something even mildly off the liberaloid narrative you label them as "right-wing terrorist".

But should any of them be Democrats you chalk it up to individual stupidity/craziness.

Unlike you, I actually have a job that requires me to be responsible. And, unlike most jobs, my errors have real consequences much worse than a truck driver falling asleep at the wheel or a doctor committing malpractice. One thing I am certain of, after distasteful experience, is to not allow Trumptards anywhere near tasks that are important, where there are no do overs and it has to be right every time. Trumptards aren't good enough for what I consider important jobs. They think they are. They think they are important and competent people, but I have found they can't run their own lives worth a goddamn, and they can't admit their mistakes are their fault, not the system's fault. I let the Trumptards do the routine work (and most of the world's work is routine) that doesn't make much difference if not done completely and precisely as it should be. But I much rather let the Trumptards go unemployed because they are too obnoxious to have around. Gaetz and Trump for two examples.

Baloney. According to you, you HAD a job that required you to be responsible. (Chemical engineer designing chemical or petrochemical plants. Not that you designed a plant all y your lonesome, since you assuredly worked in a team for a design consulting company. So, don't take all of the credit, son.) And before I retired, I ALSO had a job that required me to be responsible. Not only were the results of our analyses applicable in court and involved in mutli-million dollar lawsuits, they also affected the economic well-being of hundreds of facilities in our area- from mom-and-pop drycleaners to refineries, and the health of millions of people living in our region.

Son, in my career I supervised dozens of people, interviewed hundreds for hire and promotion, and worked with several hundred on projects large and small including independent consultants and contractors of all types, and as a working mom I hired a dozen and fired several to take care of our daughter when we were at work, and I can tell you: incompetence comes in all colors and political affiliations.

And I'm not talking about rumor or gossip, I'm talking about people who grabbed boobs in elevators, came to work high, threatened people, and in general had to have their sorry asses fired for being incompetent and unprofessional. Not universal, but not a good record there.

And the two worst managers I ever had the displeasure of working with were Christian. One was a liberal, the other was conservative, but both were extremely poor judges of professional competence. Are you going into the territory of shades of gray -- the twilight where we are all flawed? Where the air is foggy and nobody can be seen clearly for who they are? The air is clear where I live. My eyes can piece through the camouflage smoke Trumptards blow out of their mouths when disturbed. How? I was once a Trumptard, or more precisely I was like the people who evolved into today's Trumptards. I did not start life as Libtard.

I don't know all Trumptards but the ones in Texas still defend the Confederacy. Those people made it very clear to me why. The Trumptards deny the why, thinking their true motives are hidden but I see who they really are behind the camouflaging words out of their mouths.

It is minor side effect of their morals and conduct, but Texas Trumptards in Baytown strongly want Robert E Lee High School to not change its name since why remove the name of a slave owner and traitor whose Army killed hundreds of thousands? For that matter, the Trumptards don't see what was wrong with killing 215,000 civilians, women and children with nukes. It's not minor, but that's why America will spend trillions on future nukes, because the Trumptards insist, they have the votes in the Senate, and there are profits to be made. There is more, but why bother? It is clear that the Texas Trumptard moral compass has its polarity reversed and there is no possibility of them confessing that.

SECONDRATE: Unlike you, I actually have a job that requires me to be responsible.

Baloney. According to you, you HAD a job that required you to be responsible. (Chemical engineer designing chemical or petrochemical plants. Not that you designed a plant all y your lonesome, since you assuredly worked in a team for a design consulting company. So, don't take all of the credit, son.) Now, you just collect the royalties from your gas/oil-producing land.

And before I retired, I ALSO had a job that required me to be responsible. Not only were the results of our analyses applicable in court and involved in mutli-million dollar lawsuits, they also affected the economic well-being of hundreds of facilities in our area- from mom-and-pop drycleaners to refineries, and the health of millions of people living in our region.

Quote:

Trumptards aren't good enough for what I consider important jobs. They think they are important and competent people, but I have found they can't run their own lives worth a goddamn, and they can't admit their mistakes are their fault, not the system's fault. blah blah blah ...

But American blacks, on average, were worse than any other group. Did you want to see people who thought they were better than they really were, who blamed others for their problems, and who were more prone to fucking up their personal lives than others? And I'm not talking about rumor or gossip, I'm talking about people who grabbed boobs in elevators, came to work high, threatened people, and in general had to have their sorry asses fired for being incompetent and unprofessional. Not universal, but not a good record there.

