One of my friends sent me this:

http://www.reasonablyclever.com/lego/firefly/photos2.htm

I think it is so very awesome!

This guy rocks! That is dedication...wow! Finding all the right parts must have taken forever, and then some.

I think we should all write LEGO and get them to make a huge detailed kit like this. Cause I would totally buy it!

I wanna meet some AZ Firefly fans!

How totally awesome is that?! I so wish I had done that! Geez! Legos should make a package for that. They'd make a grundle of money!

Wacky fun!

You know what this makes me think of. Anybody remember those old stop action LEGO Cartoons they used to show. And Supposedly, as in I haven't seen it, there is also a LEGOized version of Monty Python's Holy Grail (I am sure you all have seen/love it or view it as a total moral affront to civilization in general. Don't think there is a middle ground here). I couldd just see some one makeing episodes of Firefly in Lego. With a little of creative editing u could even rip the episode audio and attach it straight to your movie. Not practicle but an amusing thought.

OK, now that's a great idea!

The Monty Python thing is on the special edition DVD, just in case you were wondering--and it is wacky fun!

I gave one of his Serenity snack-sized kits away at Christmas to the guy who introduced me to the 'verse. It was a great and intricately built model as well!

OMG, that's an amazing piece of work. The best I ever managed to make was a helicopter...

PS. Looking at all the spare LEGO in those drawers... think he's got enough left over to build an Alliance cruiser to the same scale as his Serenity?

While it is indeed an awsome piece of work, I feel the 'neck' is somewhat short.

But still the best I've seen!

Wow! That is really impressive. Two of my favorites in one shot! Now if you could only get my wife and daughter in there, rig it to play U2, and show Kansas Jayhawk basketball games, it would be the ultimate collection of things I love.

Does the primary buffer panel detach? That would really be somethin.

Isn't there some program through the LEGO website where it designs something for you and then puts together a "kit" so you can buy the exact pieces you want and no others?

I wish I had that type of talent with LEGO's, I just don't, I would need a kit, lol, I might not even be good with that, I suck at puzzles.

I remember reading him say that he had to find a lot of the pieces, or order them...I think he might have used extra stuff from other kits too...he says on the website.
