I'm posting about this early, in hopes it'll get more folks to attend...

Sci/Fi will be showing a Firefly Marathon on Monday, Feb 18th (Presidents Day). Opie Taylor's, a local Eatery and Watering Hole in Bloomington IN has tenatively agreed to Air the Marathon on their Big Screen TV... ALL DAY! We just need to reassure them that Folks will show up. I'm bringing swag and such, starting around 11:00, and intend to stay until it's over. If any other Indiana-type BCs are interested in attending, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

HERE'S a little potential bribery...

If more than five people will say that they're coming, I'll wear my Wash Costume to the Shindig.

If more than TEN say they're coming, I'll wear my Browncoat outfit: Coat, Suspenders, Boots and all!

If TWENTY people post here saying they're coming... ??

This will be my last post before the Shindig. I hope all of you out there watch the Marathon, and invite others to do the same. I'm looking forward to meeting those of you who have chosen to come to the Bloomington Thingie. :D

At this time, it looks like at least a dozen people will be there at 11am, when the Restaurant opens. Thank you in advance to those who do that; The owner will breathe a huge sigh of Relief!