And the two worst managers I ever had the displeasure of working with were Christian. One was a liberal, the other was conservative, but both were extremely poor judges of professional competence. The worst hiring authorities were men, since they tended to be swayed by how a female candidate looked, as opposed to what she had done in her professional capacity. And the absolute worst employee that I ever supervised was a Mormon.

I've seen asshole liberals (quite a few, actually!) as well as asshole conservatives. Asshole whites, asshole blacks, asshole Asians, asshole women, asshole men, and asshole Hispanics. NOBODY has a lock on assholeness.

Based on my experience here, I'd say that liberals/democrats are almost universally assholes, and you fit right into that description. So being called a "typical liberal" n my book is not a compliment.

The GOP corporate America used to know and love is gone.
What we have now is an angrier GOP willing to punish companies that disagree with it. It's un-American, and it has nothing to do with the free market, but apparently the base likes it.

What Is Happening to the Republicans?

One of the oldest imperatives of American electoral politics is to define your opponents before they can define themselves. So it was not surprising when, in the summer of 1963, Nelson Rockefeller, a centrist Republican governor from New York, launched a preëmptive attack against Barry Goldwater, a right-wing Arizona senator, as both men were preparing to run for the Presidential nomination of the Republican Party. But the nature of Rockefeller’s attack was noteworthy. If the G.O.P. embraced Goldwater, an opponent of civil-rights legislation, Rockefeller suggested that it would be pursuing a “program based on racism and sectionalism.” Such a turn toward the elements that Rockefeller saw as “fantastically short-sighted” would be potentially destructive to a party that had held the White House for eight years, owing to the popularity of Dwight Eisenhower, but had been languishing in the minority in Congress for the better part of three decades. Some moderates in the Republican Party thought that Rockefeller was overstating the threat, but he was hardly alone in his concern. Richard Nixon, the former Vice-President, who had received substantial Black support in his 1960 Presidential bid, against John F. Kennedy, told a reporter for Ebony that “if Goldwater wins his fight, our party would eventually become the first major all-white political party.” The Chicago Defender, the premier Black newspaper of the era, concurred, stating bluntly that the G.O.P. was en route to becoming a “white man’s party.”

But, for all the anxiety among Republican leaders, Goldwater prevailed, securing the nomination at the Party’s convention, in San Francisco. In his speech to the delegates, he made no pretense of his ideological intent. “Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice,” he said. “Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.” (He delivered that famous line shortly after the delegates had defeated a platform plank on civil rights.) Goldwater’s crusade failed in November of 1964, when the incumbent, Lyndon Johnson, who had become President a year earlier, after Kennedy’s assassination, won in a landslide: four hundred and eighty-six to fifty-two votes in the Electoral College. Nevertheless, Goldwater’s ascent was a harbinger of the future shape of the Republican Party. He represented an emerging nexus between white conservatives in the West and in the South, where five states voted for him over Johnson.

1964 was the last time that the Democratic Party won the white vote, although they came close in 1992.

THUGR, you seem ignorant of the United States' founding, and conflate "corporations" with "America".

Originally, the Founding Fathers were highly skeptical of corporations, since they had the British Crown Corporation - the East India Company, and its monopolies on tea and other goods- as an example to avoid. (The Founding Fathers were also pretty wary of private banks lending to government Treasury, since they had the negative example of the -private- Bank of England to learn from. Much like our Fed today.)

Corporations were originally chartered by individual states. They had limited lifespans (10 or 20 years), were created for a single purpose (building a road or a canal, for example) and were prohibited from dealing in more than one commodity.

How things have changed!

In addition, for most of its existence America placed tariffs on all imported manufactured goods. The FF knew, even if you don't, that it was essential for America's independence to be a fully-capable nation as self-sufficient as possible. Ben Franklin, besides being a scientist, libertine, diplomat, and inventor (Franklin stove, anyone?) also engaged in what we would now call corporate espionage and brought home with him designs and plans for various engines and machines.
http://hiddenhistoryofbusiness.com/index.php/2016/02/08/episode-32-ben
-franklin-corporate-espionage
/

He was also against patents, refused to patent his stove (which he invented, BTW, bc he was concerned about fireplace-driven deforestation) and promoted the spread of knowledge and communication by setting up public libraries and the postal service.

There is nothing "American" about "free trade", transnational corporations and corporate oligopolies.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Many decades ago I had an AHA! moment when I realized that nowhere in the Constitution does it say 'capitalism'. Neither does it say 'corporation', or 'company'. It also fails to mention the modestly-stated sidesteps 'free enterprise' or 'private business', or even 'profit'.

It was the moment my eyes were opened to the fact that business had so hijacked our understanding of America that our understanding of 'freedom' was perverted to mean FREEDOMforBUSINESS. America was business friendly and godly, where everyone had freedom from want (no one talks about THAT freedom anymore, either!) as compared to AHEM! ... elsewhere.

But the FREEDOM the Constitution really talks about is POLITICAL freedom, where we, the people, have the capacity to decide whatever it is we want to decide. What kind of governance do we want? What kind of economy? What kind of environment? What social rules should we follow?

It really is up to us.

In America, we have political freedom so we can decide these things for ourselves.

Rep. Matt Gaetz is out of friends, drugs, and pimps. Might be time to cut your losses, pal
https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2021/4/12/2025545/-Rep-Matt-Gaetz-is-
out-of-friends-drugs-and-pimps-Might-be-time-to-cut-your-losses-pal?detail=emaildkre

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz has long been a terrible, terrible person, which for the past 10 years has been a near-requirement for Republican officeholders in general. He made a name for himself as a rabid partisan of no particular values other than devoted sucking-up; his main contribution to his nation has been a vocal defending of Donald Trump each and every time Trump was caught in some new crookedness. That's it. He's known for that, for launching retaliatory strikes against Trump's enemies, for near-obsessive attempts to ingratiate himself with Dear Golfing Leader, and oh, would you look at that, living a not-so-secret life as a House Republican ultraperv now under investigation for drug-fueled sex trafficking. What are the odds: A man who fetishizes Donald Trump and is joined at the hip to Jim Jordan turned out to be a child rapist? Wow, go figure.

So we are absolutely allowed to enjoy his downfall, and if the man wants to drag this out in order to tarnish or implicate as many of his fellow House Republican sedition-backers as possible then by all means he should knock himself out with that. Do a backflip on the way down, buddy.

The latest humiliation, just so we are all gloriously up to date, is an expected one. Matt Gaetz evidently sought an urgent meeting with Donald Trump "after it was first revealed he was being investigated," says CNN, but was turned down by Trump's aides. Yes, the man who polished Dear Crooked Leader's boots to a shine in multiple impeachment investigations is being cut loose by the Mar-a-Lago crowd.

Now, just to put the proper emphasis on this: If there is any group in Florida that has their pulse on everything corrupt or worth corrupting, it is the denizens of Dear Golfing Leader's For-Profit Living Room and Covid Dispensarium, home of the all-you-can-eat Crime Buffet. The rapist and tax dodger Trump was carried into office by an assembly of small-time and mid-ranking conservative griftologists able to ingratiate themselves because they spoke the same two-bit language; once in office, he was treated as the Jesus of Petty Extortions. This crowd thinks the brown-nosing Matt Gaetz is cooked. This is the crowd that's cutting him loose.

Yeah, he's toast. Already, there's a robo-poll going around Gaetz's district testing names for who in Republicandom should run to replace him. Nobody's fessing up to paying for it, though.

The New York Times has our latest look at Joel Greenberg, the Florida Republican minor officeholder whose goings-on turned his friend Gaetz into a subject of a federal sex trafficking investigation, and the sheer scope of the man's seemingly compulsive crime-doing is ... yeesh. He may be the perfect Florida Republican, a lifetime screwup who spent just enough money to land himself a smalltime elected position in a state that doesn't give a damn about governing to begin with, a belligerent little hack who campaigned on swamp-draining but after taking office immediately seemed to fill his scorecard with every crime he could think of, both petty-ass and prison-worthy. As with every other crook in Florida, he latched onto the Gaetz and Trump crowd because go figure, it turns out sex crimes are one of the key Republican means of bonding, and now it seems he is a bit of a wreck because after f--king up everything else in his life he has a sudden fear of going to Big Boy Jail.

This is a child who would willingly burn every other conservative in Florida if it got him an extra pudding cup in prison lunchlines. He's going to cling to Gaetz's ankles so tenaciously Matt won't be able to board a plane without declaring him luggage.

Here's where things stand: House Republican Matt Gaetz is being probed for the possible sex trafficking of a 17-year-old. Along the way to answering that one last (?) question, people "familiar" with What Gaetz Was Doing have already confirmed to reporters that Gaetz has been openly bragging to his fellow House Republicans about his "conquests" (complete with videotapes); at least once accompanied Greenberg to Greenberg's fake-ID procurement office; "repeatedly" boasted to others about his antics with Greenberg; made at least one apparent sex trip to the Bahamas involving "female escorts" provided by another ally; appears to have assisted in procuring sex for other Republicans; and there are literally Venmo records of Gaetz paying at least three of the women through Greenberg. There's alleged drug use throughout, of course.

Oh, and he sought a "blanket" Trump pardon after he learned, in the last bits of Trump's time in office, that the feds were on to him. Oh, and his (other?) actions while in Congress were so continually grotesque his own staffers were sending videos to other Republicans.

That's not even all of it. That's just the highlights. And House Republicans knew about quite a bit of this, because Matt liked to "brag," and they did nothing because the party is a fascist cult now premised on letting their members get away with crimes.

Unfortunately for Matt Gaetz, he has failed to learn any of the basic lessons of Washington, D.C. Polishing Dear Leader's boots will get you absolutely nothing in return; there is no quid or quo among sociopaths and narcissists. When doing crimes, only do crimes that your associates can keep covered up. Attempt, if at all possible, not to be so universally hated in the nation that every last one of your Not Jim Jordan associates is putting out the popcorn and sitting themselves down on a couch to watch rigor mortis set in on your career.

If the man had an ounce of common sense he'd resign now, if only to make it not quite so spectacularly rewarding for national journalists to squeeze out new detail after new detail while he squirms. Instead, he's promoting seditionist conspiracies and being publicly dim. In times of trouble, some people retrench. Matt here is retrenching.

But Matt Gaetz has been a garbage human being ever since he first slithered out of the Florida swamps like an invasive python, he deserves every bit of it, everyone around him is a garbage human being for not ditching him long before this, and the sooner the Republican base figures out their party is just a crime-fueled sex cult with an advertising budget the better.

All about Matt Gatez... er Hunter Biden

Matt Gaetz v Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton, accused of sexual assault by 12 different women

Settled a sexual harassment suit for $850,000

Has a string of "suicides" and "heart attacks" in his wake of would-be witnesses to his alleged crimes.

Flew on Epstein's "Lolita Express" over two dozen times ... five times refusing his Secret Service protection

There is a picture of Bill Clinton on the Lolita Express with a woman who was paid by Epstein for "massages"

The entire Clinton family took a vacation at Epstein's private ranch in new Mexico

Epstein had a portrait of Bill Clinton cross-dressed as a woman in a blue dress hanging in his home.

*****

If you analyze the Vox article, you'll see that it is nothing but name calling, which is what people do when they have nothing to say.

To be fair, being a shitty dad doesn't mean you can't be good at your job.

In Biden's case, he was a shitty dad and is terrible at his job, but I don't want to live in a world where people don't get hired because of what their idiot kids post on tik tok.

'He's just an idiot to us': Matt Gaetz blacklisted by Fox News and shunned by Trump allies
https://www.rawstory.com/matt-gaetz-trump-2652590189/?utm_source=&
utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=6965&recip_id=28351&list_id=1

Gaetz hasn't appeared on Fox News since the late March appearance on Carlson's show, and the network has barely mentioned his name as the scandal continues to swirl around him.

Even Trump was critical of Gaetz's actions during the interview, where he asked Carlson whether he remembered him bringing a 17-year-old companion on a dinner date with the broadcaster and his wife.

"What was he thinking?" Trump asked in the days afterward, according to one person with direct knowledge of the matter. "What the hell was he thinking?"

However, another source told the website that Trump has privately expressed a willingness to help Gaetz by branding damaging reports as "fake" news, but the former president and his allies have discussed ways to insulate themselves from the lawmaker via phone calls and group messages reviewed by The Daily Beast.

"[Matt Gaetz] used to be a useful idiot," said one person involved in those conversations. "Now, he's just an idiot to us."
